De'Andre Ferious Domino Jr.

Funeral services for De'Andre Ferious Domino Jr., 6 months, of Fairfield will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Gigi Grant will officiate. Disposition will be in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

De'Andre died Feb. 4, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Born Aug. 2, 1998, in Fairfield, he lived there for 6 months.

De'Andre is survived by his parents, De'Andre Sr. and Joselyn of Fairfield; sisters, Daidria, Fererina, Jacklyn, Rahnyah and Keiona, all of Fairfield; grandparents, Stephenie and Herb Franklin of San Jose and Grafton  White Jr. of Fort Worth,  Texas; numerous aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

H. Eugene Mitchell

There will be no formal services for H. Eugene Mitchell, 82, of Suisun. Inurnment will also be private.

Mr. Mitchell died Feb. 6, 1999, in Sutter Solano Medical Center, Vallejo, after a short illness.

Born Nov. 20, 1916, in Seattle, Wash., he lived in Suisun for four years. He was in the U.S. Air Force, World War II and Korea. He retired as a major from the Air Force Reserves in 1985. He also served as an engineer and district manager for Pacific Bell of Northern California, retiring in 1977.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Frances of Suisun; daughter, Melinda Ames of Paso Robles; son, Craig of Chicago, Ill.; brother, Robert James of Paulsbro, Wash.; sister, Marge Bosserman of Seattle, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Jesse Robert Smith

Memorial services for Jesse Robert Smith, 72, of Vacaville will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bethany Lutheran Church.

Pastor Lester Seto of Bethany Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Smith died Feb. 7, 1999, in VacaValley Hospital after a long illness.

Born Nov. 1, 1926, in Missouri, he lived in the area for seven years. He worked as an engineer for 36 years with Aerojet and jet propulsion labs.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Helen of Vacaville; three daughters; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Don Kreb of Fairfield; brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Emmett L. and Karen Smith of Fair Oaks; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made a favorite charity.

Arrangements are by Vaca Hills Chapel.

Robert Henry Jones

Funeral services for Robert Henry Jones, 87, of Ukiah will be 1 p.m. today at Vaca Hills Chapel in Vacaville.

Pastor Thomas Smith of Community Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mr.  Jones died Feb. 8, 1999, at his residence in Ukiah after a long illness.

Born Dec. 11, 1911, in Walney Island, England, he lived in Ukiah for about a year. He was a former resident of Leisure Town for 20 years. He worked at North American Rockwell as a quality control engineer for 15 years. He participated in many Leisure Town activities.

Mr.  Jones is survived by his daughter, Lin Park of Ukiah; son, Paul of Menlo Park; sister, Eveline Clark of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Jill Arciero of Mill Valley, Stephanie Arciero of Santa Rosa and Lee Arciero of Sacramento.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in Vaca Hills Chapel.

Memorial contributions can be made to The Nature Conservancy.

Edward Sorrells

Funeral services for Edward Sorrells, 67, of Oakland will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield. Interment will be in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Mr. Sorrells died Jan. 5, 1999, in Highland Hospital, Oakland after a short illness.

Born March 2, 1931, in Chattanooga, Tenn., he lived in Oakland for six years. He worked as a truck driver for various companies over the past 20 years.

Mr. Sorrells is survived by his mother, Lena of Suisun; sisters, Vivian of Suisun and Gloria of Oakland; brothers, Fredward of Petersburgh, Fla., and Lee of Suisun; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Irmgard Helene Tincher

Funeral services for Irmgard Helene Tincher, 62, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. Friday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Stan Sanderson will officiate. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery.

Mrs. Tincher died Feb. 7, 1999, in University of California, San Francisco, Medical Center after a short illness.

Born Jan. 26, 1937, in Berlin, Germany, she lived in Fairfield for 34 years.

Mrs. Tincher is survived by her husband, Jarrell R. of Fairfield; daughter, Jacqueline of San Francisco; and sisters, Ingelborg Preising, Cristel Steinbuch and Luise Kettenburg, all of Berlin.

Sylvia Irene Luna

Funeral services for Sylvia Irene Luna, 49, of Saugus will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church.

Pastor Milton Steck of Trinity Baptist Church will preside. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Luna died Feb. 9, 1999, in Saugus after a lengthy illness.

Born Jan. 7, 1950, in El Paso,  Texas, she was a teacher at Ulatis Elementary School. She graduated from Loretto High School in El Paso and Sacramento State University.

Mrs. Luna enjoyed playing racquetball and reading.

Mrs. Luna is survived by her mother, Graciela Frietze of El Paso,  Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Luis and Dareth of Saugus; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Vern Glaser of Panama City, Fla.; son, David of Van Nuys; daughter, Inez of San Diego; brothers, Hector Frietze, Jose Frietze, and Daniel Frietz; sisters, Aida Lewis, Irma Lopez and Martha Frietze; and grandsons, David Glaser and Josiah Luna.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Irene Luna Ulatis School Scholarship Fund, c/o Vaca Valley Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 5267, Vacaville, 95696.

Maximo N. Asuncion

Funeral services for Maximo N. Asuncion of Vacaville will be 1 p.m. Friday in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela of Holy Spirit Catholic Church will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Asuncion died Feb. 7, 1999, in Vacaville after a long illness.

Born April 14, 1905, in the Philippine Islands, he lived in Vacaville for 15 years. He owned and operated his own cab company in Honolulu, Hawaii for 40 years.

Mr. Asuncion is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Julie of Vacaville and Felipe and Esmria of Los Angeles; son, Maximo Jr. of Berkeley; daughter, Kunsing of the Philippines; daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Larry Neino of Hawaii and Rose and Bob Pursell of Vacaville; brother, Moses Lilinoe of Hawaii; 30 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Bill Maples

A memorial service for Bill Maples, 70, will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Opera House at the corner of Main and Davis streets in downtown Vacaville.

Mr. Maples died Jan. 17, 1999, in Santa Maria following a short illness.

He was the founder of Bill's Kids, a nonprofit organization that offers financial support to severely disabled youth across the county.

Mr. Maples had lived in the area for many years and first became involved with helping the disabled in the 1970s while organizing fund-raisers for the Irene Larsen Center. The center serves children with disabilities.

Memorial contributions can be made to Bill's Kids Foundation, P.O. Box 5443, Vacaville, 95696.

Norine Faye DeVos

Memorial services for Norine Faye DeVos, 65, of Fairfield will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Parkway Community Church.

Pastor John Hanson will officiate. Inurnment will be private in Redding Memorial Park.

Mrs. DeVos died Feb. 2, 1999, in Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield after a long illness.

Born April 21, 1933, in Los Angeles, she lived in Fairfield for three years. She worked as an accountant for Cox Communications of Irving for 10 years until 1995.

Mrs. DeVos is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Christi and Brian Warbis of Fairfield and Cathy and Mark Gonzalez of Antioch; son, Anthony Quaranta of Redondo Beach; father, Clarence Smith of Redding; brother, Gene Smith of El Sobrante; ex-husband, Leonard of Bakersfield; and eight grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Mary Kathryn Graves

Funeral services for Mary Kathryn Graves, 85, of Fairfield will be 4 p.m. today in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Pastor Jim Boyd of Grace Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park, San Fernando.

Mrs. Graves died Feb. 10, 1999, in her home after a short illness.

Born Jan. 29, 1914, in Melissa,  Texas, she lived in Fairfield for 40 years.

Mrs. Graves was a homemaker who enjoyed and loved her family. She also enjoyed writing letters.

Mrs. Graves is survived by her daughters, Mary Faith Mardis of Dinuba and Ginger Morris of Fairfield; sons, Lewis of Antioch and Glen of Fairfield; sisters, Ruby Bounds of McKinney,  Texas, and Cora Ernestine of Missouri; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, in 1967 and her son David in 1969.

Adele Parry Benton Heyden

No formal services will be held for Adele Parry Benton Heyden, 99, of Vacaville. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Heyden died Feb. 6, 1999, in Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

Born Oct. 22, 1899, in Rochester, N.Y., she lived in Vacaville for 3 1/2 years. Prior to Vacaville, she lived in Rochester for 65 years and Rossmoor and Walnut Creek for 31 years. She and her first husband, George Alden Benton II, came to California in 1964 and settled in Rossmoor, near Walnut Creek, where he died in 1971.

Her second husband, Walter J. Heyden, also of Rossmoor, died in 1981. She was a graduate of West High School, Rochester, and was a fine-arts student at Nazareth College, Pittsford, N.Y. She was a member of DAR, Rochester Chapter, a YWCA founder, member of the All Saints Episcopal Church of Rochester, Linnets Guild, Peacock Organization, Horseman's Association, Pink Ladies, Art Guild, and the Hope Lutheran Church in Rossmoor.

She enjoyed painting, bridge and travel.

Mrs. Heyden is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, George Alden III and Mary Benton of Castro Valley, and Parry C. and Betty Benton of Vacaville; grandchildren, George A. Benton IV and Laura Benton of San Leandro, Mardele and Patrick Miller of Hayward, and Julianne, Doug George and John Michael Benton of Vacaville; and five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Violet Doris 'Bobbi' Kepple

Celebration of Life for Violet "Bobbi" Doris Kepple, 85, of Rancho Cordova will be 2 p.m. Sunday in her granddaughter Kimberly Flores' home.

The family will officiate. Disposition will be private.

Mrs. Kepple died Feb. 2, 1999, in Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Home after a long illness.

Born Jan. 8, 1914, in Glenn, she lived in Rancho Cordova for eight years. She worked as a sales clerk for J.C. Penney Co. for 28 years.

Mrs. Kepple is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Rosalie and Toy Tate of Puyallup, Wash., and Lynda and Harvey Callahan of Arkansas; son and daughter-in-law, David Kepple and Alice  Jones of Fairfield; sister, Melva Erskine of Dover, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, 1312 Maryland St., Fairfield 94533.
