Ruth Barbara Moore

Funeral services for Ruth Barbara Moore, 90, of Fairfield will 10 a.m. Monday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Father John Duncan of Grace Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will be in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Moore died Oct. 13, 1998, at Sunrise-La Mariposa Care Center after a long illness.

Born Sept. 8, 1908, in Ithaca, N.Y., she lived in Fairfield for 33 years. She was a homemaker for many years.

She was a volunteer and founding member of the Fairfield Senior Citizens Center, a volunteer ombudsman, member of OES Loyalty Southfield Ionic Chapter No. 427 Highland Park, Mich., member and past officer of IOOF Crystal Rebekah Suisun Lodge No. 46, member and past president of SPRSI, member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Veterans of World War I, and longtime member of Grace Episcopal Church of Fairfield.

Mrs. Moore is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Martha of Fairfield; granddaughter, Terry Ellen Ringler of Fairfield; grandson and wife, Charles William and Elizabeth Moore of Fairfield; great-granddaughter and husband, Kristen and Mike Corbett of Fairfield; great-granddaughter, Theresa of Spokane, Wash.; and great-great-granddaughter, Tyla Moi of Fairfield.

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and a OES and SPRSI service at 7 p.m. at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Orlando Joseph Nutini

At his request, a private burial was held for Orlando Joseph Nutini, 75, of Vacaville in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mr. Nutini died Oct. 14, 1998, at his residence after a long illness.

Born Sept. 7, 1923, in Wisconsin, he moved to Vacaville nine years ago. He worked as an electronics troubleshooter for an electronics company. He also served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Nutini is survived by his wife, Frances of Vacaville.

Memorial contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Vaca Hills Chapel.

Betty Jean Tuyls

A memorial service for Betty Jean Tuyls, 68, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Saturday in McCune Garden Chapel.

Chaplain Keith Knauf will preside. Inurnment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek, Wis.

Mrs. Tuyls died Oct. 14, 1998, in Sacramento after a long illness.

Born Jan. 9, 1930, in Milwaukee, she lived in Vacaville for four years. She was a former vice president of Edgewood Bank in Greenfield, Wis., and four years ago retired to Vacaville.

Mrs. Tuyls enjoyed playing golf, tennis and gardening.

Mrs. Tuyls is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Carla of Vacaville, and Charles W. and Corrine of Lake Mills, Wis.; grandchildren, Danielle and Kristina of Vacaville and Nathan and Dana of Lake Mills, Wis.; brothers, Walter Eilbrecht of Sun City, Ariz., and James Eilbrecht of Franklin, Wis.

Memorial contributions can be made to The Parkinson's Institute, 1170 Morse Ave., Sunnyvale 94089-1605.

Arrangements are by McCune Garden Chapel.

Ceferino Q. Bonifacio

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ceferino Q. Bonifacio, 78, of Suisun will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

The Rev. Michael Downey will officiate. Interment will be private.

Mr. Bonifacio died Oct. 15, 1998, in David Grant Medical Center.

Born Feb. 14, 1920, in the Philippine Islands, he lived in Suisun for one year. He worked for McDonald's in custodial services for 10 years, received a bachelor's degree in science and was a teacher before retiring. He served in the Philippine Army. He was a member of American Legion.

Mr. Bonifacio is survived by his wife, Liberata of Suisun; daughter, Emeline Ladeau of Suisun; son, Alexander of Fremont; sister, Diang Mananzala of Philippine Islands; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Irma Brenner

Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Irma Brenner, 63, of Suisun will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Church.

The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela will officiate. Inurnment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Brenner died Oct. 14, 1998, at her home in Suisun after a long illness.

Born Aug. 2, 1935, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, she lived in Suisun for 20 years. She worked as a credit manager in the jewelry business for more than 20 years and worked for Crescent Jewelers for 12 years.

Mrs. Brenner enjoyed collecting dolls.

Mrs. Brenner is survived by daughter, Cynthia Maria del Valle of Suisun; sons, Richardo R. del Valle and Charles J. del Valle, both of Suisun; sister, Eufemia Chammorro of San Francisco; brothers, Jose Serra Hernandez and Oscar Hernandez, both of Honduras; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and rosary at 7 p.m. at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers: Kaiser Hospice Program, 975 Sereno Drive, Vallejo 94590.

Charles Curtis Trumbly

Memorial services for Charles Curtis Trumbly, 84, of Vacaville will be held at a later date.

Born May 18, 1914, in Santa Cruz, Mr. Trumbly died Oct. 1, 1998, in Vacaville.

A resident of Vacaville since 1952, Mr. Trumbly graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1932 and worked for Bank of America before he joined the Army. During World War II, he served as a chemical warfare supply noncommissioned officer. He married Ruby Glick Doane in 1944 and returned to work at Bank of America until he retired in 1977 after 41 years.

He was a member of the Lions Club of Vacaville and was instrumental in organizing the Vaca Valley Gem & Mineral Club, in which he was active in lapidary activities. He also enjoyed woodworking.

Mr. Trumbly is survived by his wife, Ruby of Vacaville; brother, Lowell of Magalia; son and daughter-in-law, John and Shona of Mount Holly, N.J.; grandsons, Erich, of Orlando, Fla., Shawn of Laguna Beach, and Travis of Mount Holly, N.J.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Nautilus Society through Skyview Memorial Park in Vallejo.

Memorial contributions can be made to the NorthBay Hospice Program, 1300 Olive Road Suite 210, Fairfield 94533, or a charity of the donor's choice.

James O. Bishop

Funeral services for James O. Bishop, 91, of Vacaville will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Nadeau Family Funeral Home.

Clergy from Trinity Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Napa Valley Memorial Gardens.

Born Nov. 16, 1906, in Sylvania, Mo., Mr. Bishop died Oct. 17, 1998 in Vacaville.

A self employed carpenter for 15 years, Mr. Bishop lived in Vacaville for the past three years and for 50 years in Sonoma prior to that. He was employed by the state of California at the Sonoma Developmental Center where he was a psychiatric technician for 20 years. He also was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Evelyn of Vacaville; sister, Nina Morningstar of Ventura; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna K. Kohler in October 1997.

A visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave.

Robert W. Holbert

Graveside services for Robert W. Holbert, 73, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rockville Cemetery.

The Rev. Stan Sanderson will officiate. Interment will follow.

Born Oct. 12, 1925, in Neosho, Mo., Mr. Holbert died Oct. 16, 1998, in Vacaville.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and worked at the Black and Decker store in Vacaville. He was an avid woodworker and loved race cars and fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie of Vacaville; daughters, Sharon South of San Jose and Susan Shaver of Southern California; stepdaughter, Marla Shapiro of Vacaville; son, Randy of Southern California; stepson, James Robinson of Hesperia; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1652 W.  Texas St., Fairfield 94533.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Austin Junior Laughlin

Funeral services for Austin Junior Laughlin, 68, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W.  Texas St., Fairfield.

Members of the F.& A.M. Suisun Lodge No. 55 will officiate. Burial will be in the Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield.

Mr. Laughlin died Oct. 15, 1998, in Fairfield after a brief illness.

Born Nov. 30, 1929, in San Francisco, Mr. Laughlin lived in Fairfield the past 58 years.

An Armijo High School graduate in 1949, Mr. Laughlin worked as a Pacific Bell repairman for 33 years before retiring in 1985. He also was in the National Guard until being called to active duty in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He remained in the National Guard until 1961.

Mr. Laughlin was a member of the Masons, Suisun Lodge No. 55; Royal Order of the Moose, Lodge No. 861; and the Retired Telephone Operators of America.

He also enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce; and daughters, Janet and Donna, both of Fairfield. Mr. Laughlin was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Shirley 'Terry' Willmschen

Funeral services for Shirley "Terry" Willmschen, 62, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Vaca Hills Chapel. Chaplain Keith Knauf will officiate.

Mrs. Willmschen died Oct. 17, 1998, in NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield after a two-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Born March 20, 1936, in Fargo, N.D., she moved to Vacaville 20 years ago. She worked as a PBX operator for 40 years and most recently with BCS Communications.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially making blankets. She loved playing with her grandchildren. She was deeply loved and her heart of gold and kind smile will be forever missed by family and friends.

Mrs. Willmschen is survived by her husband, Marvin, of 38 years; sons, Stephen and Mark of Vacaville and Keith of Pleasant Hill; daughter, Melissa Lusk of Vacaville; three brothers; four sisters; and six grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family trust fund c/o Marvin Willmschen, 169 Kearney Way, Vacaville 95687.

Connie C. Azuar

Funeral services for Connie C. Azuar, 76, of Vallejo will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Skyview Memorial Lawn, 200 Rollingwood Drive in Vallejo.

The Rev. Keith DeVries of Community Presbyterian Church of Vallejo will officiate.

The family will hold a private inurnment.

Mrs. Azuar died Oct. 17, 1998, at Mount Diablo Hospital in Concord after a short illness.

Born on Sept. 15, 1922, in Winters, she lived in Vallejo for 52 years, working as a secretary at Solano Junior High School for 12 years until retiring in 1974.

She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church of Vallejo and a volunteer at Sutter-Solano Hospital. She also enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening and oil painting.

Mrs. Azuar is survived by Joseph, her husband of 52 years; son, Jeffrey of Vallejo; sisters, Julia Carreon of Arbuckle, Carmen Borden of Vacaville and Toni Ichtertz of Woodland; and granddaughter, Amanda Geller of San Diego.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis; sisters, Francis Ramos, Mary Ramos and Lola Ramos.

A visitation at Skyview will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Christopher Michael Easterly

Memorial services for Christopher Michael Easterly, 22, of Morgan Hill were held Oct. 17 in Valley Free Evangelical Church.

Pastor Chris Alderton officiated. Inurnment was private.

Mr. Easterly died Oct. 13, 1998, in Vacaville from injuries suffered when he was hit by a train.

Born Dec. 16, 1975, in Mountain View, he lived in Vacaville for seven years and lived in Morgan Hill the last two years. He was a salesclerk for Tower Records.

Mr. Easterly enjoyed music, fishing, the outdoors and the 49ers.

Mr. Easterly is survived by his mother and stepfather, Karyn and Gary  Johnson of Vacaville; father, Douglas of Morgan Hill; brother, Jason Easterly of Arizona; paternal grandmother, Joyce A. of Red Bluff; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Arnett of Vacaville. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sandee.

Memorial contributions can be made to any organization dealing with alcohol and drug abuse.
