Robert Keith Moorehead
Memorial services for Robert Keith Moorehead, 80, of Mesa, Ariz., will be 11 a.m. Jan. 16 at the Fairfield Masonic Lodge, 412 Travis Blvd.
Born in Creston, Iowa, Mr. Moorehead died Dec. 15, 1997, in Mesa.
Mr. Moorehead was past president of Fleming Foods and a consultant for IGA Food Stores. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a longtime resident of Fairfield and served as a Mason for 38 years.
Survivors include his companion, Juanita Heimke; nieces, Susie Watson and Barbara Wilson; four grandnephews; two grandnieces; one great-grandniece; and one great-grandnephew.
Memorial contributions can be sent to Shriners Children's Hospital.
Funeral services for Edward Brothers, 79, of Whitefield, N.H., have been held in Whitefield.
Born in 1918, in Palmer, Mass., he died Dec. 20, 1997, in Weeks Memorial Hospital in Whitefield.
He had served in the Civilian Conservation Corps fighting forest fires in the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Brothers was a survivor of the Dec. 7, 1941, Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. He served as an Army tank platoon sergeant in the Pacific theater during World War II.
He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 825 and the American Legion.
Mr. Brothers is survived by his wife, Catherine; sons, Raymond of Whitefield and Edward of Vacaville; daughters, Patricia Felgenhauer of Port Monmouth, N.J., and Kathryn Olexa of Bridgewater, N.J.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Panagiotis G. Morfidis, 90, of Fairfield, will be Wednesday in Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Vallejo.
Burial will be in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery
Born Dec. 6, 1907, in Avdira, Xanthi, Greece, he died Jan. 3, 1998, in his home after a short illness.
He lived in Fairfield 15 years and had been a sergeant in the Greek Army.
He was an owner and operator of a grocery store 60 years in Greece and enjoyed his family, traveling, reading and walking.
He was a member of the Sts. Constantine and Helen church.
Mr. Morfidis is survived by his daughter, Basiliki of Greece; son and daughter-in-law Arthur and Helen of Fairfield; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Trisagion will be 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Gypsy Leilani Anderson
A funeral Mass for Gypsy Leilani Anderson, 62, of Suisun will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
The Rev. Michael Downey will officiate. Interment will be private at Golden Gate National Cemetery
in San Bruno.
Mrs. Anderson died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at David Grant Medical Center after a long illness.
Born April 1, 1935, in the Philippine Islands, she moved to Suisun seven years ago. She worked as a nurse's aide for two years.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by daughters, Ronila of Suisun and Lorena Linebaugh of California; sons, Audie and Theodore King of Suisun, Jerald Linebaugh of San Francisco and Kenneth King of Los Angeles; sisters, Betty Mendoza of Vacaville and Encarnacion Fajayan of Reno, Nev.; brothers, Louie Casaba of Los Angeles, John Casaba of San Bruno and Jerry Casaba of Vacaville; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Born Aug. 6, 1900, in Rocksprings, Wyo., Mrs. Holmes died Jan. 3, 1998, at her home.
A resident of Winters since 1934, she was active in the Pioneer Presbyterian Church as well as other community activities.
She and her late husband purchased 20 acres in the Allendale area in the early 1920s.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Kathleen of El Macero and Oscar Jr. and Marjorie of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter, Mae Holmes Martin of Winters; special nieces that were raised as Mrs. Holmes' own, Rene Ireland and Karen Christie; grandchildren, Carl Jr., Barbara, Carolyn, Richard, Charleen Holmes Hamel, Judy Martin Prickett, Steve Martin, Bill Martin and Doug Martin; as well as 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Elvira Onate, 52, of Vacaville will be in San Jose, Jalisco, Mexico, at a future date.
Born Sept. 10, 1945, in San Jose, Jalisco, she died Dec. 31, 1997, in Vacaville after a long illness.
She lived in Vacaville nine years and had been a homemaker for 31 years who enjoyed arts and crafts and loved her family.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vacaville.
Mrs. Onate is survived by her husband, Joaquin Ayala of Mexico; daughters, Beatriz Ayala of Fairfield and Maria Ayala, Elvira Ayala, Lloyva Ayala, all of Vacaville; sons, Alejandro Ayala of Vacaville and Gabriel Ayala of Mexico; eight sisters; five brothers and 10 grandchildren.

Dorothy Mae Amaral
Dorothy Mae Amaral, 63, of Vacaville died Jan. 3, 1998, in Martinez after a short illness.
Upon her request, there will be no formal services.
Born Dec. 2, 1934, in El Cerrito, Mrs. Amaral lived in Vacaville for 10 years and had lived in Rodeo for 34 years.
She was a homemaker for 40 years and was a member of the Vacaville Order of Moose Women's Auxiliary.
Mrs. Amaral is survived by her daughter, Denise Schieber of Vacaville; son-in-law, Richard J. Schieber of Vacaville; brothers, Frank Jones of Texas, Edwin Jones of Utah, Clarence Jones of Concord, and Lorin Jones of Stockton; sisters, Doris Simmons of Albany, Lois Jones of San Pablo, Annabelle Winje of Martinez, Dolores Jensen of San Pablo, and Pauline Ward of Pinole; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial Mass for Gertrude Florence Ryan, 94, of Fairfield will be 7 p.m. Friday at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fairfield.

Born June 13, 1903, in Sherwin, Kan., Mrs. Ryan died Jan. 3, 1998, at JMH Board & Care in Vallejo after a long illness. She lived in Fairfield for two years and had lived in Wichita, Kan., for 70 years.
She retired as a sales clerk for Ketteman's Bakery in Kansas in 1978 after 20 years of service. She was a teacher at the Old One Room School in Wichita. Also, she was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wichita.
Mrs. Ryan is survived by her daughter, Patricia McDonald of Suisun City; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mary Suzanne Shull
Funeral services for Mary Suzanne Shull, 76, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. Friday at McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville.

Born Oct. 21, 1921, in Albuquerque, N.M., Mrs. Shull died Jan. 6, 1998, in Vacaville after a brief illness. She was a 42-year resident of Solano County.
Mrs. Shull was a homemaker and mother for 42 years. She was a member of the Elko, Nev., chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Brooks of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Carol of Vacaville; granddaughters, Kelly Dill of Vacaville, Parrish Mackey of Vacaville, and Heather of British Columbia; grandsons, Mica of Vacaville, Robert of Norfolk, Va., and William Benson of Vacaville; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Burt Brown of Stockton; and sisters, Enid Kern of San Luis Obispo and Dorothy Hawthorne of Arroyo Grande.

William Wayne Horton
Funeral services for William Wayne Horton, 72, of Vacaville will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Mission Chapel at The Chapel of The Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward.
Born June 6, 1925, in Planeview, Ark., Mr. Horton died Jan. 6, 1998, in San Francisco after a long illness.
Mr. Horton served in the Sixth Division of the U.S. Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He resided in San Lorenzo for 40 years before moving to Vacaville in 1994. Mr. Horton grew up in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.
He was a member of Local 70 of the Teamsters Union for 45 years. He retired from the trucking industry in 1990. He was also a member of the Vacaville Church of Christ.
Mr. Horton is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Meredith and Bill Hoelzel, and Pamela and David Marks; grandchildren, Rebecca Hoelzel, Timothy Hoelzel, Daniel Marks, and Rachael Marks; great-grandchildren, Christina, John and Alex, all of Vacaville; sisters and brother-in-law, Eulene West of Austin, Texas, Janice Alexander of San Diego, and Mary and Andrew Stanphill of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister-in-law, Doris of Independence, Kan.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maisie, in June 1970; and brothers, Chester Arrington in 1969, and Richard in 1996.
Visitation will be 3 to 9 p.m. today.
