Marianne Johanna Tabarracci

Funeral services for Marianne Johanna Tabarracci, 68, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church.

The Rev. Vincent O'Reilly of St. Joseph's Catholic Church will preside. Burial will be in the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mrs. Tabarracci died Aug. 14, 1997, in Vacaville after a long illness.

Born Feb. 10, 1929, in Duisburg, Germany, she lived in Vacaville for six years. She was a homemaker. She was active in the Lawn Bowling Club, wrote several articles for the Leisure Town Hall Magazine, and was active with the Entertainment Guild in both Sacramento and Leisure Town.

Mrs. Tabarracci enjoyed singing, entertaining, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time in her garden.

Mrs. Tabarracci is survived by her husband, Joe of Vacaville; daughters, Annemarie Judge of California, Bernadette Nagle and husband, Robert, of San Diego, and Veronica Volcan of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., Monday in McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Henry Wickman

A private family service for Henry Wickman, 91, of Vallejo will be Monday in Vaca Hills Chapel in Vacaville.

Private burial will be in Longview, Wash. The Rev. Clair Denman of the Community Presbyterian Church will preside.

Born March 17, 1906, in Culbertson, Neb., Mr. Wickman died Aug. 15, 1997, at Vallejo Sutter-Solano Hospital.

He worked as a security officer for the Army depot for 23 years, and was enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served in China and was in the Army Air Corps during World War II.

Mr. Wickman was a member of the American Legion, the AARP, and the Community Presbyterian Church. He was a former member of SIRS, and was an avid golfer. He moved to the area 15 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude of Vallejo; daughters, Barbara Kirchman of Highland Park,  Colo., and Jeanette Eckstein of Hector, Minn.; sons, Clarence "Ed" of Vacaville and Gerald of Auburn; stepsons, L. Harriss Lanphear of Eugene, Ore., and Joel H. Lanphear of Galveston,  Texas; sisters, Margaret A. Waltz of McMinnville, Ore., Ester Mills of Joplin, Mo., and Rachael Hilliard of Grand Junction,  Colo.; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Mark.

Visitation will be private.

Paul Arthur Bohr

Mass of Christian Burial for Paul Arthur Bohr, 77, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Church.

The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela will officiate. Entombment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mr. Bohr died Aug. 17, 1997 at his home after a long illness.

Born Sept. 2, 1919, in Lenox, Iowa, he moved to Fairfield 44 years ago. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy for four years, owned and operated Paul's Barbershop in Fairfield for 30 years until retiring in 1984. After retirement, Paul visited shut-ins, often giving haircuts and providing handyman services. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Chief Solano Council #3585, was a Grand Knight in 1967-1968, was a charter member of the F.A.S.T. Lions Club, member of the Fairfield Elks Lodge, member of S.I.R.S., member of the Legion of Mary, as well as an usher and alter server at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield.

Mr. Bohr is survived by his wife Muriel June of Fairfield; daughter, Katherine of Vacaville; son, Michael of Portland Ore.; sister, Patricia Clarke of Madison, S.D.; brother, Leroy of Waterville, Wash.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Rosary will be 7 p.m. tonight in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield.

Memorial contributions can be made to Kaiser Hospice Program, 975 Sereno Dr., Vallejo 94590; American Cancer Society, 1312 Maryland St., Fairfield 94533; Sisters of Holy Faith Retirement Fund, 1050 N.  Texas St., Fairfield 94533.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Rowena Chapman Gabaldon

No services will be held for Rowena Chapman Gabaldon, 67, of Vacaville.

Mrs. Gabaldon died Aug. 15, 1997 in Vacaville after a short illness.

Born Feb. 17, 1930 in Los Angeles, she has lived in Vacaville for 32 years. She worked as a Fiscal Officer for the Vacaville Unified School District for 25 years. She was a member of the local chapter of the Good Sam Club in Vacaville, and both she and her husband were members of the USS Lexington CV2 club.

Mrs. Gabaldon liked to do needlepoint, travel with her husband, and she gave generously of her time.

Mrs. Gabaldon is survived by her husband S.A. Gabaldon of Vacaville; brother, Robert Chapman of Wellington, Nev.; sister-in-law, Martha Jensen of Palm Desert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vacaville Fire Department for donations to "needy families."

Arrangements are by McCune Garden Chapel.

Natalie McCausland

Funeral services for Natalie McCausland, 73 of Vacaville will be 11 a.m., today in Vaca Hills Chapel.

The Rev. Leo Nelson, retired, will officiate. Burial will be in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mrs. McCausland died Aug. 16, 1997 in Fairfield Convalescent Hospital after a long illness.

Born April 27, 1924, in San Francisco, she moved to the area 1 1/2 years ago. She worked for Mervyn's stores for 16 years.

Mrs. McCausland enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards, fishing and visiting with her children.

Mrs. McCausland is survived by her husband Donald of Vacaville; sons, Donald Joseph of Seattle, Wash., and Guy Cyr of Pointe Claire, Canada; sisters, Ester Pigg of Vacaville and Mollie Rohatch of San Francisco; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Marshall.

Memorial contributions can be made to your favorite charity.

Leo Alog Mopas

A Mass of Christian Burial for Leo Alog Mopas, 86, of Fairfield will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela will officiate. Interment will be in Rockville Cemetery.

Mr. Mopas died Sunday in Kaiser Hospital, Vallejo after a short illness.

Born Jan. 18, 1911, in Tyog, Philippine Islands. He moved to Fairfield 43 years ago. He worked as a barber for 48 years, owned and operated the Rockville Barber Shop for 23 years until his retired.

He was also in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of the F&AM Suisun Lodge #55; Ben Ali Temple, Sacramento; Montezuma Shrine Club, Vacaville; Scottish Rite, Oakland; Chief Solano Scottish Rite Club, Vacaville; York Rite Mason, Fairfield; Ben Ali Shrine Military Honor Club; California Farm Bureau; Life member of American Legion Post #18 2, Suisun; Deputy Sheriff's Association of Solano County; California State Sheriff's Association; Member of the National Rifle Association; Member of the Ben Ali Legion of Honor.

Mr. Mopas is survived by his daughter, Janie of Vacaville; sons, Wynn of Suisun Valley and Tom of Sacramento; brother, Mariano of Philippine Islands; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m., Rosary will be 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Gordon Clark Parker

Upon his request, there will be no services for Gordon Clark Parker, 72, of Fairfield. Private inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.

Born July 11, 1925, in Michigan City, Ind., Mr. Parker died Aug. 18, 1997, at David Grant Medical Center after a long illness.

He was a chief of the interviewing unit for the Veterans Administrations in San Francisco for 12 years. He retired from the Air Force in 1974.

He was a flight engineer in the Air Force with more than 23,000 hours in the air. He served in the Navy from 1943 to 1956, receiving the Purple Heart during World War II. He served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1974, and was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.

Mr. Parker was a member of the Cribbage Club at the Fairfield Senior Center, and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Fairfield; daughters, Janice and Colleen of San Francisco, and Kathleen Ouzts of Mobile, Ala.; sons, Kevin of Cupertino, and David of Oakland; brother, Robert of Michigan City, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Fairfield Funeral Home.

Paul A. Taneyhill Jr.

Graveside services for Paul A. Taneyhill Jr., 76, of Lafayette will be 11 a.m. Monday at the San Francisco National Cemetery.

Born Dec. 18, 1922, Mr. Taneyhill died Aug. 16, 1997, in Walnut Creek.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley; daughter, Peggy Horn of Moraga; sons, Thomas of San Francisco, and Paul III of Paris; sister, Edith Vaughn of Kansas; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Rogers Family Funeral Home.

Carlton Hinson Barlow

Funeral services for Carlton Hinson Barlow, 32, of Suisun will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

The Rev. E. W. Alston of Stockton will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Memorial Park.

Born June 17, 1965, in Lufkin,  Texas, Mr. Barlow died Aug. 16, 1997, at VacaValley Hospital after a short illness.

He worked as a warehouseman for Ross Clothing for three years, for Travis Maintenance Service at the Oakland Airport for one year, and as a security guard for a number of years.

He was a former member of the St. Rest Baptist Church in Oakland, where he had been baptized. Mr. Barlow was active in Boy Scouts in Fremont from 1976-1979.

Mr. Barlow is survived by his parents, Joyce and Fred of Suisun; sisters, Samantha and Irene, both of Suisun, Tamika Henry of Fairfield, Merian Gilliam of Reno, and Shawnda of Oakland; brothers, Tyler of Suisun, and Ricky and Fred Jr., both of Fairfield.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W.  Texas St. in Fairfield.

Joyce J. Stevens-Bozeman

Funeral services for Joyce J. Stevens-Bozeman, 65, of Fairfield will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville.

Members of the Rebekkah Lodge No.46 of Suisun and Ladies Encampment Auxiliary No. 43 of Crockett will officiate. Burial will be at the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Born June 15, 1932, in Salem, Ore., Mrs. Stevens-Bozeman died Aug. 18, 1997, in Fresno after a sudden illness.

A 20-year resident of Fairfield and former Vallejo resident, she held clerical positions for many years prior to opening her own floral, wedding and catering business.

She was a 28-year member and a Past Noble Grand of Rebekkah Lodge No. 46. She was also a past president and member of district 25. She was a member of the Grand Ladies Encampment Auxiliary of California No. 43, where she served as a Chief Matriarch, Grand Marshall, Grand High Priestess, Grand Matriarch of California and, most currently, as District Deputy Grand Matriarch.

Mrs. Stevens-Bozeman enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Joe of Fairfield; sons, David of Fairfield and Michael of Denver; daughter, Kathleen M. Roberts of Fairfield; brother, Thomas Mitchell of Napa; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St. in Vacaville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasury of Grand Ladies Encampment Association, c/o Vi Pierce, 155 Clay, Salinas 93901.

William D. Eyrich

A Memorial Mass for William D. Eyrich, 55, of Fairfield will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Fairfield.

Private inurnment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park in Fairfield.

Born July 17, 1942, in Spokane, Wash., Mr. Eyrich died Aug. 19, 1997, at his home after a short illness.

He was a lead mechanic with United Airlines for 32 years, and he was a four-year veteran of the Marine Corps.

He was active with Fairfield Youth Soccer League for 20 years, and lived in Fairfield for 19 years.

Mr. Eyrich is survived by his wife, Linda of Fairfield; daughter, Lynette of Fairfield; sons, Philip of Sacramento and Michael of Fairfield; brother, Terry of Merced; and mother, Alice of Chico.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
