Clemente Agana

Catholic Prayer Service for Clemente Agana, 64, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield.

The Rev. Michael Downey will preside. Burial will be private.

Born Nov. 22, 1932, in Waimea, Hawaii, Mr. Agana died Sept. 9, 1997, in Fairfield after a brief illness.

He was in the Air Force for 10 years, and worked for the American Airlines as an aircraft inspector, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Hui-Hauoli Hawaiian Club in Fairfield. He lived in Fairfield for 17 years.

Mr. Agana is survived by his wife, Diane of Fairfield; daughters, Fran Davis of Fairfield, Joobie of San Diego, Jenny Bender of Redwood City and Sabrina Crow of Jacksonville, N.C.; son, Larry Crow of Fairfield; sister, Auri Maria of Marina; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 a.m. today at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. A vigil will be 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Ulysses Lee Brownridge Sr.

Funeral services for Ulysses Lee Brownridge Sr., 72, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Suisun City.

The Rev. Claybon Lea will preside. Burial with full military honors will be in Rockville Cemetery.

Born July 22, 1925, in Brandon, Miss., Mr. Brownridge died Sept. 11, 1997, in Fairfield after a long illness.

He was in the Air Force from 1948 to 1968, retiring as a master sergeant.

He also served in the Marine Corps from 1941 to 1945, and was a World War II veteran. He was an electronic technician for 21 years for United Airlines.

Mr. Brownridge is a member of the Mason Suisun Lodge No. 108, Veritas Consistory No. 327 in Suisun City, Eastern Star No. 90 in Suisun City, and Alooma Temple No. 212, Shriners, in Suisun City.

He loved to travel and play golf.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth of Fairfield; daughters, Avis Blackwell of Richmond, Janet of Fairfield and Daphne of San Jose; sons, Hiram of Reno, and Ulysses Jr. of Vacaville; brothers, Walter and Oliver, both of Toledo, Ohio; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Greater San Francisco Bay Area, 330 Distel Circle, Ste. A, Los Altos 94022.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Armand A. Annereau, Sr.

Funeral services for Armand A. Annereau, Sr., 78, of Green Valley will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bryan Braker Funeral Home.

Interment will be a Rockville Cemetery.

Mr. Annereau died Monday at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base after a long illness.

Born Nov. 15, 1918 in Oakland, he moved to Green Valley in 1989. He served with the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of WWII with 23 years of service retiring in as a MSgt. He was an official Combat Photographer. Served as a Major in the Civil Air Patrol. He owned and operated the family business "Annereau Auto Upholstery" (established by his father in 1897) in Oakland and Pleasant Hill from mid 1940 to 1967. He owned and operated Lake Berryessa South Shore Resort in Napa for 23 years until retirement in 1989. He was a member of American Legion Post 331, Pleasant Hill; and Boy Scoutmaster and founded Troop 215, Pleasant Hill.

Mr. Annereau is survived by his wife, Ellen of Green Valley; daughters, Janet Betz of Martinez, Babi of Novato and Margie Evans of Toquerville, Utah; sons, Armand A., Jr. of Concord and George W. of Napa; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Nellie A. Ruesch

A memorial service for Mrs. Nellie A. Ruesch, 77, will be held in the McCune Garden Chapel at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

The Rev. Lester Seto of Bethany Lutheran Church will officiate.

Mrs. Ruesch was born Nov. 30, 1919 in Vermilion, Ill. and died Sept. 13, 1997 at VacaValley Hospital. She lived in Vacaville since 1963.

Mrs. Ruesch was a homemaker and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Family members also remember her as an avid "people-watcher."

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rika and William McCreary and Judy and Jeff Mach of Vacaville; her sisters Dorothy Cassel of Terre Haute, Ind. and Edith Gill of Denim Springs, La.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Ruesch, in 1969.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.

Steve Reynolds

There will be no services for Steve Reynolds, 58, of Vacaville, at his request. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Reynolds died Sept. 12, 1997, after a boating accident.

Born July 18, 1939 in Coffeeville, Kansas, he moved to the area 23 years ago. He was a resource manager for the U.S. government for 24 years. He served in the Navy and Air Force. He was a member of the Solano Yacht Club.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Julie of Vacaville; daughter, Camryn Phillips of Charleston, S.C.; sisters, Connie Fox and Sandy Reynolds, both of Colorado, and Bobbie Mendenhall of Kansas; grandchildren, Madelyn and Arthur Phillips, both of Charleston, S.C.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

Arrangements are being handled by Vaca Hills Chapel.

Merle Grant

Memorial services for Merle Grant, 75, of Vacaville will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave., Vacaville.

Minister Ed Sanderson of The Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will be private in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mrs. Grant died Saturday in Vacaville after a long illness.

Born Dec. 31, 1921 in Canada, she moved to Vacaville 8 years ago. She worked as a sales clerk for 12 years with Ross Stores.

Mrs. Grant is survived by a daughter, Donna Lee Kirkpatrick of Vacaville; sisters, Dolores Hubbard of Brentwood, Ca.; Donalda Bingley of Canada; grandchildren, Ryan and Troy Kirkpatrick of Vacaville; great grandchild, Karlye of Vacaville.

Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, c/o 290 Fruitvale Ave., Vacaville, CA 95688; or the Alzheimer's Research Fund.

Florence Weber Falk

Graveside services for Florence Weber Falk, 67, of Suisun will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Rockville Cemetery.

The Rabbi David Kopstein, Congregation Bnai Israel, Vallejo will officiate. Interment will be in Rockville Cemetery.

Mrs. Falk died Monday in Vacaville Convalescent Hospital after a long illness.

Born May 27, 1930 in Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Suisun 5 years ago. She worked as a typist in New York for 4 years; worked as a taxi cab driver in Southern California for 3 years; and a homemaker for 20 004 . 0001.03years. She was a member of the Hadassah, Solano Chapter.

Mrs. Falk was an avid bowler.

Mrs. Falk is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Fuchs of Fairfield and Su Garrett of Mira Loma; a son, Jack Falk of Santa Barbara; sister, Betty Brandt of Buena Park, brother, Cy Weber of Long Island, N.Y.; and 7 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, 1312 Maryland St., Fairfield, 94533.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Willie Charles Kitchen II

Funeral services for Willie Charles Kitchen II, 53, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the McCune Garden Chapel.

Chaplain Michael Doan of Travis Air Force Base will officiate.

Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the McCune Garden Chapel, 212 Main St., Vacaville.

Mr. Kitchen was born in Bainbridge, Ga., on Oct. 16, 1943. He died at his Vacaville home on Sept. 13, 1997, after a long illness.

Mr. Kitchen lived in Vacaville for 34 years. He served in active duty and civil service at Travis Air Force Base for 32 years as an aircraft mechanic.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1967, of Vacaville.

He is survived by his sons, Willie C. of San Leandro and Darrell of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters Gwendolyn D. Pitts of Vallejo, Constance M. Kitchen-Blyther of Detroit, Mich., Deborah K. Woodfork of Benicia, Sharon J.  Taylor of San Pablo and their mother, Addie of San Leandro.

Mr. Kitchen is also survived by his mother, Agnes Brown of Woodville, Fla.; six brothers and a sister, all of Florida; and 10 grandchildren.

David James Neidiffer

A memorial service for David James Neidiffer, 41, of Dixon will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in Milton Carpenter Funeral Home.

Pastor Steve Rost of Dixon Neighborhood Church will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Neidiffer died Sunday in Dixon, after a long illness.

Born July 8, 1956, in Woodland, he has lived in Dixon all of his life. He worked for Western Insofoam as a molder for 13 years.

Mr. Neidiffer enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mr. Neidiffer is survived by his wife, Susan of Dixon; son, Matthew of Dixon; mother, Joyce Motschman of Oregon; father, Frank of Alaska; brothers, Frank Jr., Darrell and Mark, all of Alaska, and Johnny of Southern California; stepbrother, Aaron; stepsister, Leslie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 290 Fruitvale Road, Vacaville, 95688.

Stephan Plesin

Graveside services will be held for Stephan Plesin, 86, of Vacaville, will be private in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

The Rev. Keith Knauf will officiate. Burial will be in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mr. Plesin died Saturday at his home after a long illness.

Born Aug. 6, 1911, in Hungary, he moved to the area 20 years ago. He retired from Varian Associates as a machinist serving 17 years.

Mr. Plesin is survived by his wife, Gisela of Vacaville; sisters, Fedor and Maria, both of Horincovo, Ukraine; niece and nephew, Angelika and Gary Burns and family, of Byron; and many friends.

Arrangements are by Vaca Hills Chapel.
