Bryant Reid Burnette
Services for Bryant Reid Burnette, 45, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lind Brothers Mortuary, Carmichael Oaks Chapel, 4221 Manzanita Ave., Carmichael. Interment will be in Fair Oaks Cemetery.
A native of Sacramento, Mr. Burnette died Jan. 19, 1998. He worked in the textile industry for many years.
Mr. Burnette is survived by his wife, Suzan; son, Matthew Burnette; parents, Bernice and Bud Lowery of Fair Oaks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Mary Lowery of Grass Valley, Paul Lowery of North Highlands, Don Hanson of Carmichael; sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnne and Robert Hughes of Missouri, Beatrice Ashwill of Rocklin, Cathe Moody and Larry Dinger of Rocklin, Kathy and Tim Wesely of Citrus Heights, and Kristine Hanson and Jim Fetzer of Ukiah; mother-in-law, Marie Moody of Rocklin; godchildren, Chloe Lanihuli Szabad and Mason Storm Lowery; and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward M. Cooper; father-in-law, James W. Moody; and father, Ray Cobb Burnette.

Frances T. Gaynor
Funeral services for Frances T. Gaynor, 82, of Fairfield will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home Chapel in Fairfield.
The Rev. Gerald Harder of Elmira Baptist Church will preside. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery.
Born March 19, 1915, in Charleston, W.Va., Mrs. Gaynor died Jan. 20, 1998, at La Mariposa Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield after a short illness.
She worked for General Mills in the sponge manufacturing division as an assembly line worker for 26 years. She was a member of the Elmira Baptist Church in Elmira. She was a resident of Fairfield for 12 years.
Mrs. Gaynor is survived by her son, David Mickalow of Fairfield; a brother; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Junella Monk
Funeral services for Junella Monk, 67, of Oroville will be at 1 p.m. today in Vaca Hills Chapel. The Rev. Rob Porter of North Bay Faith Center in Fairfield will officiate.
Burial will be Saturday in the Monk Cemetery
in Charleston, W.V.
Mrs. Monk died Jan. 19, 1998, in the University of California, Davis, Medical Center in Sacramento after a long illness.
Born April 17, 1930, in Charleston, she moved to Oroville five years ago. She was a homemaker for 49 years.
Mrs. Monk is survived by her husband, Clifford of Oroville; daughters, Beverley McDougald of Vacaville, Pamela Berdak of Fairfield, and Joyce Jones of Vacaville; brothers, Jerry and Steve Gibson, both of Charleston; sister, Nisa Gibson of Charleston; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday in Vaca Hills Chapel.
Ronald F. Nicoletta Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ronald F. Nicoletta Sr., 65, of Green Valley was held Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield. Burial was private at Rockville Cemetery.
Born Jan. 28, 1932, in Utica, N.Y., Mr. Nicoletta died Jan. 14, 1998. He was a resident of Vallejo from 1958 to 1962, and lived in Green Valley since 1962.
He was a graduate of Niagara University in 1953 and Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1958.
Mr. Nicoletta served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1962, and was stationed at the dental clinic at Travis Air Force Base.
Upon discharge from the military, Mr. Nicoletta became a partner with Dr. Louis Moore in Vallejo. Later, he bought the business from him and continued practicing in the same Napa Street location until he died.
He practiced for more than 40 years.
Mr. Nicoletta had operated a Christmas tree lot with his sons for more than 20 years. He was an avid golfer for more than 35 years, and was past president of Green Valley Country Club. He served on many committees, including the greens committee and the membership committee. On Feb. 4, 1984, he shot a hole-in-one. He also was an accomplished hunter and fisherman.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Mr. Nicoletta is survived by his wife, Fran of Green Valley; sons, Ronald Jr. of Yale, Okla. and James of Vallejo; daughters, Elaine of Fairfield, Cherie of Benicia and "Dukie" of Dublin; grandchildren, Genevieve, Robert Perry Jr., Alyssa Perry, Sophia, and Francesca Rodriguez.

Rodolfo Alvarado
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rodolfo Alvarado, 82, of Dixon will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
The Rev. Maurice O'Brien will preside. Burial will follow at Silveyville Cemetery.
Born Sept. 18, 1915, in Sheffield, Texas, Mr. Alvarado died Jan. 21, 1998, in Davis after a sudden illness. He was a resident of Dixon for 36 years.
Mr. Alvarado was a sheep shearer in Texas and California for 39 years. He was a member of Comite Mexicano De Benefencia of Dixon and the Moose Lodge of Dixon.
He loved vegetable gardening and was an avid dancer.
Mr. Alvarado is survived by his wife of 60 years, Olivia; daughter, Olga of Sacramento; granddaughter, Melba Salinas of Sacramento; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Elizabeth Winter
There will be no services held for Elizabeth Winter, 72, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be private.
Born Feb. 15, 1925, in Germany, Mrs. Winter died Dec. 22, 1997, at NorthBay Medical Center after a short illness. She had lived in Fairfield for 30 years.
Mrs. Winter had worked as a nurse's aide, and was a loving person.
She is survived by close friends, Audrey Jones of Fairfield, Maralyn and Tammy Porter of Fairfield, Wayne, Jennifer, and Rebecca Stokes, all of Fairfield, Russell Stokes of Vacaville, and Jo and Nancy Barnum of Fairfield.

Benerita M. Duran
Funeral services for Benerita M. Duran, 95, of Vacaville will be 4 p.m. Sunday in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Pastor Stan Caylor of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hills Cemetery
in Whittier.
Born Jan. 1, 1903, in Segundo, Colo., Mrs. Duran died Jan. 23, 1998, in her Vacaville home after a brief illness.
She moved to Vacaville more than 17 years ago. She was a homemaker for more than 60 years and loved dancing and music and enjoyed visiting her many relatives.
Mrs. Duran is survived by her sons, Felix and Joseph, both of Vacaville; 34 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Fred W. Knoppel
A funeral service for Fred W. Knoppel, 83, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Fairmont Memorial Park Chapel, 1901 Union Ave., in Fairfield. Stan Sanderson will officiate.
Mr. Knoppel will be buried in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Greensburg, Pa. He lived in Fairfield for 45 years and died in his home after a short illness.
Mr. Knoppel was a corporal in the U.S. Army from 1935 until 1938 and served in the Merchant Marines as chief steward from 1938 until 1945.
After his military service, he was head chef and butcher at the Army Air Force Base Exchange at Travis Air Force Base, before retiring in 1977.
During his free time he enjoyed bowling and deer hunting and was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Giants fan. He also liked to play pinochle and enjoyed chess when he was younger.
Mr. Knoppel is survived by his wife, Jean of Fairfield; daughter, Nancy Page of Suisun; son and daughter-in-law, Fred W. Knoppel II and Joanne of Fairfield; sisters, Dorothy Carr of Latrobe, Pa., Ann Urban of Greensburg, Pa., four half-sisters in Pennsylvania; brother, Charles of Ridgeland, S.C.; and one grandchild.

Eufrosina R. Rampola

Born May 7, 1921, in Banga, Aklan, Philippine Islands, Mrs. Rampola died Jan. 22, 1998, at NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield after a long illness. She lived in Suisun City for seven years.
Mrs. Rampola was a homemaker most of her adult life. She lived in the Philippine Islands until moving to the United States in 1981.
She lived in San Diego from 1981 to 1989; in Winnipeg, Canada from 1989 to 1991; and Suisun City from 1991 to 1998.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching television.
Mrs. Rampola is survived by her sons, Timothy Fish, Patrick Fish, and Michael Fish, all of Suisun City, and Cesar of Winnipeg, Canada; four sisters in Aklan, Philippine Islands; three brothers in Aklan, Philippine Islands; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, with rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jack P. Boyle
Graveside services for Jack P. Boyle, 80, of Akron, Ohio, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Cemetery
in Akron.
Mr. Boyle died Jan. 25, 1998, at the Hospice Care Center of Summit County after a long illness.
Born in Alliance, Ohio, Mr. Boyle had lived in Akron for most of his life. He was a retired machinist and Army veteran who served in World War II and Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; and sister-in-law, Eugene Braucher of Vacaville.
