Isabel Ruth Anderson

A funeral for Isabel Ruth Anderson, 61, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. Friday at True Love Baptist Church. The Rev. James Ray will officiate. Burial will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday at Solano Valley Mortuary with a quiet hour from 7 to 8 p.m. following.

Ms. Anderson died on Feb. 29, 2000, after a brief illness.

Born on Nov. 8, 1938, in Providence, R.I., she lived in Fairfield for the past nine years. She worked as a labatory clerk at NorthBay Medical Center for 15 years. She was a member of True Love Baptist Church.

Ms. Anderson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Loretta Williford; mother, Mildred L. Smith of Savannah, Ga.; sister, Joan Senna of East Providence, R.I.; grandfather, Charles Cooper of Providence; and grandchildren, Jamar, Neilla and Athena Willford, all of Stockton, and Angela Grasty of Oakland.

Shirley M. King

A funeral for Shirley M. King, 55, of Suisun will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Fairmont Memorial Park Chapel.

The Rev. Otis Cooper will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday in Fairmont Memorial Park. Entombment will be in Fairmont Memorial Park.

Ms. King died March 5, 2000, in Suisun after a long illness.

Born Feb. 10, 1945, in Yazoo City, Miss., she lived in Suisun for 30 years. She worked as a housekeeper at Best Western Motel for 10 years. A member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Yazoo City, she loved to read and shop.

Ms. King is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Master Sgt. (United States Air Force) Ronald Edington of Fairfield; sons, Mike of Vallejo and Leonard, Harvey and Tom, all of Suisun; mother, Hattie Moore of Suisun; sisters, Eva Moore and Pallie Moore, both of Fairfield; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Walter Smith of Fairfield; brothers, Arthur, Earnest Moore and John Moore, all of Suisun, and Steven Moore of Fairfield; and nine grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Samuel Belcher

There will be no services for Samuel Belcher, 78, of Vacaville.

Mr. Belcher died Feb. 27, 2000.

Born May 6, 1921, in South Carolina, he lived in Vacaville for 27 years. He served in World War II with the Army and was a mechanic for American Airlines for 18 years.

Mr. Belcher is survived by his wife of 58 years, Olivia of Vacaville; daughters, Joyce of Fairfield, Sandra of Pasadena and Gilda of Vallejo; son, Raymond of Vacaville; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by the Neptune Society of Northern California.

Patricia Fall

No birthdate available.

Graveside services for Patricia Fall, 70, of Fairfield will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Fall died March 5, 2000, in Port St. Joe, Fla., after a short illness.

Born in Missouri, Mrs. Fall was a homemaker and former apartment manager who also worked for many years in the nursing field.

Mrs. Fall is survived by her sons, Joseph of Fairfield and Stan of Port St. Joe; grandchildren, Jennifer and Staice, both of Fairfield, and Randall of Florida; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh of Fairfield; three sisters; and four brothers.

Arrangements were handled by Fairfield Funeral Home.

Mary 'Katy' Peck

A funeral for Mary 'Katy' Peck, 80, of Vacaville will be held at 2 p.m. today in McCune Garden Chapel. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Peck died March 5, 2000, in Santa Rosa.

Born Sept. 17, 1919, in Gumlog, Ark., she lived in Vacaville for 15 years. She retired from the Contra Costa School District after 20 years of service. She worked as a volunteer for the Leisure Town Community Center, Leukemia Society, American Cancer Society and Heart Association and was a dedicated homemaker.

Mrs. Peck is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Suzanne of Sacramento and Gary and Marilyn of Dixon; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Wayne Davis of Rohnert Park; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Irene Weimer of Vacaville and Jeanne DuVall of Denver.

Contributions may be made in Mrs. Peck's memory to the American Cancer Society, care of Ruth Bradanini, 290 Fruitvale Road, Vacaville, 95688.

Arrangements were handled by McCune Garden Chapel.

Tony James Aguilera

A memorial service for Tony James Aguilera, 71, of Winters will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Winters. Interment will be private.

Mr. Aguilera died on March 6, 2000, at Sutter Davis Hospital in Davis.

Born on May 7, 1928, in Vacaville, he was raised in Vacaville and graduated from Vacaville High School in 1946. During his high school years, he was captain of the basketball team and one of the school's star athletes.

Mr. Aguilera served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a past president of the Vacaville Eagles. He moved to Davis in 1963 and worked for Hunt-Wesson Foods Inc. in Davis for more than 30 years, retiring as a warehouse supervisor. He moved to Winters in 1998. He enjoyed golfing and many other sports.

Mr. Aguilera is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jeannette of Winters; daughters and sons-in-law, Lorette and Archie Constant and Rochelle and Charles Nicholson, all of Winters; son and daughter-in-law, David and Diane of Davis; daughter, Rosalynne of Vacaville; and grandchildren, Joshua of Marysville and Christina of Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, 95817.

Logan F. Fugate

There will be no formal services for Logan F. Fugate, 84, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mr. Fugate died March 3, 2000, in Sutter Davis Hospital after a long illness.

Born Feb. 4, 1916, in Bristol, Okla., he lived in Fairfield for 22 years. He worked as a laborer and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Fugate is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Fairfield; sons, Stanley and Calvin, both of Fairfield; grandchildren, Stephanie Rodriguez and Eric, both of Fresno, Calvin J. of Lodi and Dustin of Escalon; and great-grandchildren, Ariel, Christopher and Haley Rodriguez, all of Fresno.

Arrangements were handled by Fairfield Funeral Home.

Nellie H. Gould

There will be no services held for Nellie H. Gould, 90, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Gould died March 7, 2000, in Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo after a short illness.

Born Sept. 4, 1909, in Sacramento, she lived in Fairfield for 45 years. She worked as a secretary for the California Department of Motor Vehicles for 10 years.

Mrs. Gould is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Evelyn of Fairfield; grandson, Richard of Fairfield; granddaughter, Jennifer Tubbs of Corning; great-grandchildren, Brianna and Jacob Tubbs of Corning; and brother, Harry Heath of Sacramento.

Arrangements were handled by Fairfield Funeral Home.

Donald R. Hunter

A memorial celebration for Donald R. Hunter, 64, of Guinda will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Grange Hall in Guinda.

Mr. Hunter died on March 4, 2000, at his home in Guinda.

Born on March 27, 1935, he was a resident of Vacaville from 1986 to 1993 before moving to Guinda. He retired from United Airlines, was a member of the Western Yolo Grange No. 423 and had been active in the community since moving to Guinda. He enjoyed his family, his farm and restoring old farming equipment.

Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife, Trudie; stepchildren, Mellicia and Andrew; children, David, Randy, Kathy and Douglas; former wife, Connie of Vacaville; mother, Mae McClain Hunter; brother, Ken; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Patty and Dean and Girven; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Anthony Campoli; and sister, Joyce Bent. He also had seven grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Capay Valley Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 6, Brooks, 95606, or for his grandchildren's education fund, care of Trudie Hunter, P.O. Box 205, Guinda, 95637.

Robert Alan Isaacson

A memorial service for Robert Alan Isaacson, 57, of San Francisco will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Salvation Army ARC Chapel in San Francisco.

Mr. Isaacson died on Feb. 29, 2000, at his home in San Francisco after a brief illness.

Born on Aug. 4, 1942, in Wisconsin, he was the men's director of the Twelve Step Recovery Program through the Salvation Army in San Francisco and Solano County. He was an adherent of the Salvation Army and enjoyed bowling and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Twelve Step Programs, Salvation Army ARC S.F., 4049 Judah St., San Francisco, 94122.

Charlotte Ann Martin

A funeral for Charlotte Ann Martin, 50, of Travis Air Force Base will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Chaplain Jim Glass, captain in the U.S. Air Force, will officiate. Inurnment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Martin died March 7, 2000, in her home after a short illness.

Born Oct. 2, 1949, in Chico, she resided at Travis Air Force Base for two years. She worked for the state Board of Equalization for 22 years as a business machine operator.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Julie Nesbit of Travis Air Force Base; parents, Frank and Miriam Nesbit of Vacaville; sister, Janelle Watson of Antelope; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Tania Nesbit of Quincy; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to favorite charity.

James 'Jim' D. Pierson

Services for James 'Jim' D. Pierson, 60, of Fairfield will be private.

Mr. Pierson died March 3, 2000, in Fairfield.

Born July 17, 1939, in Russellville, Ark., he lived in Fairfield for 24 years. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1963, owned Golden West Electric Co. and was a member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Pierson is survived by his wife of 14 years, Caroline of Fairfield; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ted Fremouw of Vacaville; sons, John of Redding and Mark of Sacramento and mother, Nanette Smith of Sutter Creek; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Mae of Arkansas and Woody and Liv of Fairfield; and one grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Arrangements were made by Neptune Society of Northern California.

June Dolores 'Dee' Cappel Roberson

A private service will be held for June Dolores 'Dee' Cappel Roberson, 63, of Sparks, Nev. Inurnment will follow.

Mrs. Roberson died on March 4, 2000, at her home in Sparks.

Born on Jan. 15, 1937, in Pottsville, Pa., her family moved to Vacaville in 1942. She moved to Sparks in 1952. She was co-broker and co-owner of Tara Corp. and owned Roberson Realty.

Mrs. Roberson is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughters, DeVon and Micalyn of Sparks; mother, Evelyn Getreu of Vacaville; sister, Mary Cartas of Suisun; and brothers, Jesse R. Cappel and George E. Cappel, both of Vacaville, Robert T. Cappel Jr. of Placerville and Richard L. Cappel of Cheney, Wash. She also had three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
