Ronald Manuel Young
A funeral for Ronald Manuel Young, 61, of Fairfield will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fairmont Memorial Park, 1901 Union Ave.
Bishop Bob Parini of the Church Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fairfield will preside. Disposition will be private.
Mr. Young died Sept. 24, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center.
Born March 18, 1938, in Toole, Utah, he moved to Fairfield five years ago from Salt Lake City. He worked for Salt Lake City Public Works.
Mr. Young is survived by his wife, May of Fairfield; son, Jimmy of Fairfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra of Fairfield, Peggy and Philip Lugo of Salt Lake City, Kathy and Mark Brackett of Fairfield and Tarra and Keith Perez of Fairfield; brothers, Mike and Melvin of Utah; sisters, Susie Nybo and Loretta Waters of Utah and Marilyn Jensen of Fairfield; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements were made by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.
Israel Chavez Cervantes
Visitation for Israel Chavez Cervantes, 22, of Fairfield will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Caltzontzin, Michoacan, Mexico.
Born April 4, 1977, in Caltzontzin, Michoacan, Mexico, Mr. Cervantes died Sept. 26, 1999, in Fairfield, the victim of a homicide.
Mr. Cervantes lived in Fairfield for 10 years and worked as a carpenter with Ellison Construction for the past five years. He also had worked with River City Construction. Mr. Cervantes was a coach for the Caltzontzin soccer team in Fairfield.
Mr. Cervantes is survived by his wife, Tori of Fairfield; daughter, Jasmine of Fairfield; sister, Lucila Isidro Cervantes of Fairfield; brothers, Lionel, Francisco and Oscar, all of Fairfield; mother, Juana Cervantes Chavez of Fairfield; and grandparents, Nicolasa and Jesus of Fairfield.
Walter Joel 'Joe' Haskill
Private family services will be held for Walter Joel "Joe" Haskill, 70, of Chiloquin, Ore. Cremation will be at Klamath Cremation Service.
Born April 17, 1929, in Long Beach, Mr. Haskill died Sept. 17, 1999, in Chiloquin.
Mr. Haskill attended Vacaville High School and then entered the Navy, eventually serving 20 years.
He married Margaret Borges in Reno in 1950. The couple traveled around the world, spending time in Guam, Trinidad, British West Indies and several states in the United States. Upon retiring from the Navy in 1966, the two made their home in Placerville. He worked for the state of California for 18 years as a maintenance mechanic. In 1990, the two moved to Bonanza, Ore., and then in 1997 moved to Chiloquin.
Mr. Haskill enjoyed hunting and fishing, and when he was in the Navy enjoyed catching boa constrictors, donating some of his catches to various zoos around the country. Mr. Haskill raised a few head of cattle on a small farm and was an excellent welder and woodworker who could fix just about anything. Mr. Haskill was a member of the Fleet Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret of Chiloquin; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Connie Haskill of Susanville; son, David Haskill of El Dorado; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dale Kibbey of Sparks, Nev.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mona Haskill of Arizona; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dave Hurzburg of Placerville.
Mr. Haskill was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Corrine Gladys Behrens
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCune Garden Chapel for Corrine Gladys (Bergan) Behrens, 70, of Vacaville. Ed Sanderson of the Church of Christ will preside. Burial will be in Rock Prairie Cemetery
in Minnesota.
Born Aug. 6, 1929, in Elbow Lake, Minn., Mrs. Behrens died Sept. 29, 1999, at VacaValley Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Behrens was a homemaker. She lived in Napa from 1956 to 1992 before moving to Vacaville.
Survivors include her former husband, Wilbert of Colusa; daughters, Carole Wilson of Colusa, Patricia Green of Vacaville, Gayle Kelch of Vacaville and Nancy Scott of Vacaville; sons, Bradley of American Canyon and Brian of Rohnert Park; sisters, Eunice Berskow of Elbow Lake and Muriel Berskow of Glenwood, Minn.; brother, Allen Bergan of Conroe, Texas; and grandchildren, Rodger Wilson, Katy Green, Alexander Scott and Hannah Scott, all of Vacaville, Elizabeth Wilson of Fredericksburg, Va., Matthew Wilson of Williams, Brenda, Jessica and Jacob of American Canyon, Edward of Boise, Idaho, and Daniel, Andrew and Diane of Rohnert Park.

Dean M. Hanson
At his request, no services will be held for Dean M. Hanson, 76, of Vacaville.
Mr. Hanson died Sept. 27, 1999.
Born on July 1, 1923, in Hope, Kan., he retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of active duty as a chief master sergeant. He was a food service superintendent at many Air Force bases to which he was assigned. After his military career, he worked and retired from civil service at Travis Air Force Base. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Travis Golf Club.
Mr. Hanson is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yvonne (Payton) of Vacaville; daughter, Glora Jones Miller of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Linda Chessi of Calistoga; grandsons, Robert Jones of Burbank and William Russell Jones and his wife, Marcie; and great-grandsons, Ryan and Brandon of Portland, Ore. He also had many relatives in the Seymour, Mo., area.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Vacaville Fire Department.
Jeannette R. Looney
A funeral for Jeannette R. Looney, 59, of Dixon will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Southern Baptist Church in Davis.
Pastor Exter Hardy will preside. Interment will be in Silveyville Cemetery
in Dixon.
Born March 4, 1940, in Redwood City, Mrs. Looney died Sept. 20, 1999, in Sutter County in a car accident.
She was a homemaker and artist who enjoyed participating in craft shows. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Perry of Dixon; father, Jacob Sather of Chester; mother, Helen Sather of Chester; brother, John Sather of San Mateo; son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Marcia of Chico; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Asa Utterback of Woodland; and grandchildren, Hailey Paine, Chase and Virginia, all of Chico, and Luke, Nicolas, Hannah and Sarah Utterback, all of Woodland.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home in Dixon.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Southern Baptist Church in Davis or the Pregnancy Support Group.
William Mullen
A memorial service with military honors for William Mullen will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in McCune Garden Chapel. The Rev. Benedict DeLeon of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Inurnment will be private.
Mr. Mullen, 54, died Sept. 27, 1999, in Vacaville after a long illness.
Mr. Mullen was born on Nov. 8, 1944, in Union Town, Pa. He graduated from Middle Town High School in Middle Town, N.Y., in 1962. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years as a flight engineer before retiring.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Mullen is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda of Vacaville; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Ramona of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Kevin and Regina of Sacramento; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Al Cerach of Waldwick, N.J.; and grandchildren, Joseph Mullen of Sacramento, Desirae of Sacramento, Joshua of Washington, Alexandria Cerach of New Jersey and Shannon Mullen of Washington.

Albert John Timko
No services will be held for Albert John Timko, 68, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be private in Fairmont Memorial Park.
Born Nov. 7, 1930, in Salinas, Mr. Timko died Sept. 28, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center after a long illness.
Mr. Timko was a bus driver for VacaValley Bus Lines for 25 years before he retired in 1989. He had lived in Fairfield for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary R. of Fairfield; daughter, Katherine Brooks of Dixon; sons, Michael J. and Nathan R. of Fairfield; brother, William E. Gordon of King City; and six grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Society of Solano County, 817 Missouri St., No. 4, Fairfield.

Beulah Jewel Walhood
A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church for Beulah Jewel Walhood, 85, of Vacaville.
Pastor Allen Schoonover will preside. Interment will be in Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Born July 22, 1914, in Iowa, Mrs. Walhood died Sept. 29, 1999, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo after a long illness. She had lived in Vacaville for 15 years.
Mrs. Walhood worked for Pioneer Rubber Co. in Pittsburg for five years and for Contra Costa County for 15 years. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Vacaville.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, William and Patricia Parscal of Concord and Robert and Teresa Parscal of Fairfield; daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Billy Davis of El Dorado, Kan.; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 180 E. Monte Vista Ave., Vacaville.
Herman M. Benjamin Jr.
Memorial services for Herman M. Benjamin Jr., 55, of Suisun City will be 10 a.m. Oct. 9 at Chapel No. 1 on Travis Air Force Base.
Chaplain Burnet will officiate. Mr. Benjamin's ashes will be scattered at sea.
Mr. Benjamin died Sept. 29, 1999, at David Grant Medical Center on the base after a long illness.
Born March 20, 1944, in Shreveport, La., he lived in Suisun City for 13 years. He worked as a stationary engineer at J&J Maintenance. In 1986, he retired from the U.S. Navy, where he was a chief warrant officer for more than 25 years. He was also a member of the Solano Stix Golf Club.
Mr. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Joan; daughters, Andrea of Davis and Sonja Turner of Hayward; sons, Mathew of Suisun City and Derrick of Washington; and sisters, Frances Chisley of Stockton and Delores Johnson of Las Vegas.
Eva A. 'Nanny' Deleski
Funeral services for Eva A. "Nanny" Deleski, 89, of Vacaville, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave., Livermore.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Callaghan's. Mrs. Deleski will be buried at Roselawn Cemetery
in Livermore.
Born Oct. 14, 1909, in Nebraska, Mrs. Deleski died Sept. 30, 1999, in Fairfield.
She lived in Vacaville for 22 years. Prior to that she lived in Livermore for many years.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, gardening and decorating.
She is survived by her daughter, Colleen Ronda of Vacaville; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward John Ronda Sr., and son, Edward.

Kyle Duane Stoerck
A funeral for Kyle Duane Stoerck will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kaysville, Utah. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in American Fork, Utah.
Kyle, 17, formerly of Vacaville, died Tuesday in a car accident in Farmington Canyon.
Born Feb. 2, 1982, in Balboa, Republic of Panama, Kyle liked sports, Tuesday-night activities at church - especially if they were followed by a basketball game, teasing his sisters, playing with his younger sisters and going out to do things with his friends.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Kurt and Leslie; sisters, Kimberly, Karly, Kerry, Kandyce, Kathryn, Krystalen and Kaleigh Raye; and grandmothers, Peggy Pace Hess and Ardith.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Keagen; grandfathers, Weston Pace and Donald; and aunt and uncle, Pam and Ray Spethman.
Services are under the direction of Berg Mortuary.
