Fred Silvan Cuellar

Services for Fred Silvan Cuellar, 65, of Grand Junction,  Colo., were held Sept. 29 in Colorado.

Mr. Cuellar died Sept. 25, 1999, at Community Hospital in Colorado.

Born on March 23, 1934, in Fairfield, he lived in the area until moving to Grand Junction in 1973. He was involved in the building of many bridges and buildings throughout the area and later managed a Union 76 gas station in Dixon.

He also played drums in a small band.

After moving to Colorado, he worked at several welding and mechanical jobs. He opened an iron shop and then an antiques shop.

He enjoyed his retirement, remaining interested in antiques, music, arrowhead hunting and fishing.

Mr. Cuellar is survived by his wife, Karen of Grand Junction; daughters, Belinda Ann Dean of Colorado, Toni Marie Hoffman of  Texas, Dolores Lightfoot of Arizona and Rosemary Helm of  Texas; brother, Frank of California; and sisters, Rose Marie Dugger and Helen Pena, both of California. He also had seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter, Dawn Marie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 474, Grand Junction,  Colo., 81502.

Barbara J. Stephan

No services will be held for Barbara J. Stephan, 84, of Vacaville at her request. Inurnment will be private, and her remains will be scattered off the coast of Marin.

Mrs. Stephan died on Oct. 5, 1999, in Vacaville.

Born on Sept. 7, 1915, in Chicago, she lived in the Leisure Town area for the past 35 years.

Mrs. Stephan is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Carolyn Tarr of Jacksonville; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, John and Sandra of Fort Meyers, Fla.; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Lois and Leroy Greffin of Engleside, Ill.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Robert J. Talbot

A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert J. Talbot, 83, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

The Rev. Michael Downey will officiate.

A graveside service and blessing of the grave will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield, with a vigil service at 7 p.m.

Mr. Talbot died Oct. 5, 1999, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo after a long illness.

Born on May 5, 1916, in Lawrence, Mass., he lived in Fairfield for 37 years.

Mr. Talbot worked in building maintenance for the civil service at Travis Air Force Base for more than 23 years. He also was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he served as eucharistic minister for several years.

Mr. Talbot is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Fairfield; sons, David of Mount Angel, Ore., Douglas of San Jose and Daniel of Bremerton, Wash.; brother, Rowland of Massachusetts; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Thomas Sheldon Tiberghien

No services will be held for Thomas Sheldon Tiberghien, 75, of Fairfield at his request. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Tiberghien died Oct. 1, 1999, in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born on July 6, 1924, in Dubuque, Iowa, he lived in Fairfield for the past three years. He lived in Vallejo from 1989 to 1996 and in San Francisco from 1962 to 1989.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a curator for the wax museum at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco for 27 years before retiring in 1989. He loved animals.

Mr. Tiberghien is survived by his close friends, Sharon Gregory of Green Valley and Margie A. Gomez of San Francisco.

Chong Cha Bachman

Funeral services for Chong Cha Bachman, 54, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Monday in Vaca Hills Chapel. Hong Heng San will officiate. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Bachman died Oct. 7, 1999, in Vaca Valley Hospital following a long illness.

Born June 6, 1945, in Pusan, Korea, she had lived in the area for 24 years.

Mrs. Bachman is survived by her daughter, Kim Tu of Vacaville; sister, Chong Suk Handershott of Colorado Springs,  Colo.; and grandchildren, Sandrea Tu, Miranda Tu and Kelsey Tu, all of Vacaville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Vaca Hills Chapel.

Robert W. Greenfield Sr.

A memorial service with military honors for Robert W. Greenfield Sr., 75, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. today. The Rev. Nathaniel Bragg will officiate.

Mr. Greenfield died Oct. 6, 1999, in Fairfield.

Born on June 28, 1924, in Pamplin, Va., he moved to Vacaville 37 years ago. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 27 years of service as a senior master sergeant and then continued to serve the community as a teacher in local schools and at the California Medical Facility. He belonged to the 24th Infantry Regiment Association and the Vacaville Senior Citizens Club.

Mr. Greenfield is survived by his daughters, Patricia Morris Gooding and Lisa, both of Fairfield; son and daughter-in-law, Lou and Duleesa Morris of Fairfield; sons, Gary and Robert Jr., both of Fairfield; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flower, the family requests that contributions be made to the United Negro College Fund.

Nellie E. Lambrecht

Graveside services for Nellie E. Lambrecht, 101, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito.

Mrs. Lambrecht died Oct. 6, 1999, in Vacaville.

Born Dec. 1, 1897, in Price Creek, she was a resident of Vacaville for 10 years and a former resident of El Cerrito.

Mrs. Lambrecht was the owner/operator of Lambrecht Building Materials in Richmond and was a member of Mission Bell Chapter No. 205, O.E.S. and was past president of Grant School Parent-Teacher Association in Richmond.

She was the beloved wife for 58 years of the late Everett C. Lambrecht and is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Arthur French of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Kathleen of Rocklin; grandchildren, Cary French, Gail Williams, Alan Roi French, Eric and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Everett Jr.

Donations in Mrs. Lambrecht's memory can be made to CANHR, 1610 Bush St., San Francisco, 94109.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sunset View Mortuary in Berkeley.

Emma J. Wilson

Funeral services for Emma J. Wilson, 54, of Vacaville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen's C.M.E. Church in Fairfield.

Pastor Joseph Davis will officiate. Visitation will be at the church from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Fla.

Mrs. Wilson died Oct. 6, 1999, at VacaValley Hospital.

Born on May 2, 1945, in Jacksonville, Fla., she moved to Vacaville nine years ago. She worked at the Travis Air Force Base Exchange as a sales associate for 20 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's C.M.E. Church and was a member of the Whoopie Bowling League at Fairfield Bowl.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, David of Vacaville; daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Wallace Berry of Yotoka Air Force Base, Japan; daughter, Kimberly of Vacaville; sons, David Jr. of Dallas and Jason of Vacaville; sister, Lucy Harris of Jacksonville, Fla.; two granddaughters; and six grandsons.

Janet Mary McGraw

Funeral services for Janet Mary McGraw, 59, of Napa will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church in Napa.

The Rev. George Risden will preside. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Claffey & Rota Funeral Home in Napa with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Mrs. McGraw died Oct. 8, 1999, in Napa after a long illness.

Born Jan. 21, 1940, in Richmond, she and her husband owned and operated McGraw Tractor and Dump Truck Service in Napa for 15 years until 1991. She was a member of St. Apollinaris Catholic Church and enjoyed her ranch, raising farm animals and Saint Bernards for 30 years.

Mrs. McGraw is survived by her husband, Ronald of Napa; daughter, Maureen of Napa; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Kris of Napa; brother, Ronald Kramer of El Sobrante; and granddaughters, Courtney and Ali of Napa.

Memorial contributions can be sent to Kaiser Hospice, Kaiser Hospital Vallejo, 975 Sereno Drive, Vallejo, 94589.

John B. Allen

Funeral services will be held for John B. Allen, 73, of Vacaville, at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Pastor Wes Nordman will preside. Burial will be at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Mr. Allen died Oct. 7, 1999, in Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Vallejo after a sudden illness.

Born Sept. 12, 1926, in Birmingham, Ala., he lived in Vacaville and Solano County for 21 years. He worked for 45 years with DiSalvo Trucking. He was a past member of the Teamsters Union.

Mr. Allen enjoyed golf, camping, coaching and being involved with youth activities.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Elenor of Vacaville; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Catherine and James and Michelle, all of Vacaville; daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and Rick Salas of Vacaville, Colleen and Mark Dargan of Citrus Heights; son, Patrick of Vacaville; sisters, Faye McCoy of Redding, Pauline Cagle of New Mexico and Betty Nicholson of Fairfield,  Texas; fifteen grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 5 to 8 p.m. today at McCune Garden Chapel.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Society of Solano County, 817 Missouri St., No. 4, Fairfield, 94533.

Gail Burnley

Funeral services for Mrs. Gail Burnley, 53, of Fairfield will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. The Rev. Jasper Lee of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church will preside. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Entombment will be at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Burnley died Oct. 9, 1999, at Sunbridge Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield after a short illness.

Born on Nov. 27, 1945, in TerreHaute, Ind., she worked for Brickway Glass Company in Oakland before opening Gail's Accessories in Richmond in the 1970s. She worked as a barber in the Bay Area, Fairfield and Las Vegas before her illness forced her to retire. She enjoyed dancing, posing for pictures and life.

Mrs. Burnley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stormy and Rev. Jasper Lee of Fairfield; father and stepmother, Charles II and Dolores of Palmdale; sisters, Sharon Barrett of Detroit and Carol Denise Webb of Thousand Oaks; brothers, Charles III of Santa Clarita and Damon Ronald of Pacoima; stepsisters, Lorraine Marshall of Huntington Park and Sharon Males of Oakland; stepbrother, Earl Belcarris of Silver Springs, Md.; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, one aunt and an uncle.

John M. 'Jack' Goldberg

Funeral services for Mr. John M. "Jack" Goldberg, 68, of Suisun will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rockville Cemetery in Suisun. The Rev. Michael Downey of Holy Spirit Catholic Church will officiate.

Mr. Goldberg died Oct. 9, 1999, in Fairfield after a long illness.

Born March 7, 1931, in New York City, he lived in Suisun for 51 years. He was past president of the Suisun-Fairfield Military Affairs Committee, past charter president of the 20/30 Club in Fairfield and past president of the Northern California Chrysler/Plymouth Dealer Advertising Association.

He was a Chrysler/Plymouth dealer for 34 years in Fairfield and owner of Farallon Boats. He was a member of Green Valley Country Club from 1961 to 1997. He enjoyed commercial fishing.

Mr. Goldberg is survived by his wife, Mardy of Suisun; sons, Mike and Chris both of Fairfield; grandsons, Ian of San Rafael and Jon of Fairfield
