LUCILLE WHITAKER
Lucille Whitaker, 85, died on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the Hazel Rose Country Cottage Care Home, in Standish, Calif. She was born on June 1, 1919, in Frontenac, Kan. to the late Anthony and Lucy Vorraso.
She is survived by her sister Ann Funk, of Fremont, Calif.; nephew Rich Funk, of Fremont, Calif.; niece Cindy Baker, of Westwood. She was preceded in death by her husband Max in 1989.
A celebration of Lucille's life took place on March 11, at the former Westwood Baptist Church.
FLORA MAE FLEMING
Flora Mae "Mickey" Fleming, 91, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at Seneca District Hospital, in
Chester, Calif. Fleming was born on Dec. 27, 1913, in Cambray, N.M. To Charles and Mary Jackson.
She is survived by her two sons Patrick Fleming, of Oakley, Calif. and James Fleming, of Chester, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous great- great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John; children Stanley Fleming, Red Fleming, Johnny Fleming and Beverly Lamb; and brother Stanley Jackson.
Following cremation at Fehrman Crematory, private services will take place later in the spring, in the Chester District Cemetery.
LINDA LEE SHELDON
Linda Lee Sheldon, 51, died on Wednesday Feb. 23, 2005, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, in Reno, Nev. She was born on May 28, 1952, in Pasadena, Calif. to Edward Lee and Dorothy Rose.
She is survived by her husband Allan E. Sheldon; her children Christopher Crowder, of Monrovia, Calif., Robyn Grey, of Arcadia, Calif., CarriedSheldon, of Fallon, Nev., Kasey Sheldon, of Yerington, Nev.; her mother Dorothy Goodall; her sisters Mary Sue Duffield, Patti Jean Dabney and Kelly Ann Tatosian; her brother David Rose; eight grandchildren. A memorial service was held on March 5 at the Assembly of God Church in Yerington.
SALLY ANN FAIN
Sally Ann Fain, 66, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, in Reno, Nev. She was born on November 30, 1938, in Susanville, Calif.
She is survived by her son Gary and Betsy Fain, of Alturas, Calif.; daughters Gaylene and Gary Chandler, of Susanville, Calif., Sheila and Dennis Nixon, of Red Bluff, Calif.; brothers Bruce and Trish Stewart, of Denver, Colo., and Jim Stewart, of Sacramento, Calif.; sister, Kathryn Rankin, of Susanville, Calif., seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Otis Stewart.
The memorial service was held on March 14, at Walton's Colonial Chapel.
BONITA JUNE POOR
Bonita June Poor, 72, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Susanville, Calif. She was born on May 9, 1932, in Armada, Ariz.
She is survived by her brother Taltson Poor and his wife Linnie, of Reno and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m. at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, in Susanville.
JULIUS CURTIS EHLY
Julius Curtis Ehly passed away at Susanville Nursing and Rehab in Susanville, Calif. On Jan. 24, 2005, at the age of 78.
He was born in Isabelle, South Dakota on Feb. 28, 1926, and had resided in Lassen County for the past 14 years, coming from Redding, Calif.
Julius was well know for his expertise in wood carving, and woodworking. He also enjoyed fishing, carpentry work, and was a truck driver all of his life for over 40 years. Julius enjoyed spending a lot of his time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy of Susanville, Calif., daughter Vida Baker, step-son Bill and His wife Janice DiPiero of Santa Rosa, Calif., Bob and his wife Dedee Di Piero, of Stockton, Calif., brother Ron R. and his wife Connie Ehly of Azela, Ore., sister, Vida Dowden of Susanville, Calif., Chester and his wife Donnitta Dowden of Roseberg, Ore., Darrell and his wife Ruth Dowden of Susanville, Calif., niece Martha Ausmus of Susanville, Calif., great-nephew Ryan Ausmus, grandson Whayne Baker, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his sister, Velda A. Palmer, brothers, Emmett A. Ehly, Verlyn G. Ehly, Merlin Ehly, and Harry P. Ehly.
There will be a private burial at Lawncrest cemetery in Redding, Calif. at a later date.
WILLIAM MCKINLEY MORRIS
William McKinley Morris, 64, died Sunday, Jan. 16 in Turlock, Calif. He was born Sept. 4, 1940 in Boulder, Colo.
He is survived by his wife Peg of 48 years; son Bill Morris, of Oakland, Calif.; daughters Sheri Theis of Auburn and Teri Applequist of Modesto; 3 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
There will be a private service and burial. Remembrances and donations can be made out to Emanuel Hospital Hospice Program, P.O. Box 819005, Turlock, Calif., 95381.
JUANITA A. RHODEHOUSE
Juanita A. Rhodehouse, 81, died Jan. 22 in Paradise, Calif. She was born on March 30, 1923 in Carson City, Nev.
She is survived by her husband Earl Rhodehouse; sons Gary and Glen; daughters Beverly Cole, Cookie McClard and Sue Guglielmone.
Services were held Friday, Jan. 28 at Newton Braceweil, Chico, Calif.

ULISSES DE JESUS RODRIQUEZ
Ulisses De Jesus Rodriquez, 7, died on Saturday, Jan. 19. He was born on May 13, 1997.
He is survived by his parents, brothers and sisters.
A vigil was held on Thursday, Jan. 27 and services were held on Friday Jan. 28. Burial to place in the McArthur cemetery.
