Yvonne Zelda Cameron-Huckaby

A Mass of Christian Burial for Yvonne Zelda Cameron-Huckaby, 69, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. today at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Downey will officiate. Burial will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Cameron-Huckaby died Nov. 22, 2000, in NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born Aug. 28, 1931, in Mansfield, Ohio, she lived in Fairfield for the past 32 years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Cameron-Huckaby is survived by her husband, Reubin of Fairfield; son, Robert W. Cameron of Fairfield; grandchildren, Lance Cameron of San Diego, Nadia Cameron of Tennessee, and Dominic Cameron and Mikala Mitchell, both of Fairfield. She also has one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carman Cameron-Mitchell.

Arrangements are being handled by Solano Valley Mortuary.

Shirley Ann Ramirez

A visitation for Shirley Ann Ramirez, 65, of San Pablo will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Wilson & Kratzer Mortuaries. A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. today. The Liturgy will be said at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in San Pablo.

Born Oct. 27, 1935, in Alden, Mich., Mrs. Ramirez died Nov. 27, 2000, in Richmond.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Reno.

Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her husband of 44 years, Emil; daughters, Pamela and Linda, both of Vacaville; sons, Robbie of Vacaville and Emil of Crockett; sister, Patricia Dias of Michigan; brothers, Richard Parks of Clear Lake, Robert Parks of San Pablo and James Parks of Richmond; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society, West Contra Costa Unit, 2000 Vale Road, San Pablo, 94806.

Philip A. Caballes

A funeral for Philip A. Caballes, 90, of Dixon, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Milton Carpenter Funeral Home. Interment is set for 1 p.m. Monday at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery in Santa Clara.

Mr. Caballes died Nov. 28, 2000, in Davis.

Born April 20, 1910 in Cebu, the Philippines, he resided in Dixon for three years and 40 years in Santa Clara. He retired after 25 years with the city of San Jose as an equipment operator. He was a member of the Dixon Seniors Club. He also enjoyed fishing.

Mr. Caballes is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat; daughters, Char Bragg of Calistoga and Karen Murray of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, John Bragg of Oakville, Colleen Bragg of Calistoga, Jeremy and his wife, Nicole Barret of Dixon, Morgan and his wife, Faith Barrett of New Jersey.

Visitation will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m. in Milton Carpenter Funeral Home.

Jennie Ciruso

Services for Jennie Ciruso, 85, of Fairfield will be private.

Mrs. Ciruso died Nov. 17, 2000 after a long illness.

Born in Pennsylvania, she was a resident of Fairfield for 11 years and of Upland and Ontario for 35 years. She was a licensed vocational nurse for many years. She loved music and dancing and was a crochet artisan.

Mrs. Ciruso is survived by her daughter, Marilyn of Fairfield; son, Paul of Lancaster; granddaughters, Maureen and Charlene of Fairfield; great-grandson, Kyle of Fairfield; siblings, Tony Colosimo of Bentleyville, Pa., Joseph Colosimo of West Newton, Pa., Eleanor Colosimo of Monesson, Pa. and Wilhelmina Dempsey of Fontana.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements were handled by Neptune Society, Fairfield.

Mary Edith Castleman

A graveside service for Mary Edith Castleman, 92, of Fairfield will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Suisun Fairfield Cemetery. Interment will follow. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fairmont Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Castleman died Dec. 1, 2000, in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born March 1, 1908, in Lawrence, Kan., she lived in Fairfield for the past 23 years. She was a homemaker for 47 years and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Castleman is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and William Housh of Fairfield; grandson and his wife, Michael and Dette Housh of Fairfield; great-granddaughter, Rachael Housh of Fairfield; and great-grandsons, Kevin and Brett Housh of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer, in 1980.

Arrangements are being handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Kenneth Darrell Foutz

Private family services will be held for Kenneth Darrell Foutz, 70, of Vacaville.

Mr. Foutz died Nov. 29, 2000, at Rideot Memorial Hospital in Marysville.

Born Nov. 30, 1929, in Salt Lake City, he lived in Vacaville for the past 26 years. He was a retired chief yeoman with the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Foutz is survived by his wife, Evelyn of Vacaville; daughters, Cecilia of Vallejo and Vandy of Yuba City; brothers, Marion and James, both of Sacramento; and sisters, Hazel Halcomb of San Antonio, Texas, and Ruth Hunziker of Fresno. He also has one grandson and one great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are being handled by Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.

Irva Eleanor Milligan

A funeral for Irva Eleanor Milligan, 82, of Dixon will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home. The Rev. Catherine Morris will officiate. Burial will follow at Silveyville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home before the service.

Mrs. Milligan died Nov. 30, 2000, in Dixon.

Born Aug. 29, 1918, in Hudson Falls, N.Y., she lived in Dixon and Solano County for the past 27 years. She was a homemaker for 53 years. She enjoyed gardening, writing, travelling and camping.

Mrs. Milligan is survived by her husband, Morgan B. of Dixon; sons, Joseph of Riverside, and John of Fresno; and daughters, Barbara Underwood of Illinois, Julia King of Paradise, Laura Conway of Rancho Cordova, and Martha Hll of Paradise. She also has 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Lillie Velma Nelson

Private family services will be held for Lillie Velma Nelson, 92, of Vacaville. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Nelson died Nov. 27, 2000, in Vacaville after a sudden illness.

Born Aug. 28, 1908, in Texas, she lived in Vacaville for the past three years after having lived in Gridley. She worked in the retail industry all her life. She enjoyed going to Reno, knitting, and crocheting.

Mrs. Nelson is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Alice of Railroad Flats, and Bobby and Marge of Redding; daughter, Lillian Stalcup of Vacaville; grandson and his wife, Stephen and Lorny Stalcup of Vacaville; granddaughter, Karen Stalcup of Vacaville; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Lee Stalcup and Kevin Stalcup, both of Vacaville.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Kaiser Hospice, 975 Sereno Drive., Vallejo 94589.

Arrangements are being handled by McCune Garden Chapel.

Elizabeth M. Schmidt

A funeral for Elizabeth M. Schmidt, 95, of Arkansas will be 10 a.m. Monday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. The Rev. Stewart Drake will officiate. Disposition will be at Suisun Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Schmidt died Nov. 27, 2000, in Clarksville, Ark., after a long illness.

Born Nov. 25, 1905, in Anne Aroundale County, Md., she lived in Arkansas for the past 13 years after having lived in Fairfield from 1979 to 1987. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her daughters, Jennie Westfall of Adams, Wis., Gloria Scott of Hanover Park, Ill., Victoria Freeman of Richmond, Ill., Patricia Madden of Chicago, Elizabeth Madden of Elkins, Ark., Dorothy Madden of Chicago, and Katherine Adamson of Indiana; and son, Sonny Bernard of Coal Hiil, Ark. She also has 50 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren ad 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Wyleah Rose Walcott

A funeral for 3-month-old Wyleah Rose Walcott of Fairfield will be 1 p.m. Monday at Suisun Fairfield Cemetery. Interment will follow.

Wyleah Rose died Nov. 24, 2000, in Oakland after a short illness.

Born Aug. 2, 2000, she lived in Fairfield with all her family.

Wyleah Rose is survived by her parents, Bruce and Ruth, both of Fairfield; brothers, William, Waylon, Wylee and Wayne, all of Fairfield; and grandparents, Oliver and Sue of Fairfield, and Dave and Katsuko Pruden of Fairfield.

Arrangements are being handled by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Loretta Woodall

A memorial service for Loretta Woodall, 57, of Fairfield will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Mission Solano in Fairfield. Robert Lewis will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Woodall died Nov. 30, 2000, at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born July 17, 1943, in Oakland, she lived in Fairfield for the past four years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Woodall is survived by her fiancee, Bob Croten of Fairfield; daughters, Leann Woodall of Hayward, and Stephanie Croten of Fairfield; son, Dale Woodall of Fairfield; and sisters, Shirley Baker of Fairfield. She also has two grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Fairfield Funeral Home.

Tomas Agustin Ortega

A Mass of Christian Burial for Tomas Agustin Ortega, 84, of Suisun City will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Solano Valley Mortuary in Fairfield. Burial will be at the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mr. Ortega died Nov. 29, 2000, after a long illness.

Born Feb. 27, 1916, in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico, he lived in Suisun for six years. He was an agricultural worker and a self-employed metal vendor since 1992.

Mr. Ortega is survived by his wife, Maria Eladia of Suisun City, and sister Felisa Ortega and brother Francisco Ortega of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

Visitation will be today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Solano Valley Mortuary.

Michelle Porter

A memorial service for Michelle Porter, 49, of Vacaville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Vaca Hills Chapel. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Porter died Dec. 1, 2000, in Vacaville.

Born Jan. 16, 1951, in Vallejo, she lived in Vacaville for the past two years. She enjoyed many craft-like hobbies which included floral decoration, painting, and artistic wood displays. She always took care of those who were not able to take care of themselves with food, her time, or a conversation. She loved visiting with her grandchildren and teaching them crafts and how to bake cookies.

Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband, Norman of Vacaville; son, Billy Martin of Vacaville; daughters, Tammy Kopp and Lisa Tell, both of Sacramento, Terri Porter and Lorri Brinkerhoff, both of Benicia; mother and father, Rubin and Ernestine Taylor of Vacaville; sisters, Judy Carter of Salt Lake City, Patti Ivanich of Monterey, Roxanne Barham of Vacaville; brother, Noral Brown of Missouri; and, nine grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Vaca Hills Chapel Funeral Home.

Caroline Frances Kraft

A memorial service for Caroline Frances Kraft, 96, of Vacaville will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Leisure Town Home Association building at 100 Sequoia Drive. Stan Sanderson will officiate. Interment will be at Lower Lake Cemetery in Lower Lake at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Kraft died Dec. 4, 2000, at VacaValley Hospital.

Born Oct. 8, 1904, in Illinois, she lived in Vacaville for the past 11 years after having lived in Lower Lake. She worked for Kemper Insurance Company for 15 years before retiring. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Auxiliary 2337, in Clear Lake. Her hobby was making Afghans for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Kraft is survived by her son, Herman A. of Vacaville; daughter, Marie McGrath of Subletle, Ill.; and grandson, Henry of Walnut Creek. She also has seven other grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Diabetes Society of Solano County, 817 Missouri St., Suite 4, Fairfield, 94533.
