Kevin Eugene Bounds

A funeral for Kevin Eugene Bounds, 45, of Suisun will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fairfield Funeral Home.

Pastor Robert Lewis will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Bounds died Feb. 28, 2000, in Suisun, a victim of a homicide.

Born Nov. 23, 1954, in Adrian, Mich., he lived in Suisun for six years. He worked as a boilermarker for Local No. 549 for 27 years. He was a member of Boilermakers Union No. 549 in Pittsburg.

Mr. Bounds is survived by his wife, Tina of Suisun; daughters, Amber, Jacque and Nicole, all of Elko, Nev., and Jenea of Redhouse, W.Va.; son, Jason of Avon Park, Fla.; stepdaughter, Christy Winters of Elko and Tara Cruz of Suisun; stepson, Jim Jr. of Las Vegas; parents, Jack and Nadine of Corry, Pa.; and brothers, Kirk of Tracy, Kent of Hillsboro, Ore., and Kelly of Corry.

Arrangements were made by Fairfield Funeral Home.

James E. Carpenter

A funeral for James E. Carpenter, 75, of Fairfield will be 2 p.m. Monday in Fairfield Funeral Home. Burial will be in San Joaquin Valley National.

Mr. Carpenter died March 1, 2000, in his home after a long illness.

Born June 30, 1924, in Richardsville, Okla., he lived in Fairfield for 22 years. He worked as a painter for Richmond Shipyard for 18 years, served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and artwork.

Mr. Carpenter is survived by his wife of 53 years, Zola of Fairfield; daughter, Carol Hammon of Pacheco; sons, Jerry and Wayne, both of Oklahoma, Ronald of Rodeo and James of Pinole; sisters, Crystal Benson of Texas and Geraldine Smith of Arizona; brother, Tom of Pinole; seven grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Fairfield Funeral Home.

Patricia Joy Enciso

A funeral for Patricia Joy Enciso, 57, of Vacaville will be noon Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dixon.

Bishop David McClellan will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.

Mrs. Enciso died on March 2, 2000, in VacaValley Hospital after a long illness.

Born on Dec. 9, 1942, in Monterey, she lived in Vacaville for the past 27 years. She had been a shade manufacturer for seven years with William Bolker & Co. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dixon.

Mrs. Enciso is survived by her husband, Joe of Vacaville; daughters, Monique Crawford of Victorville, Yvette Pablos of Vacaville, Regina Perez of Vacaville and Lisa Marie Enciso of Salinas; mother, Jeanne Wilson of Suisun City; brother, Don Wilson of Locust Grove, Okla.; and sisters, Laura Wilson of Oklahoma and Peggy Blush of Suisun City.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, North Bay Office, P.O. Box 844, Santa Rosa, 95402.

Faye F. Cresci

A funeral for Faye F. Cresci, 72, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Seventh-day Adventist Church of Fairfield.

Pastor John Lomacang will officiate. Interment will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. Cresci died on March 3, 2000, at her home in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born on Dec. 24, 1927, in Hollis, Okla., she lived in Fairfield for the past five years. She was a registered nurse who worked at St. Helena Sanitarium and Kaiser Permanente Hospital for 30 years before retiring in 1995 at St. Helena Sanitarium. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Fairfield. She loved to go camping and especially loved her garden.

Mrs. Cresci is survived by her husband, Thomas of Mill Valley; daughters, Marsha Tripplett of Fairfield and Shirley Butler of Yelm, Wash.; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Linda Butler of Napa; sister and brother-in-law, Orvetta and Claude Caldwell of Irving, Texas; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Stella Hunter of Sacramento and Kenneth Monte Hunter of Maryland. She also had 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Cody James Hall

Graveside services for Cody James Hall, 18 days, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Pastor Raleigh Galgan will officiate.

Cody died on Feb. 12, 2000, in Oakland after a short illness. He was born on Jan. 26, 2000, in Oakland.

Cody is survived by his mother, Michelle Marino of Vacaville; father, James of Sacramento; sisters, Amanda Marino, Amber Marino, Ashley Goodin and Jonet, all of Vacaville; brother, Charles of Vacaville; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Cecelia Goodin of Idaho; and paternal grandfather, James of Sacramento. He also had numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Luz M. Prado

A Catholic Prayer Service for Luz M. Prado, 43, of Vacaville will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at McCune Garden Chapel.

The Rev. William Feeser will officiate. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel.

Mrs. Prado died on March 3, 2000, in Vacaville after a brief illness.

Born on April 6, 1956, in Siuna, Nicaragua, she lived in Vacaville for the past 10 years. She worked for B.R.E. Property Inc. for five years.

Mrs. Prado is survived by her husband, Edmundo of Vacaville; daughters, Rita Nichol of Vacaville and Claudia, Maria, Luz, Gheizel and Rachel, all of Vacaville; sister and brother-in-law, Cecilia and Otte of Vacaville; sister, Socoro Woo of Nicaragua; and grandchildren, Darren Nichol and Aaron, Marrisa and Jade, all of Vacaville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Ruth Bradanini, 290 Fruitvale, Vacaville, 95688.

Rosalee Zimmerman

Private services for Rosalee Zimmerman, 88, of Fairfield will be held in Oroville.

Mrs. Zimmerman died on March 2, 2000, at Sunbridge Care Center in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born on Dec. 5, 1911, in Missouri, she lived in Fairfield for the past year. She worked as a domestic engineer at Kaiser Permanente Hospital for 10 years.

Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Betty Jean and David Bean of Vacaville; and great-granddaughter, Jessica Bean of Vacaville.

Arrangements are being handled by Napa Valley Memorial Park and Mortuary.

William E. Christopher

At his request, no formal services will be held for William E. Christopher, 70, of Vacaville. Burial will be private.

Born Nov. 15, 1929, in Braddock, Pa., Mr. Christopher died March 4, 2000, at David Grant Medical Center after a brief illness.

He worked at the Alameda Naval Air Station before retiring from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service. He was very devoted to his wife and was very kind and caring to his family and friends.

Mr. Christopher is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Eleanor of Vacaville; two sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, in care of Ruth Bradanini, 290 Fruitvale Road, Vacaville, 95688.

Howard F. Melrose

At his request, nor formal services will be held for Howard F. Melrose, 76, of Vacaville. Inurnment will be private.

Born March 26, 1923, in West Virginia, Mr. Melrose died March 3, 2000, in Vacaville.

He retired from the U.S. Navy after 24 years of service. After retiring, he went to work for Ball Metal Co. in Fairfield. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Vallejo and he loved fishing and spending time with his family.

Mr. Melrose is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Vacaville; daughter, Raejean Skelly of Redding; brother, J.R. Melrose of Willow Shores Wimauna, Fla.; sister, Cisley Somerville of Elizabeth, W.Va.; sisters, Betty Cox of Belpe, Ohio, Lillian Graham of Rootstown, Ohio, Bea Melrose of West Virginia and Sue Braucher of Freeden, Pa.; brother, Ken Melrose of Cuykoga Falls, Ohio; two grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.

Adam Pelphrey

A funeral for Adam Pelphrey, 26, of Vacaville will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the McCune Garden Chapel. Burial will follow in the Vacaville Elmira Cemetery.

Chaplain Keith Knauf will preside. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at McCune.

Born April 26, 1973, in Santa Ana, Mr. Pelphrey died March 3, 2000, in Berkeley after a sudden illness.

He worked for Mike Brown Electric as an electrician for four years and belonged to several hunting clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his car.

Mr. Pelphrey is survived by his wife, Jennifer of Vacaville; mother, Melinda of Orange County; and sister, Amy of Idaho.

Donald Jay Lowe

Graveside services for Donald Jay Lowe, 81, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. today at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

The Rev. Dan Hauck of Vacaville Christian Life Center will officiate.

Born Mar. 23, 1918, in Iowa, Mr. Lowe died March 4, 2000, in his Vacaville home after a long illness.

He moved to the area 18 years ago.

He worked as a human resource officer for Food Machinery Corp. for 32 years.

He is survived by his niece, Nancy Mabery of Simi Valley and nephew, Roger Hillegas of West Chester, Ohio.

Mary Adeline Richards

No funeral is planned for Mary Adeline Richards, 75, of Vacaville.

Interment will be private.

Born Aug. 4, 1924, in Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Richards died March 4, 2000, at the Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.

Prior to moving to Vacaville seven years ago, Mrs. Richards lived in Eureka and parts of Humboldt County for 20 years.

She was a homemaker her entire adult life.

She is survived by her daughters, Laura of Vacaville and Marjorie Grant of Carlotta; sons, John of Eureka, Robert of Rio Dell and Ben of Grass Valley; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lovell Richards Sr., and her children, Lawrence, Jean, Frank, Susan Routledge, and Tommy; grandchildren, Johnny, Tracey, Jessica and Kyle.

Victoria V. Agamau

A funeral for Victoria V. Agamau, 89, of Fairfield will be held at noon Friday in Fairmont Memorial Park Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday in Fairmont Memorial Park Chapel. Entombment will be in Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Agamau died March 6, 2000, in her home after a sudden illness.

Born Nov. 18, 1910, in Maui, Hawaii, she lived in Fairfield for 13 years. She worked for the Schlage Lock Co. as a machinist for 35 years.

Mrs. Agamau is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Waldine and Joe Richie of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Lucy Pagan and Ruben and Delores, all of Fremont, Frankie and Lori of Burlingame and Leroy and Tessie Conception of Vacaville; sons, Edward Dominguez of San Mateo and Harry Pagan and Gilbert Dominquez, both of Fairfield; sisters, Louise Monez of Honolulu and Elizabeth of Lanai, Hawaii; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
