Mrs. Viliborghi was a native of Phoenix. She lived in Modesto five years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Viliborghi of Modesto and Piyanka Babhshi of Westwood; mother, Barbara Adams of Modesto; brothers, Wayne Whitefield of Hughson and Paul Adams of Modesto; and grandparents, L.A. and Ruby Whitfield of Hughson.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson.
Richard H. Whitman

Richard Henry Whitman, 52, of Hughson died Sunday at Memorial Medical Center, Modesto.
Mr. Whitman was a native of Garden City, Kan. He lived in Hughson six months and previously lived in Lodi. He was a 30-year employee of Toro Co.; he was an equipment salesman.
He is survived by his son, Alex Whitman of Stanwood, Wash.; mother, Donna L. Whitman of Escalon; and brothers, Randy Whitman of Kingwood, Texas, Ron Whitman of Gustine and Bob Whitman of Somerset, Ky.
A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Hills Ferry Cemetery, Newman. Eaton Family Funeral & Cremation Service, Modesto, in charge of arrangements.

Darrel L. Woodside

Darrel Leo Woodside, 57, of Modesto died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center.
Mr. Woodside was a native of San Francisco. He lived in Modesto one year. He was a 30-year employee of Pacific Bell; he was a splicing technician. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 454. He was a Navy veteran, serving from 1963 to 1967.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Ann Woodside of Modesto; children, Darele Lee Woodside and John Richard Woodside, both of San Bruno; stepchildren, Wallace Christensen of San Jose, and Todd Christensen, Jack Christensen and Dennis Christensen, all of Fargo, N.D.; mother, Emma Barbara Tyler of Daly City; sister, Mary Lee Smith of Mission Viejo; and 11 stepgrandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.

Claudia R. Kole

Claudia Rae Kole, 53, of Modesto died Friday at her home.
Mrs. Kole was a native of Sacramento. She had lived in Modesto since 1958. She worked in retail sales at the Modesto Toy Shop. She was a member of Jobs Daughters, Sacramento.
She is survived by her children, Chris Kole and Lori Kole, both of Modesto; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel.

Jagjit K. Singh

Jagjit Kaur Singh, 46, of Turlock died Saturday at Emanuel Medical Center.
Mrs. Singh was a native of Fiji. She lived in Turlock six years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Harri Singh of Turlock; children, Parnesh Singh and Komal Preet Kaur, both of Turlock, and Kamlesh Kaur Singh of Fiji; mother, Chint Kaur of Turlock; brothers, Ranjander Singh and Harjeet Singh, both of Fiji, Gulbir Singh, Jasmir Singh and Saranjit Singh, all of Turlock; and sisters, Sarjit Kaur and Surmendar Kaur, both of Turlock, Harmeet Kaur of Fiji and Amarjeet Kaur of Sacramento.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Allen Mortuary. Private inurnment.
Abslom S. Baxter

Abslom Scott "Sonney" Baxter, 70, of Modesto died Friday at his home.
Mr. Baxter was a native of Healdy, Texas. He lived in Modesto 28 years. He was a production employee with Tri Valley #7 for six years.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Baxter of Modesto; children, Iva Flath, Sabrina Thompson and Wynona Baxter, all of Modesto, Renee Baxter of Oklahoma and Mary Moncayo of Ceres; brother, Albert W. Baxter of Ceres; sisters, Ruby Wheller of Ceres, Nancy Savage of Modesto and Mary Lee Helobert of Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Eaton Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marie Scott Brackett, 95, of Modesto died Friday at her home.
Mrs. Brackett was a native of Farmington, Iowa. She lived in Modesto 18 years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Charles Brackett of Reno, Thomas Brackett of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Diane Billington of Modesto; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Chapel at South East Lawn Memorial Park, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove. Private burial. The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs in charge of arrangements.
Matthew M. Castro Jr.

Matthew Machado Castro Jr., 82, of Gustine died Thursday at his home.
Mr. Castro was a native of Patterson. He lived in Gustine 82 years. He was a self-employed cattle buyer for 30 years. He owned and operated Westside Auction Yard in Newman 25 years. He attended Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church. He was a member of the OLM Society and twice president of the OLM celebration.
He is survived by his wife, Isabella Castro of Gustine; children, Kenneth Castro of Newman, Kathryn Maffei of Gustine and Kathleen Hewitt of Lodi; brother, Frank Castro of Hanford; sister, Evelyn McCune of Newman; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday and a Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Miracles Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery, Newman. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Hillview Funeral Chapel, Gustine, in charge of arrangements.
Edward C. David

Edward C. David, 82, of Modesto died Wednesday at Doctors Medical Center.
Mr. David was a native of Gary, Ind. He lived in Modesto 45 years and previously in Turlock 12 years. He was a self- employed developer and investor with Broad Real Estate Holdings in Stanislaus County.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Helen David of Modesto; children, Daniel David, Lisa David, Thomas David and Timothy David, all of Modesto, and John David McManus of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
A private inurnment will be under the direction of Allen Mortuary, Turlock.
