Audrey C. Hiscock, 7l, passed away on April 23, 2004 at City of Hope in Duarte, CA.

She was born on March 12, 1933 in Montreal, Canada.

Audrey moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 14 years ago from Downey, CA.

She was a member of the W.I.B.C. (Women’s International Bowling Congress).

Audrey enjoyed playing Keno and Bingo during her trips to Laughlin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Lynn Hiscock of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sons Larry Hiscock of Valencia, CA; Tom Hiscock of Anaheim, CA; daughters Sharon Hiscock of Downey, CA; Donna Maafala of Covina, CA; Debbie Nsa of Cerritos, CA; Sandra Fulmer of Bellflower, CA; 5 brother, 3 sisters, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Carol Sheffield officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Audrey’s name to the The City of Hope, 1055 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.

MAURICE JOSEPH “MARTY” MARTINEAU

July 26, 1926 – April 26, 2004

Marty Martineau, 77, passed away on April 26, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

His wife of over 30 years was at his side.

He was born on July 26, 1926 in Dracut, Mass to parents David and Corrine Martineau.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korean War.

He retired after 35 years with the V.A. Hospital in Palo Alto, CA.

Marty “Papa” was truly loved and will be greatly missed by his wife and the many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren he leaves behind.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.

Eugenia Rose Sykes (Jeanne) 84, died April 28, 2004 at Jasmine House of natural causes.

Born November 2, 1919 in San Francisco, California, she moved to Lake Havasu in 1978.

Jeanne was a former professional dancer and dance instructor.

Jeanne also was an Avon Cosmetics distributor who worked more than 25 years for the company.

Jeanne was a resident of Bisbee, Arizona for many years.

She later moved to Los Angeles where she went to High School.

Jeanne also lived in Palos Verdes, Anaheim, Mission Viejo, and California, before moving to Lake Havasu for retirement and to be close to her sister, Mary Anna Hosley.

Jeanne was a member of the Lake Havasu Bridge Days Costume Group and participated in many Lake Havasu City civic events.

Jeanne became a widow in 1993 when her husband of many years, Homer Melvin Sykes (Harry) passed away.

She is survived by her sons Donald George Price of Livermore, California, Larry Thomas Price of Loveland, Colorado and by her daughters Sharon Marie Moon of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Patricia Diane Alfvegren of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

She has 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, May 2, 2004 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating.

Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.

Tamara C. Boomer, 56, passed away April 28, 2004 in Parker, AZ.

She was born on July 14, 1948 in Loma Linda, CA.

Tamara has resided in Mesa, AZ for the past 34 years, part of the time she spent at her home in Parker.

For 3 years, she was a ranger for the Department of Forestry in Phoenix and she also worked for Federal Express for 16 years.

Tamara is survived by her husband Richard Boomer. She is the loving mother to Rick Johnson of Chandler, AZ, Jesse Robinson of Saratoga, FL, Rick Boomer of Phoenix, AZ and Cindy Boomer, also of Phoenix. She is also survived by her parents, James C. Rash of Kingman, AZ and Colleen L. Rash of Scottsdale, AZ; brother David J. Rash and his wife Pandy of Riverside, CA; aunts, Faye Williams and her husband Bob of Lake Havasu, Lou Reid and her husband Bill of Sun City West, AZ, Irene King and her husband Grady of Cove, AR; uncle, George Nelson and his wife Emma of Yuma, AZ.

To her dear friends, “your kindness will never be forgotten”: Patty Morrison of Parker Dam, AZ, Mary Lou Andrews of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Szmutko of Phoenix, AZ, Diane DeLorenzo of Texas and John Dietz of Colorado.

She will also be missed by her numerous cousins.

Tamara was preceded in by her grandparents, James and Olie Rash, George and Alma DeMoss; aunts, Milly Hoffmier, Rusty Nelson and Sue Olney; uncle, Lloyd Rash and Kenneth DeMoss.

Tamara never knew a stranger or turned away an animal.

She loved to fish and ski, and spent part of her life on the Colorado River.

She will be remembered always as our sweet who so loved life.

You will be the butterfly that lands on our shoulder.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations go in Tamara’s name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.

Dolores Josephine Blake, 73, passed away June 9, 2004 in Kingman, Arizona.

She was born to Joseph and Kathleen (Lukas) Zolkiewicz on March 26, 1931 in Waukegan, IL.

Dolores made Lake Havasu her home 9 years ago, moving from Milford, MA.

For 4 years she worked at K-Mart in Lake Havasu.

She was a member of the VFW Woman’s Auxiliary in W. Covina, CA.

Dolores will be dearly missed by her loving family, daughters, Melinda Francis and her husband Wayne of Lake Havasu, Susan Vaillancourt of Tucson, AZ; brother, Luis Zolkiewitz and his wife Marcia of Poway, CA; one nephew, Mark Zolkiewitz and his wife Marilyn of Escondido, CA, one niece, Sheri Buggeln and her husband Kenny, two great nieces, Kayla and Carolyn, one great nephew, Casey, all of Ramona, CA and one grandchild Heather Francis of Atascocita, TX.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 14, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.

Funeral and graveside services to be held Wednesday, June 16, 12:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.

The family requests donations be made in her name to Cancer Association of Havasu, 2126 McCulloch Blvd., Ste. 3, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
