Constance I. Galindo
A funeral for Constance I. Galindo, 80, of Dixon, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Dixon.
The Rev. Maurice O'Brien will preside. Burial will follow at the Silveyville Cemetery.
Mrs. Galindo died May 13, 2000, in Vallejo after a brief illness.
Born Nov. 10, 1919, in Walsonburg, Colo., she lived in Dixon for 53 years. She was a homemaker all of her life.
Mrs. Galindo was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Galindo is survived by her children, Francie Hays of Albion, Connie of Bethesda, Md., Hope Olson of Kirkland, Wash., Anne Kleeberger and her husband, Steve, Tom and his wife, Joy, Mike and his wife Sally, all of Dixon; sister, Stella Morales of Dixon; brother, Gregory Garcia of Texas; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Val and her daughter, Evelyn Burroughs.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday in Milton Carpenter Funeral Home, Dixon.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
Elizabeth V. Luxemburger
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated for Elizabeth V. Luxemburger, 96, of Fairfield at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The Rev. William Feeser will preside. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Luxemburger died May 13, 2000, in Laurel Creek Health Care in Paradise Valley after an extended illness.
Born June 11, 1903, in Ireland, she moved to Vacaville in 1988. She resided in Philadelphia before moving to Vacaville. She was a homemaker her adult life. She was known for her millinery collection and was easily identified in any social gathering by her hat.
She was very fashion conscious and always concerned with her appearance.
Mrs. Luxemburger is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Sue of Stone Mountain, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Ray Schoch of Vacaville; sister, Josephine Sheedy of Yeadon, Pa.; grandchildren, Glen Mitchell of Sacramento; Barbara Barnett and husband, Patrick of Cumming, Ga., Karen and James Orgeron of Woodstock, Ga., David and Kelli of McDonough, Ga.; numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception will follow the Mass at St. Mary's Parish Center.
Arrangements were handled by Nadeau Family Funeral Home.
Helen D. Smith
A funeral for Helen D. Smith, 85, of Fairfield will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Fairfield Funeral Home.
W.A. Burkey of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died May 15, 2000, in Windsor House Convalescent Hospital after a short illness.
Born Jan. 22, 1915, in Vance County, N.C., she lived in Fairfield for 40 years. She worked as a sales clerk for Woolworth's for 25 years. She also worked for a time at Baby News in Fairfield. She was an active member of Fairfield Moose Lodge.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Gerri Smith of Vacaville; grandchildren, Danny of Vacaville, Mark of Ripon, Linda Swanson of Charleston, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Chris, Mark and Doug of Vacaville and Michael and Emily Swanson of Charleston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a donor's favorite charity.
Carl E.E. Webber
A funeral for Carl E.E. Webber, 91, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Vaca Hills Chapel. Vic Jenkins and the Masonic organization will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Thursday at Vaca Hills Chapel.
Born Sept. 9, 1908, in Salem, Mass., Mr. Webber died May 14, 2000, at David Grant Medical Center.
Mr. Webber served in the United States Air Force from 1930 to 1969, earning a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
He was president of the Leisure Town Home Association and the Redwood Empire Wally Byam Caravan Club International. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa, Commonwealth Club and Knights Templar.
Mr. Webber is survived by his wife, Madeline of Vacaville; daughters, Martha T. Green of Yuba City and Sandra E. Olsen of Puyallup, Wash.; son, Carl Jr. of Copenhagen, Denmark; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made to Unity Church of the Valley.
Dr. Charles Jorden Gillooly Jr.
A memorial service for Dr. Charles Jorden Gillooly Jr., 59, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. David of Wales Church in Richmond. The Rev. Ron Atwood will officiate.
Dr. Gillooly died on May 14, 2000, at Mount Diablo Hospital.
A native of Chicago, he graduated form Seton Hall in New Jersey in 1964 and from the University of San Francisco in 1967. He was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society, Rho Rho Chapter in 1967. He was a past president of the Berkeley Dental Society from 1979 to 1980. He also taught biology and advanced math and was a track coach at Reardon High School in San Francisco. He had dental practices in El Cerrito and Fairfield for a total of 33 years. He also enjoyed reading, computers and sailing.
Dr. Gillooly is survived by his wife, Lisa Seely Gillooly; daughters, Laura of San Luis Obispo and Nicole Marie Cook of Arizona; son, Colin Charles of New York; mother, Frances of Oregon; sister, Judy St. Dennis of Sierra City; brothers, David of Indiana and Donald of Washington; grandsons, Reilly and Keegan Cook; and mother- and father-in-law, Glenna J. and David A. Seely of Kensington. He also had many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. David's Endowment Fund or the Diabetes Association.

Shirley Lewis
A funeral for Shirley Lewis, 63, of Vacaville will be 5 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, Napa.
Pastor Joseph Prudhomme will officiate. Private entombment will be at Tulocay Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis died May 14, 2000, in Vallejo after a lengthy illness.
Born July 7, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minn. She moved to Vallejo in 1954 and married Bobby Lewis. They lived in the Philippines in 1960-1961. They returned to Vallejo and lived there until 1971, when they moved to Napa. In 1997 they moved to Vacaville. Mrs. Lewis worked for the Napa Valley Unified School District for 14 years.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Bobby of Vacaville; son, Michael of Olathe, Kan.; daughters, Kimberly Peglow of Silverdale, Wash., Julie Codron of Napa and Kelly Avery of Fairfield; mother, Gladys Wilson of Vallejo; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Muriel Miller
A memorial service for Muriel Miller, 64, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Vaca Hills Chapel. Inurnment will be private.
Mrs. Miller died on May 16, 2000, at her home in Vacaville after a long illness.
Born on Oct. 3, 1935, in Maple Cross, England, she moved to the area 23 years ago. She was a homemaker for 40 years. She enjoyed taking trips, walking, crossword puzzles and gathering with friends. She brought joy and laughter to those around her.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter, Martina of Vallejo; grandson, Ray Charlie of Vallejo; and brother, Arthur Brownsell of Maple Cross, England. She also had several sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Chief Master Sgt. Charlie J.; sister, Audrey Redding; and brothers, Charlie, Anthony and Harold.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation and NorthBay Hospice.
Juan A. Salazar
A funeral for Juan A. Salazar, 95, of Vacaville will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. William Feeser will officiate. Burial will follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McCune Garden Chapel, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
Mr. Salazar died on May 14, 2000, in Vacaville after a sudden illness.
Born on July 28, 1904, in New Mexico, he lived in Vacaville for the past 36 years. He was a laborer and sheepherder all his life.
Mr. Salazar is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jose and Karen of Vacaville; son, Tony of Arizona; and grandchildren, JoAnn, Michael, Danny, Mary, Lorraine, Maria, David, Manuel, Tommy, Anthony, Tonya and Christopher, all of Vacaville. He also had 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Wycliffe G. Sweet
No services will be held for Wycliffe G. Sweet, 85, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be private at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland at a later date.
Mrs. Sweet died on May 15, 2000, in Fairfield after a long illness.
Born on Nov. 4, 1914, in Morriltown, Ark., she lived in Fairfield for the past year. She was a housewife for 65 years.
Mrs. Sweet is survived by her brother, Walter DeLong of Fairfield. She also had several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
Earl Leon Bandy
Memorial services for Earl Leon Bandy, 76, of Salyer will be 11 a.m. today at Pena Adobe Park. Pastor Joseph Lugo of First Baptist Church of Vacaville will officiate.
Inurnment will be at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Mr. Bandy died May 15, 2000, in the V.A. Hospital in Martinez following a long illness.
Mr. Bandy was born June 3, 1923, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Mr. Bandy moved to the area 51 years ago. He retired from C&H Sugar in Crockett in 1985 after 34 1/2 years. He was a veteran who was a POW with the 127th Division in World War II.
He loved to fish and hunt.
Mr. Bandy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wilma; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Linda of Vacaville, Johnny and Roxanna of Galt; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Gilbert Arambula of Vacaville; sister, Evangel Steel of Napa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Charles Jones of Woodlake, Barbara and Joe Cordoza of Elk Grove; brother, David of Hawaii; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Betty of Galt; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sandy Branson of Vacaville.
He also had 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Viola Lydia Blue
At her request, no formal services will be held for Viola Lydia Blue, 83, of Fairfield. Interment will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Blue died on May 18, 2000, at her home in Fairfield.
Born on May 12, 1917, in Steelville, Ill., she lived in Fairfield for the past 17 years. She worked for International Shoe in Chester, Ill., for 18 years until 1948. She then owned and operated Vi's Restaurant in Tampa, Fla., until 1965.
After moving to Fairfield, she worked as a chapel attendant at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home for 10 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Fairfield Senior Center.
Mrs. Blue is survived by her daughter, Dolly Weaver of Titusville, Fla.; sons, Leslie Wayne Decker of Palmetto, Fla., Carl Decker of Chester, Ill., and Louis Ray Decker of Titusville, Fla.; and son-in-law and daughter-in-law, Bill and Cindy Nelson of Fairfield. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judi Nelson, in 1988.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to NorthBay Hospice, 1200 B. Gale Wilson Blvd., Fairfield.

Hershel William Keith
Memorial services for Hershel William Keith, 72, of Vacaville was at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 18, in Vaca Hills Chapel.
Chaplain Homer of Travis Chapel Center officiated. Inurnment was in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Mr. Keith died May 13, 2000, in Colorado Springs, Colo., of a sudden illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1927, in Rector, Ark., he moved to the area 32 years ago. He was a thirty-year veteran in the military, retiring as a first sergeant for the 1901st Communication Squadron with the U.S. Air Force from 1978-1980. He was a member of the Air Force Association. He enjoyed his grandchildren and working with his roses in the garden.
Mr. Keith is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary of Vacaville; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Mary of Colorado Springs; Thomas and Janet of Germany; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Allen Bales of Fairfield; daughters, Cynthia Kawakami of San Diego and Cathy of Michigan; sister, Mary Graupmann of Ohio; sister-in-law, Carma Hall of Vacaville; brother-in-law, Raymond Hopper of Missouri; grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Rebecca, Patrick, Sophia, Jason, Katina, Stephanie, Alexis, Hillary, Michael and Holly; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Matthew and Brennan; numerous nieces and nephews.
