Glen Aubrey Bradley

A funeral for Glen Aubrey Bradley, 84, of Fairfield will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairmont Memorial Park. Inurnment will follow. A memorial will be held at 7 tonight at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Fairfield.

Mr. Bradley died Sept. 17, 2000, after a brief illness at David Grant Medical Center on Travis Air Force Base.

Born on June 6, 1916, in Rosebud, Ark., Mr. Bradley served 27 years in the U. S. Air Force as a supply specialist, retiring in 1970. He went on to serve seven years in the civil service at Yerba Buena Island, from which he retired in 1981.

A veteran of World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam wars, Mr. Bradley was also a pharmacy volunteer and a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Fairfield. He loved fishing, hunting and cooking, gardening and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; daughters, Rosie Baker and Anna Cooper, both of Fairfield; sons, Jim Bradley of Ada, Mich., and Roger Bradley of Granite Bay; sisters, Fern Powell of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mary Jane Ruhl, of Ardmore, Okla.; daughters-in-law Dr. Rita Biesen-Bradley of Granite Bay, and Kathy Bradley of Ada; sons-in-law Ted Baker and Fred Baker, both of Fairfield; as well as 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in honor of Mr. Bradley.

Arrangements are by Solano Mortuary.

Marc R. Goodfellow

A funeral for Marc R. Goodfellow, 59, of Garden Valley will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Dominic's Catholic Church of Colfax. Inurnment will be private. A rosary will be recited at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church.

Mr. Goodfellow died Sept. 15, 2000, in Sacramento after an 18-month battle with leukemia.

Born Aug. 18, 1941, in Sacramento, he moved to the Garden Valley area 20 years ago. He was self-employed as the owner of a muffler shop. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He was a loving father and friend to all and enjoyed rebuilding old cars, telling stories and living in "God's country."

Mr. Goodfellow is survived by his daughters, Cynthia of Dixon, Carol of Vacaville, Christie and Lisa of Cool; sister, Jean Marquez of Sacramento; and grandchildren, Craig, Brandon, Shawn, Jaymi, Kevyn, Nickole and Stevey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3105 Fite Circle, Suite 101, Sacramento, 95827.

Arrangements are being handled by Reichert's Funeral Services.

Vincetta Sanders

A funeral for Vincetta Sanders, 54, of Fairfield will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fairfield Funeral Home. Pastor Martin Bergstrom will officiate. Burial will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sanders died Sept. 19, 2000, at her home in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born April 2, 1946, in Fairfield, she graduated in 1964 from Armijo High School where she lettered in basketball. She was an avid bowler, loved fishing and being with her family. She worked as a cosmetologist at various locations, including Maxines and Lady of Fashion. She was the owner of The Silver Lining, which was at Fairfield Convalescent Home. She was a volunteer at Children's Home Society.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband, Richard of Fairfield; daughter, Jeanette of Fairfield; sons, Charles of Tracy and Robert of Fairfield; father, Leon Rooker of Fairfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Frema and Jim Byrd of Woodland; lifelong friend, Donna Bradshaw of Fairfield; and grandchildren, Kristian and Jamie Ramirez of Austin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gwen Kleincheckt, and mother, Retha Rooker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Hospice Home Care Department, 975 Sereno Drive, Vallejo, 94589-2485.

Malcolm Hyde Timm

A memorial service for Malcolm Hyde Timm, 92, of Dixon will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Dixon Community Church. Pastor Wes Nordman will preside.

Born Nov. 20, 1907, in Dixon, Mr. Timm died Sept. 19, 2000, at Vaca Valley Hospital after a long illness.

He was a life-long resident of Dixon who worked in farming until his retirement. Mr. Timm was an active member of the Dixon Community Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Mr. Timm is survived by his sister, Muriel Kelly of Rio Vista; brother, Marion of Vacaville; stepdaughter, Ina Warner of Sacramento; foster sons, Gene Weckler of Los Gatos and Robert Stalnaker of Gualala; close friends, Neal and Mary Rotteveel of Dixon; 10 grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie, his brother Robert and stepdaughter, Louise Miron.

Memorial contributions can be made to NorthBay Hospice, 1800 Pennsylvania Ave., Fairfield, 94533.

Arrangements are under the direction of Milton Carpenter Funeral Home.

Albert W. Carlock

At his request, no formal services will be held for Albert W. Carlock, 85, of Vacaville. Inurnment will be private.

Born Sept. 11, 1915, in Cedar Falls, Ark., Mr. Carlock died Sept. 18, 2000, in Vacaville after a long illness.

Mr. Carlock had been a resident of Vacaville since 1984. He was a member of IOOF and the Moose Lodge. He loved music and played the organ, guitar, violin, mandolin and banjo.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, LaVeeta of San Jose; daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Jimmy Potts of Vacaville; daughter, Irene McCarley of Vacaville; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Alma Strickland of Brinkley, Ark.; brother, L.C. of Little Rock, Ark.; stepchildren, Gayle Chadwick, Sara and Danny Kileen, all of San Jose and James and Barbara Richmond of Lafayette, Ore.; four stepgrandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association of Contra Costa-Solano, 105 Astrid Drive, Pleasant Hill, 94523.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel.

Jack Otis Graham

A memorial mass for Jack Otis Graham, 60, of Winters will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Epiphany Episcopal Church. A viewing will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Smiths Colonial Chapel in Winters.

Mr. Graham died Sept. 19, 2000, at his daughter's home in Winters.

Born Feb. 2, 1940, in Jasper, Ark., he was a lifelong resident of Winters. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a Green Beret from 1959 to 1964 and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked at American Home Foods from 1966 to 1998 as a production foreman and was a wonderful man with a heart full of warmth and honor. He enjoyed fishing, playing with his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a faithful fan of the 49ers since 1949.

Mr. Graham is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carol of Winters; son and daughter-in-law, John and Courtney of Winters; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Johnny of Winters; daughter, Caroline of Winters; grandchildren, Jack, Jessica and Eryn of Winters; sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Don Pack of Tennessee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Phil and Anita, Steve and Denise, Jimmy and Sherry all of Arkansas. He also has numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred, his mother, Geneva, and his brother, Tom.

Marjorie Florence King

A service for Marjorie Florence King, 80, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Alamo Drive in Vacaville. Interment will follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. King died Sept. 21, 2000, at Winsor House in Vacaville after a long illness.

Born April 11, 1920, in Portland, Ore., she was a homemaker all her adult life. She was a former member of the Saturday Club of Vacaville and also had done some modeling for the Style Center at the former Brigadoon. She enjoyed painting, baking and travelling throughout the world with her sister.

Mrs. King is survived by her sons, David of Vacaville, and Phillip of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Debbie of Vacaville; granddaughter, Janell of Vacaville; sister, Helen Byrnes of Reno, Nev.; and loving caregiver, Bertha Vigil Zomora of Vacaville. She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey, and her husband, Jack, who passed away last month.

Lota Lesta Amass

A memorial service for Lota Lesta Amass, 85, of Dixon will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dixon Community Church. Pastor Wesley Nordman will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Amass died Sept. 21, 2000, in Davis after a long illness.

Born in Murfreesboro, Ark., she lived in Dixon for the past 53 years. She worked as a school teacher with the Dixon Unified School District for 18 years before retiring. She taught the sixth and seventh grades. She belonged to the Dixon Community Church and loved travel, sewing and painting.

Mrs. Amass is survived by her husband of 53 years, Meredith of Dixon; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Melvin George of Davis; and grandchildren, Gregory and Elizabeth George, both of Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, Inc., or to Dixon Community Church, 955 E. A St., Dixon 95620.

Shirley Mae Dominguez

A Catholic service of remembrance for Shirley Mae Dominguez, 69, will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Nadeau Family Funeral Home. Father Benedict DeLeon will preside. Interment will be private.

Born Jan. 30, 1930 in Everett, Wash., Mrs. Dominguez died Sept. 21, 2000 at her home after a long illness.

Mrs. Dominguez was a waitress for 35 years, employed at various restaurants in Hayward and San Leandro. She was also an apartment manager for 10 years in Concord and had been in the accounting division of Chevron for 21 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Conrad of Vacaville; sons, Thomas Bush of Oregon and Jack Faria of Manteca; sisters, Barbara Hays of Springfield, Ore., Catherine Delvati of Concord, Susan Norton of Sonoma and Randi Goldstein of Vacaville; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Kaiser Hospice, 975 Seren Dr., Vallejo 94589 or the American Cancer Society, c/o Ruth Bradanini, 292 Fruitvale Ave., Vacaville 95688.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Nadeau Family Funeral Home.

Nancy M. Biancalana

A mass of Christian burial for Nancy M. Biancalana, 74, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Father Vincent O'Reilly will preside. Interment will follow at the Italian Cemetery in Colma. A visitation will be conducted 5-7 p.m. at McCune Garden Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 5 p.m.

Born July 23, 1926 in San Francisco, Mrs. Biancalana died Sept. 21, 2000.

She worked at the Joe's Westlake Restaurant of Daly City for 10 years before becoming co-owner of the Greenmill Inn in Cotati.

She volunteered to help Vacaville seniors prepare their tax returns, and loved reading, cross-stitching, baking and cooking. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Biancalana is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dario of Vacaville; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and W.L. Brown of Antioch; sisters-in-law, Judy of Foster City and Kaye of Roseville. She was the beloved aunt, great-aunt ad great-great-aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nina Cook.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph's Building Fund, 1781 Marshall Rd., Vacaville 95688.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel.

Lawrence N. Freeman

A memorial service for Lawrence N. Freeman, 57, of Fairfield, will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Bryan-Baker Funeral Home, 1850 West Texas St., Fairfield.

Chaplain Jimmy Sanders will preside. Interment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park in Fairfield.

Mr. Freeman died at his home Sept. 20, 2000, following a short illness.

Born April 25, 1943, in Fairfield, he worked as a laborer in the trucking industry for a number of years.

Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife, Penny Ann of Fairfield; son and daughter-in law, Shanon and Ann of Suisun; mother, Georgia Foster of Mesa, Ariz.; and five sisters and two brothers.

Frederick C. Hoff

Funeral services for Frederick C. Hoff, 82, of Vacaville, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in McCune Garden Chapel.

Pastor Thomas Garnhart will preside. Interment will follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mr. Hoff died Sept. 20, 2000.

Born Nov. 5, 1917 in St. Paul, Minn., he lived in Vacaville since 1955. He worked for Basic Vegetables as a Chief Engineer for 27 years before retiring. Prior to that he served in the Navy in both WWII and Korea. He was a member of the California Society of Professional Engineers.

Mr. Hoff is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor 'Hettie' of Vacaville; sons, David of Upland and Douglas of Vacaville; daughter, Laura Hoff Alexakis of Santa Monica; sisters, Virginia Doring of Arcadia and Eleanor Chilcott of Mesa, Ariz.; granddaughter, Erica Alexakis of Santa Monica; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCune Garden Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Hoff's memory to the American Cancer Society; c/o Ruth Bradanini, 290 Fruitvale, Vacaville 95688.

Odell Caldwell

A funeral for Odell Caldwell, 62, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Interment will be at Suisun Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Caldwell died Sept. 20, 2000, in Vallejo after a brief illness.

Born Nov. 16, 1937, in Shreveport, La., she lived in Fairfield for four years.

She attended San Bernardino Junior College and the University of California, Santa Barbara. She was a psychiatric technician at Patton State Hospital in Highland for 32 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and reading.

Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her former husband, Howard of San Bernardino; daughters, Cynthia of Highland and Wanda of Rialto; son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Denise of Moreno Valley; sister and brother-in-law, Adell and Melvin Pittman of Fairfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Autherine Jones of San Francisco, and Clyde and Carolyn Jones of Fairfield; and mother, Annie Mae Pugh of Fairfield. She also has five grandchildren.
