Chadwick Tyler Pennington
Memorial services for Chadwick Tyler Pennington, 27, of Fairfield will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
Stan Sanderson of the Church of Christ will officiate. Inurnment will be private.
Born March 3, 1970, in Laguna Beach, Mr. Pennington died Aug. 10, 1997, in Fairfield after a sudden illness.
He lived in Fairfield for two years, and worked as a cook in the food service industry for 10 years.
He loved music and animals, and was a gifted baseball player at all levels.
Mr. Pennington is survived by his companion, Kristina Betz of Fairfield; father, Millard Larry Pennington of Oregon; sister, Layla Weber of Pasco, Wash.; and aunts, Linda Duval-Parson-Andover of Minnesota and Patricia Piland of Woodland.
Nathaniel M. 'Rich' Richman
Longtime Vacaville resident Nathaniel M. "Rich" Richman died Aug. 25, 1997, at the age of 96.
At his request, there will be no services.
Born March 4, 1901, in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Richman moved to Vacaville with his late wife, Ruby, from Cheshire, Conn., in 1965, after retiring from a filtration products manufacturing company.
An avid golfer, he sponsored the Leisure Town Men's Golf Club and was its first president. He was a member of the board of the then-Intercommunity Hospital, now known as NorthBay Medical Center. He was a former member of the Green Valley Country Club, and he belonged to the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce. He had been a Master Mason since 1923.
Mr. Richman is survived by his daughter, Iris Adler of Scarsdale, N.Y.; grandchildren, Lani, John and William Adler; and great-grandchildren, Luke and Ryan.
James C. Cole
Graveside services were held for James C. Cole, 54, who attended schools in Vacaville.
Born March 13, 1943, in National City, Mr. Cole died Aug. 23, 1997.
Mr. Cole was employed in construction as an electrician and welder for 12 years, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 26 and the IBEW Union Local No. 34.
He attended schools in Vacaville, and lived in Kern County since 1994.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Carol of Bakersfield; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rachael of Bakersfield; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Daniel White of Las Vegas; mother, Vercie of California; sisters, Sarah Smith of Illinois, Betty Hester of Oregon and Dorothy Smith of California; brothers, Dennis of California and William of Nevada; and grandchildren, Lynn Cheryl and Christopher James.
Arrangements were under the direction of Greenlawn Mortuary Funeral Directors.
Marguerite Iva Christine Deirup
A Mass of the Resurrection for Marguerite Iva Christine Deirup, 88, of Fairfield will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield.
The Rev. Patrick Lee of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Sacramento will preside. Burial will follow in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
Born March 25, 1909, in Seattle, Mrs. Deirup died Aug. 26, 1997, at Fairfield Health Care Center after a long illness.
A resident of Fairfield for 22 years, she was a homemaker her adult life and had worked in the greater Bay Area as an accountant for 60 years.
Mrs. Deirup is survived by her daughter, Colleen M. Angle of Fairfield; five grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today in Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
Lillian Mae Milligan
A memorial service for Lillian Mae Milligan, 90, of American Canyon will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Vacaville. Burial will follow.
Born Nov. 13, 1906, in the Bronx, N.Y., Mrs. Milligan died Aug. 22, 1997, at a Napa hospital. She lived in American Canyon for 37 years, Vacaville for 10 years, Fairfield for five years, Napa for 10 years, Rockville for five years, and Vallejo for 1 1/2 years.
Mrs. Milligan was a cafeteria manager for the Napa Valley Unified School District for nine years, and for Armijo High School in Fairfield for six years. She retired in 1966.
She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Napa.
Mrs. Milligan is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Bradanini of Vacaville; sons, Robert Carlton of American Canyon and Thomas Suellau of Napa; brother, William McMahon of Alhambra; grandchildren, Kirsten Suellau, Rick Carlton, Jim Bradanini, Lily Boykin, William Suellau, Michael Suellau, Shirleen Horley and Shereen DeVane; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judd; and her grandson, Bobby Carlton.
Arrangements are under the direction of Skyview Memorial Lawn in Vallejo.
Alfred Anton Parchamowicz
A Mass of Christian Burial for Alfred Anton Parchamowicz, 91, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield.
The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela will preside. Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery
in Sonoma.
Born May 16, 1906, in Warsaw, Poland, Mr. Parchamowicz died Aug. 27, 1997, at Fairfield Health Care Center after a long illness.
He graduated from the University of Warsaw, and worked as a chemical engineer for 10 years. He then served as a lieutenant in the II Polish Corp in the British Army from 1942 to 1947.
Mr. Parchamowicz came to the United States in 1962 and became an American citizen in July 1967. He retired in 1973.
He is survived by his wife, Gina of Fairfield.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Bryan-Braker, 1850 W. Texas St. in Fairfield.
Dorothy L. Parker
Upon her request, there will be no services for Dorothy L. Parker, 85, of Vacaville.
Her ashes will be scattered at sea.
Born Jan. 26, 1912, in Alameda, Mrs. Parker died Aug. 26, 1997.
A resident of Vacaville for eight years, Mrs. Parker enjoyed digging for and collecting antique bottles. She also collected and repaired antique dolls.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Bill Collins of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Linda; grandchildren, David and Candace; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay; and daughter, Joan.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Sacramento.
Wyetta Rose Earp
Funeral services for Wyetta Rose Earp, a newborn, will be 9:30 a.m. today at the Dixon United Methodist Church, 209 N. Jefferson St. in Dixon.
The Rev. Manuel Bello of the Foursquare Church in Dixon will preside. Burial will follow in the Silveyville Cemetery.
Born Aug. 24, 1997, at Sutter Davis Hospital, she died the same day.
She is survived by her parents, Wyatt and Darlene of Dixon; paternal grandparents, Frank and Rose Ramos of Oregon, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Earp of Texas; maternal grandparents, Joel and Rebecca Segars of Winters, and Curtis and Ruth Ann Sellards of West Virginia; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family requests those attending the services wear casual attire.
Contributions can be made to the Milton Carpenter Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral and cemetery expenses.
Frank Dyer
Services were held for Frank Dyer, 88, of Dixon.
Born Jan. 10, 1909, in Newcastle, England, Mr. Dyer died Aug. 12, 1997, at Woodland Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Dyer, a Dixon resident for 50 years, grew up in Butte, Mont., and graduated with honors from Montana State University in 1933 with a degree in agricultural education.
He was a farm adviser with the University of California Extension Service, San Joaquin County, from 1941 to 1944. In 1942, he acquired a farming operation, which he moved to Dixon in 1947.
He farmed for about 20 years in San Joaquin, Yolo and Solano counties, but primarily in Dixon. He pioneered many innovative farming practices and developed more than 800 acres of land for row crop farming.
President of the Tomato Growers Association, Mr. Dyer pioneered tomato farming in the Dixon area and helped to develop the mechanical tomato harvester and tomato varieties suitable for mechanical harvest.
He retired from farming in 1962, secured a master's degree in education from the University of California, Davis, and returned to teaching until 1972. Among his teaching endeavors, Mr. Dyer taught vocational agriculture at Armijo High School and the Solano County Juvenile Hall, both in Fairfield.
He retired from teaching in 1972, and went into real estate selling properties in the Dixon and Vacaville areas.
He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi national scholastic honor society, California Tomato Growers Association, Rotary Club of Dixon, and Sirs of Vacaville.
Mr. Dyer is survived by his sons, Terry of Tahoe City and Paul of Alamo. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Ruth Kloster, in August 1983; four brothers; and one sister.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Margaret J. Gray
Memorial services for Margaret J. Gray, 68, of Vacaville will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Vaca Hills Chapel.

Born Nov. 19, 1928, in Shreveport, La., she died Aug. 29, 1997, in her home after a long illness.
She was a hairdresser in Leisure Town for many years.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughters, Terri Filomeno of Vacaville, Clella Bowser of Sunnyvale, Janet Rodriguez and Meg Brownwood, both of Vacaville, and Kim Badial of Coos Bay, Ore.; son, Lynn of Antioch; brother, Bobby Dodd of Texas; nine grandchildren with another on the way; and three great-grandchildren.
Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
Joseph Daniel Patrick
Funeral services for Joseph Daniel Patrick, 16, of Winters will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Vaca Hills Chapel.
The Rev. Leo Nelson will officiate. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Born March 12, 1981, at Travis Air Force Base, he died Aug. 28, 1997, in rural Dixon from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
The teenager was a maintenance worker for the past several months.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Debra and Rich McNamara of Medford, Ore.; brother, David of Medford, Ore.; sister, Kelly of Hornbrook; maternal grandmother, Syble Ewing of Western Grove, Ark.; paternal grandmother, Helen Patrick of Winters; great-grandfather, Sedric O. Esqueda; aunts and uncles, Steven and Diana Trompeter of San Diego; Louise of Dixon, Jim and Cyndi of Vacaville, Sandy of Vacaville, Kevin Trompeter of Vacaville, Gary of Winters, and Brenda Verville of Manteca; and numerous cousins.
