FARMERSVILLE -- Eula McGill, 61, of Farmersville passed away in Visalia Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001. Eula was born in Williford, Ark., on Oct. 10, 1940, to Hugh and Eseline (Jones) Shackelford. She moved to Tulare County as a small child with her family. Eula attended Farmersville schools and graduated from Exeter Union High School in 1959. After her graduation she married Mitchell McGill on June 23, 1959. She was very involved in her children's and grandchildren's school. She volunteered in their classroom and also was room mother. Eula was an excellent seamstress and loved to sew for her family and friends. She also enjoyed crafts and donated several items she made to raise money for school functions. Eula was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Farmersville and a former member of the Boys and Girls Club of Exeter.
Eula is survived by her husband, Mitchell McGill of Farmersville; daughter Cheryl Gonzales of Porterville; son Tracy McGill of Farmersville; brothers James Shackelford of Farmersville and Junior Shackelford of Exeter; three sisters, Bula Lance of Cherry Grove, Ore., June McGill of Exeter and Cathy Rowlett of Farmersville; four grandchildren, Mallory Gonzales, Ashley McGill, Damien Gonzales and Jordan McGill, and several nephews and nieces. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday at Evans-Miller Chapel, Exeter. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Exeter District Cemetery.
TULARE -- Emilysusie Morales, 5-month-old infant daughter of Christina Rodriguez of Tulare and Francisco Morales of Mexico, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, Tulare.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tulare District Cemetery.

LINDSAY -- Mario G. Sanabria, 82, of Lindsay died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001.
He was a mail room operator employed by the Herald Examiner.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery.

BAKERSFIELD -- Mary Margrette Dodson Taylor was born August 16, 1911, in Tulare. She was the first of 10 children born to Robert and Bessie Dodson. She went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on November 19, 2001. Mary attended local Tulare schools and churches and helped care for her younger siblings. She married Marvin Taylor on May 7, 1932. They were married for more than 58 years. Marvin went to be with the Lord on January 12, 1991.
Mary was employed by the Pacific Telephone Company in Woodlake prior to moving to Porterville, where she was employed by the Porterville School District. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and in later years, the Tulare Foursquare Church, and enjoyed spreading the Gospel whenever possible and thanked God for her daily blessings and food, be it at family gatherings, alone or in a café. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin, her son Donald, daughter Barbara, grandson Steven Taylor, and three sisters, Dorothy Dodson, Flora Martin and Beulah Ely. Survivors include daughter Beverly Ennis and son-in-law John of Bakersfield; daughter-in-law Thelma Taylor of Tulare; grandson Hal Ennis and wife Kenni of Bakersfield; granddaughters Deborah Breazeale and husband Dwaine of Bishop, Sherry Best and husband Larry of Visalia, Sharla Ashburn and husband Richard of Tulare; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Delmar Dodson and Calvin Dodson of Tulare and James Dodson of Visalia; three sisters, Catherine Burow, Ethel Robnett and Dottie Wilson of Tulare; and many nieces and nephews. She was loved, honored and cherished by her family and others whose lives she touched. Mary is now walking on streets of gold with loved ones who have gone to be with the Lord. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Peers-Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, Tulare. The Reverend Norman Campbell, former pastor of Bethel Assembly, will officiate. Interment will be at Tulare District Cemetery. Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Armando C. De Jesus Sr., 72, of Strathmore died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2001. He was retired.

TULARE -- Donald Ray Cosper, 61, of Tulare died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001.
He was a farm laborer for 18 years.
Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Peers Lorentzen Funeral Chapel, Tulare.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
Interment will be at Tipton-Pixley District Cemetery.
DINUBA -- Betty Louise Day, 51, of Dinuba died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001.
She was a truck driver.
Services will be private.

ARROYO GRANDE -- Diana Darlene Dick, 58, of Arroyo Grande, formerly of Visalia, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001. She owned a mortgage lending business for 14 years.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lady Family Mortuary Chapel, Arroyo Grande, with interment to take place later at Arroyo Grande District Cemetery.

Sylvia Yolanda Hernandez
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Sylvia Yolanda Hernandez, 55, of Salt Lake City, Utah, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001. She was a homemaker.
Sylvia was born on Dec. 16, 1945 in San Francisco to Francisco and Erma Franco. She was raised and educated in Dinuba. She worked as a grader for a number of years with Pandel Brothers as well as being a homemaker. Sylvia attended Mt. Zion Apostolic Church, Goshen.
Survivors include sons, Daniel Hernandez of Atascadero and Michael Hernandez of Ivanhoe; daughters, Christina Hernandez of Washington and Diane Perez of Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers, Hector Magana of Reedley, Roy Muniz of Bakersfield, Gilbert Magana of El Paso, Texas, Ivan Franco, John Franco and Joey Muniz all of Visalia; sisters, Jane Morales, Melissa Valario, Gloria Castro, Mary Arroyo all of Visalia and Soila Nunez of Orosi; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Services, Visalia. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church, Goshen. Interment will be at Smith Mountain Cemetery, Dinuba.
