Roger Mark Manzo

Roger Mark Manzo, 64, died Oct. 11, 2005 at his home. He died from complications of being a quadriplegic.
Roger was born Nov. 7, 1940 at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles. He was in the Army, 82nd Airborn, stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his wife, Janice, of 27 years of marriage. He has a daughter, Megan, her husband Chanin. Roger also has a brother and a sister in law, Charlie and Lesa Manzo of West Hills. Two kids, Stephanie and Chris Manzo of Wildomar and five grandchildren.
Roger has been cremated. He requested no services, but on Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. there will be a ?Celebration of Life.?

Irma Erbland
Irma Erbland died peacefully on Oct. 14, 2005 at the age of 92. She recently moved to Concord after residing in Pioneer for 32 years and previously lived in El Sobrante and Richmond for 24 years.
Born in Missouri and raised in Idaho, Irma received her nursing degree from St. Alphonsus Nursing School in Boise, Idaho and worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek. The family requests memorial donations to Hospice of Contra Costa Foundation, 3470 Buskirk Avenue, Pleasant Hill, 94523.
Elton Ellis Hesner
Elton Ellis Hesner, 77, died on Saturday, March 29, 2003, in Jackson.
Mr. Hesner was born on May 10, 1925, to Ellis and Alteeny Hesner in Athena, Ore. Elton was a resident of Stockton for 33 years before he made Amador County his home 12 years ago. He worked as a truck driver for the Zellerbach Paper Company in the central valley for 15 years and was a member of the Teamsters Union No. 431. Elton also worked as a salesman for four years.
He was a member of Moose Lodge No. 391, enjoyed dancing and loved to snowmobile.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Merlyn “Jean” Hesner and sister, Delma Harrison of Baker, Ore. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4, at 10:30 a.m. in the Garden of Valor at Sunset View Cemetery
in Martell. Interment will follow the service. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Lee Anthony Cuneo
Lee Anthony Cuneo, 35, died on Friday, March 28, 2003, at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Sacramento.
Lee was born in Vallejo and grew up in Amador County, at the Cuneo Ranch on Climax Road and attended local schools, graduating from Amador High School in 1986.
He continued his education and became a Certified Diesel Mechanic. This helped him in his logging business, Cuneo Enterprises, which he operated for six years.
Lee made his home in Sacramento where he owned and operated Central Valley Entertainment, a Sacramento club for the last six years.
He loved rottweiler dogs and won many awards playing darts.
He is survived by his mother, Gale Cuneo of Rogers, Ark.; aunt and uncles, Joy and Bob Fithian, Bill J. Fithian, all of Rogers, Ark.; cousins, Robin Hinkley, Dana McCoy, Jean Tarbet, Linda Nicholas, all of Rogers, Ark.; Randy Fithian of Antioch, JoSue Cervi of Yaak, Mont.; Nancy White of Bentonville, Ark., and Jim Fithian of Bakersfield; numerous second cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Cuneo in 1988; grandparents, Joseph and Rozalia (Linda) Cuneo; and uncle, Ernest Cuneo.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 1, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sutter Creek.
Inurnment will be at the Sutter Creek Catholic Cemetery
in Sutter Creek.
Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson.

Sherri Elaine Wirth
Sherri Elaine Wirth, 51, died on Saturday, April 5, 2003, in Jackson.
She was born on Jan. 29, 1952, in Los Angeles.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, at 11 a.m., at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson.
Inurnment will be in the Tranquility Garden at Sunset View Cemetery
in Martell.

Donald Ray Myers
Donald Ray Myers, 65, died on Saturday, April 5, 2003, at his home in Pioneer.
Mr. Myers was born Aug. 9, 1937, in Pampa, Texas.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 8, at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson. Inurnment will be private.

Kenneth Thornton Smith
Kenneth Thornton Smith, 83, died on Thursday, April 3, 2003, in Pioneer.
Mr. Smith was born on Dec. 8, 1919, in King City.
At the family’s request, no service will be held.
Inurnment will be at the Camellia Memorial Lawn Cemetery
in Sacramento.
Arrangements are being handled by McCrory’s Funeral Home in Pine Grove.
Michael Edward Butler
Michael Edward Butler, 36, died on Sunday, March 30, 2003, in Pioneer.
Mr. Butler was born on June 13, 1966, in Hayward.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3.
The funeral service took place on Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at Mt. Zion Assembly of God Church in Pine Grove.
