Elsie Valleen Marie (Costantini) Aboud
Elsie Valleen Marie (Costantini) Aboud,
Passed away at home
with loving family around her on
May 25, 2010. She was born prematurely
on Valentine’s Day 1936
in Oakfield, New York
to Guiseppe and Maria (DiGennero) Costantini.
She spent her early
years in New York where
her parents ran a Boarding house.
They later moved to Phoenix,
Arizona where Elsie met her
future husband Henry Aboud Jr.
in the eighth grade.
She married Henry on October
31, 1953. They eventually
settled in Pleasanton in 1965.
She worked to help put her
husband through Dental School.
While raising a family, Elsie
worked several jobs including
president of the Women Dental
Auxiliary, selling Real Estate,
secretarial work for Liberty Mutual
and working for JCPenny's
for 20 years until her retirement.
After retirement she volunteered
at the Pleasanton Senior Center
for several years, completed the
Pleasanton Police Citizens Academy
and assisted at the superior
court, Tri-Valley youth court.
Elsie is survived by her husband,
of 57 years, Dr. Henry
Aboud Jr.; her Sister Anna Fava
and husband Geno of New York,
sister Edna Bradley of Concord,
brother John Costantini and
wife Muriel of San Pedro; her
children, Sharon Caldeira and
husband Bruce of Pleasanton,
Ray Aboud and wife Chevelle of
Tracy, Elena Kneale and husband
Chris of Tracy, Henry Aboud III
and wife Migle of Nevada; as
well as 14 grandchildren and 7
great grandchildren.
Elsie loved trains, Roy Rogers
westerns, hot air balloons,
playing Moonlight Sonata on her
baby grand piano, and spending
time with her children, grandchildren
and great grandchildren.
She always kept in touch with her
siblings and their families. She
had fond memories of family reunions
in Phoenix and New York.
She loved gambling trips with
family to Las Vegas and Laughlin.
However, her best memories
were family get togethers at her
house in Pleasanton.
Elsie will be remembered by
friends and family as a kind and
loving person who cherished life.
She was a loving wife, a wonderful
mother and a great friend.
Elsie will be missed by all.
Services will be held 2 p.m.
Friday, June 4, 2010 at The
Church of Jesus Christ of Later
Day Saints, 3574 Vineyard Ave.,
Pleasanton.

Carol Louise Macintire (Baker)
Carol Macintire, age 68,
Passed away on May 20, 2010
in her Livermore home after a
short but courageous battle with
cancer.
Carol was born on August 22,
1941 in Oakland where she grew
up and attended Oakland Technical
High School. Carol was
married to her beloved husband
Jim Macintire and they enjoyed
an amazing 47 years together.
Carol and Jim first lived in San
Leandro, where they had their
3 children: Michael, Richard,
and Debra. In 1975 Carol and
her family moved to Pleasanton,
where she devoted her time to
raising their children. After the
kids were grown, Carol worked
various jobs including Pillsbury,
Viacom Cable, and Blue Diamond
Nuts.
Carol’s passion for sailing
was unparalleled and, with her
husband, was a member of both
the Oakland Yacht Club and the
California Cruising Clippers.
Carol will be greatly missed by
all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband,
children, and 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by her mother, father, and
brother.
Before passing, Carol requested
there be no memorial service
held in her honor.

Steven Craig Burns
Steven Craig Burns was born
to Stanley and Barbara Burns on
March 4, 1958. He was raised
in Pleasanton, where he graduated
from Amador Valley High
School. Steve loved spending
time outdoors with his family
and friends. He was a Livermore
resident.
Steve passed away after a brief
illness on May 23, 2010. He was
preceded in death by his beloved
parents. Steve was the loving
father of Ryan and Justin Burns
and grandson of Elaine Bell;
caring brother of Julie (Charles)
Frick and niece Vanessa Frick:
son-in-law of Mary Rivenbark
and devoted boyfriend of Lisa
Wilmer. He was also survived
by an uncle, aunt, cousins and
numerous close friends.
Services were held at Callaghan
Mortuary, Livermore on
June 2.
In lieu of flowers, contributions
may be made to the American
Cancer Society.

Casper Josef Kelleter
Casper Josef Kelleter passed
away at his residence on May 29,
2010. He was surrounded by his
loving family. Casper was born
in Holland on Dec. 30, 1929
and came to Livermore in 1961,
where he made a home for his
son Renier and his wife of 59
years Sofia.
He will be dearly missed by
not only his wife and son, by
his 4 grandchildren and 6 great
grandchildren.
Casper is also survived by
his brother Jozef (Diny), their 2
daughters and son as well as his
older brother; Franz (Nettie).
Casper loved talking to people
and that was evident as he went
about sharing his religious beliefs
as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Casper was a special person
who touched many lives with
his caring and giving nature. He
was a true friend to all who were
fortunate to know him.
A memorial serviced will be
held on Saturday, June 5, 2010
at 4pm in the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah’s Witnesses 878 Herman
Ave, Livermore.

E. Lorraine Pizziol
E. Lorraine Pizziol, 88, recent
resident of Lewiston, Idaho,
previously a 66 year resident of
Livermore, Passed away, November
2, 2009 in Lewiston.
She was born June 12, 1921 to
Herman and Austra Sorensen in
Bancroft, Nebraska. She was the
oldest of twelve children.
She was preceded in death by
sisters, Dorothy Erickson, Karen
Palmer and brothers Francis,
George and Donald, as well as a
son Mark Neill. She is survived
by daughter Sharon Velarde and
son Chuck Neill, seven grandchildren
and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be
held at Callahan Mortuary, under
the angel, on Monday, December
7, at 2 p.m. A reception will follow.

Cyril “Les” Field
Cyril “Les” Field was born
in San Jose, CA on August 4,
1922. He passed away on Sunday,
November 22, 2009 at the
age of 87.
He grew up in Oakland and
graduated from Roosevelt High
School. He was a member of the
Eastern Star, Past Master Masonic
Lodge #113, Aahmes Shriners,
Scottish Rite and Golden Panners
and the Shurafa RV Club.
He is survived by his loving
wife Martha of 65 years, his
daughter Sherron and husband,
Hank Gersick of Livermore, son
Bill and his wife Barbara Field of
Manteca, 3 grandchildren, and 8
great grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 2.
Interment will be Dec 3, at 2
p.m. at the San Joaquin Valley
National Cemetery with Military
Honors.
