Beverly Ann Boyd

A memorial service for Beverly Ann Boyd, 44, of Suisun City, will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Solano Christian Fellowship church.

Pastor John Booker will officiate. Inurnment will be private in Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Boyd died Nov. 2, 2000, in Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa after a long illness.

Born July 10, 1956, in Camp Pendleton, she lived in Suisun City for 10 years. She earned an associate of arts degree in psychiatric technology. She worked as a psychiatric technician at Fairview State Hospital until moving to Northern California to begin work at Napa State Hospital in 1976.

Mrs. Boyd worked at both Napa and Sonoma state hospitals with the developmentally disabled until 1993. She belonged to Moving On, a cancer support group, and was a member of the Solano Christian Fellowship church in Fairfield. She enjoyed collecting souvenirs.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her husband, Dennis C. of Suisun City; a daughter, Brittany Ann of Suisun City; sons, Bryan Dennis and Bradley Alan, both of Suisun; her mother, Arlene Williams of New Albany, Miss.; her father and stepmother, Dale W. and Jeri S. Peterson of Gardnerville, N.Y.; her grandparents, Dorothy and Joe Lamb of Berkeley; sisters, Colleen Land of Vista and Andrea Peterson of Portland, Ore.; a brother, Ward Peterson of Federal Way, Wash.; and a cousin, Deborah Wolfe of Fairfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marti Nelson Cancer Research, 607 Elmira Road, No. 331, Vacaville, 95687.

Arrangements were Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

W.T. 'Mac' McGraw

Services for W.T. "Mac" McGraw, 91, were held Oct. 13 in Ventura.

A Fairfield native, he died Oct. 8, 2000, in a Ventura convalescent home after a brief illness.

Born July 19, 1909, in Parker, Kan., he worked in the California oil fields for 50 years and was a resident of Ventura County for 51 years. He owned and operated Hampton Tool Co. Inc. for 22 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of Poinsettia Lodge No. 633, F.& A.M. and Moose Lodge No. 1394, and was a lifetime member of the Al Malikah Shriners and the Scottish Rite.

Mr. McGraw is survived by his companion, Louise Gentry of Oxnard; a son, William J. of Vacaville; a daughter, Lenora Dodini of Suisun City; a sister, Ruby Croan of Kansas; grandsons, Steve and Mark Dodini of Suisun, and Kenny and Billy of Ventura; granddaughters, Cathie Chalk and Denise Modar of Vacaville, Monica Turner of Fairfield, Shawna Riley and Leanne Fitchie of Vacaville, and Susan McGraw and Dawn Emery of Ventura.

He also has 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Margaret, in 1974 and by his son, John, in 1999.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Masonic Homes of California, 1111 California St., San Francisco, 94108, or to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3160 Geneva, Los Angeles, 90020.

Lewis R. Rosa

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lewis R. Rosa, 75, of Dixon will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Dixon.

The Rev. Maurice O'Brien will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in Milton Carpenter Funeral Home.

Mr. Rosa died Nov. 5, 2000, in Davis after a brief illness.

Born Aug. 24, 1925, in Stockton, he lived in Dixon for more than 60 years. He graduated from Dixon High School in 1943 and worked for Basic Vegetable for 30 years as the manager of the accounting department. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Group of Dixon. He enjoyed gardening, genealogy and was an active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Mr. Rosa is survived by his sister, Anne Crow of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and a brother, Edward of Woodland. He also has nine nieces and nephews, 13 great-nieces and great-nephews, and seven great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, Redwood Empire Region, P.O. Box 844, Santa Rosa, 95402.

Dr. Robert R. Livingston

At his request, there will be no services held for Dr. Robert R. Livingston, 87, of Fairfield. Interment will be in Fairmont Memorial Park.

Dr. Livingston died Nov. 2, 2000 in Fairfield after a short illness.

Born Dec. 2, 1912 in Plattsmouth, Neb., he lived in Fairfield for 19 months. He graduated from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine at Omaha in 1936. During the war he practiced in Glenwood Springs, Colo., he also practiced medicine in Plattsmouth, Neb. He resided in Vallejo from 1967 to 1999. He served with the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942 to 1946 with the rank of Major.

Mr. Livingston is survived by his nieces, Michele Marra of Venice and Anne Karl of Dallas, Texas; dear friend, Sundria Stanton of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 1985 and his sister, Nora Scott Jenkins in 1991.

Arrangements were handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Sam 'Augustin' Sanysidro

A memorial service for Sam 'Augustin' Sanysidro, 63, of Vacaville was held Saturday.

Mr. Sanysidro died Oct. 30, 2000 in Elk Grove following a short illness.

Born Sept. 17, 1937, in New York, he joined the U.S. Air Force and was last stationed at Travis Air Force Base. He excelled at George Westinghouse Technical School and graduated as a journeyman carpenter. He lived in El Cerrito and attended Western Baptist Bible College for several years. He was one of the carpenters who built Orchard Avenue Baptist Church, working full time on it after leaving the Air Force.

Mr. Sanysidro is survived by his wife, Sarah; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Ellen; granddaughters, Brook, Bethany, Britnai, Bailey and Bonnie Kate, and Alisa of Minnesota; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Rachel of Minnesota; and former wife, Pat Freeman of Vacaville. He also has four stepsons and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Nathanael in 1987 and Timothy in 1984.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Orchard Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund.

Faith Beckwith

Services for Faith Beckwith of Stockton were held Oct. 30. Interment was at French Camp Cemetery.

Mrs. Beckwith died Oct. 24, 2000, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.

Born in Hartford, Conn., she lived in Stockton for 23 years. She was owner and operator of At Your Service Resumes and was a notary public. She was a member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Mothers of Twins, the Women's Success Group, and Bridges Family Counseling. She was also a member of Rhythm and Boots Dance Company, Harley owners organization, HOG. She was a 10-year breast cancer survivor.

Mrs. Beckwith is survived by her husband, Jerry Gass of Stockton; children, Ken Havens of Manteca, Anthony Decko, Michael and Matthew, all of Stockton, Lance of Lodi, and Wendy Gass and Jerry Gass, both of Modesto; mother, Phyllis Bieglow of Vacaville; and sisters, Grace Schick of Sacramento, Hope Nemie of Lodi and Jodi Johnson of Stockton. She also has 15 grandchildren.

Lucille Mimes Small

Graveside services for Lucille Mimes Small, 85, of Vacaville will be 1 p.m. Monday at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. Pastor Bud Jones will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCune Garden Chapel.

Mrs. Small died Nov. 1, 2000, in Vallejo.

She was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Natchitoches, La. She was employed by United Airlines in San Francisco for 20 years. She was also a member of the Vaca Valley Christian Life Center.

Mrs. Small is survived by her daughter, Julia Davis of Powhatan, La.; son, Alfred Owens of Pomona; grandchildren and their spouses, Emma Davis and Eddie Hawkins of San Francisco, Dorothy and Greg Hymes, Velma and Marvin Jones, and Javan and Gary Davis, all of Chicago, Roy and Marlin Davis of Tampa, Fla., Tommy and Joyce Davis of Natchitoches, and Willie Lee and Jacqueline Davis of Powhatan; and sister, Pearl H. Payne of Natchitoches. She also has many great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal.

Kenneth Sybyst

A memorial service for Kenneth Sybyst, 63, of Fairfield will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Stan Sanderson will officiate. Inurnment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mr. Sybyst died Nov. 1, 2000, in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born March 9, 1937, in Chicago, he lived in Fairfield for the past 27 years. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as an airlift control planner before retiring in 1976. He then went to work at Anheuser Busch as a quality control supervisor, where he retired in 1993. He loved fishing, camping and golf. He also enjoyed photography and music.

Mr. Sybyst is survived by wife, Marie of Fairfield; daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Terry Gillenwater of Suisun; and grandchildren, Heather Townsend, Terry C. Gillenwater Jr. and Beau Gillenwater, all of Suisun. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Walter G. Horst

A memorial service for Walter G. Horst, 76, of Pahrump, Nev., will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield. Inurnment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mr. Horst died Nov. 8, 2000, in Pahrump.

Born Aug. 24, 1932, in Butte, Neb., he served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1946. After the Army, he was a firefighter at Travis Air Force Base before retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Moose Lodge, and was active in the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Mr. Horst is survived by his loving wife, Florence (Penny) of Pahrump; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharyn and Greg Metzger of Fairfield, and Colleen and Scott Zimmerman of Oregon City, Ore.; sons and daughters-in-law, Walter (Gene) and Sally of Vacaville, Anthony and Mary of Milwaukie, Ore., and James and Angie of Oregon City, Ore.; and son, Gerald of Winnemucca, Nev. He also has 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Eleanor M. Rossini

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Eleanor M. Rossini, 86, of Vacaville, at 11:15 a.m. Monday in the Epiphany Catholic Church, 827 Vienna St., San Francisco. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.

Mrs. Rossini died Nov. 9, 2000, in Vacaville.

Born May 24, 1914, in California, she lived in Vacaville for the past two years, prior to that she lived in San Francisco for 65 years. She worked as a secretary for Bank of America for 15 years. She was past president of the Ladies Build at the Epiphany Church. She enjoyed bowling and sewing.

Mrs. Rossini is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eugene J. and Margaret S. of Hornbrook; daughter, Barbara C. Bacsvany of Dixon; daughter-in-law, Sandra of San Jose; grandchildren, Karen Kapolnek of Sunnyvale, Raymond of San Jose, Lorraine Bolster of Sunnyvale, Maureen Holmes of Marysville, Wash.; Vincent of Camano Island, Wash., Valerie Egleston of Marysville, Wash., Susan Holderbein of Chico, Trish Bacsvany of El Dorado Hills; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gino A. Rossini and a son, Ronald A. Rossini.

There will be a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Milton Carpenter Funeral Home in Dixon.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Rossini's memory to the Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California, P.O. Box 1824, Sacramento 85812.

Louis Joseph Rouleau, Jr.

Private services will be held for Louis Joseph Rouleau, Jr., of Vacaville.

Mr. Rouleau died Nov. 7, 2000 in Sacramento after a long illness.

Born Feb. 8, 1924 in Boston, Mass., he resided in Dixon. He was a veteran of World War II serving as a fighter pilot in the 355th fighter group in the Army Air Corps. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1947 attaining the rank of Captain. He graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1954 and was an inspector for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms before retiring in 1978.

Mr. Rouleau is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Maureen and Andy Leach of San Jose; daughter, Maryclare Margherone and granddaughters, Julie and Jenny Margherone of Carmichael; son and daughter-in-law, John and Julie and granddaughters, Sarah and Hannah of Dixon, Annemarie of Elk Grove and Shannon of Chandler, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nancy of Scituate, Mass.; sister, Joan of South Salem, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Clare G. in August 2000, a daughter, Anne Marie in June 1971, sister, Patricia Mahoney in 1998.

Arrangements were handled by Sierra View Funeral Chapel, Carmichael.

Otha Sapp

A funeral service for Otha Sapp, 81, of Fairfield/Vallejo will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Friendship Baptist Church.

The Rev. Joseph Flowers will officiate. Burial will be in Suisun Fairfield Cemetery.

Mr. Sapp died Nov. 6, 2000, after a brief illness.

Born Oct. 19, 1919, in Louisiana, he resided in Fairfield/Vallejo. He retired in Education.

Mr. Sapp is survived by his widow; daughter, Beverly of Fairfield; sons, Ben and Adges of Fairfield; sister, Idell Gray of Oakgrove, LA.; brother, Leon Allen of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in Solano Valley Mortuary.

Barbara Jo Bowes

Visitation services for Barbara Jo Bowes, 54, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home. A funeral will be held in Boone, Iowa.

Mrs. Bowes died Nov. 11, 2000, in Vacaville after a long illness.

She served as a personnel specialist in the U.S. Army for three years until 1966. She also served as the city clerk in Wood heights, Mo., in 1988. After moving to Vacaville, she was employed by WalMart in 1989, where she was the personnel manager until March 1999.

Mrs. Bowes is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steven of Vacaville; daughters, Kimberly J. Bowes-Cowart and Kelli L. Trueblood of Vacaville; mother, Jeanette Gutteridge of Boone, Iowa; sister, Linda Nohe of Leawood, Kan.; brother-in-law, James Gutteridge of Boone, Iowa; and grandchildren, Kevin Cowart Jr. of St. Charles, Mo., Kortni and Kirstin Cowart of Camdenton, Mo., and Steven and Jessica Trueblood of Vacaville.
