Warren Seifert

A memorial service for Warren Seifert, 84, of Vacaville will be 4 p.m. Sunday in Community Presbyterian Church of Vacaville. Interment will be private.

Mr. Seifert died suddenly June 9, 1999, at VacaValley Hospital.

Born Oct. 4, 1914, in Bradyville, Iowa, he had lived in Vacaville since 1986. He had worked for 33 years with Northwest Airlines as a flight dispatcher and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 134 of Vacaville, Eastern Star Chapter No. 28, Community Presbyterian Church and Solano County Habitat for Humanity.

Mr. Seifert had a great sense of humor and he loved helping other people, gardening and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly of Vacaville; daughter, Karen Derrickson of Westbank, B.C.; son, Jack A. of Seattle; stepdaughter, Jean Pulis and husband, Lou of Concord; stepson, Reese Bowman and wife, Lynn, of Pleasanton; brother and sister-in-law, Jack R. and Mary of Cranbury, N.J; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Habitat For Humanity, c/o Muray Mattice, 483 Sandy Way, Benicia, 94510.

Joshua Louis King

Funeral services for Joshua Louis King, 18, of Vacaville were held Tuesday in Vaca Hills Chapel.

The Rev. Ed Sanderson of Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be private.

Joshua died June 13, 1999, in University of California, Davis, Medical Center in Sacramento from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Born June 3, 1981, in Carmichael, Joshua was a lifelong resident of Vacaville. He was a 1999 honors graduate of Vanden High School. He played varsity football and ran track, including the 200 meter event and the 400 relay. Joshua's latest passion was watching and playing ice hockey.

Joshua is survived by his mother Jeanne and father David, both of Vacaville; sisters Renee and Kaitlyn of Vacaville; grandmother and grandfather Bobbie and Richard Cropper of Santa Cruz; grandmother and grandfather Doris and Dennis King of Willets; numerous aunts and uncles and many friends from Vanden High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Charlie Saucedo in 1988.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Vanden High Athletics Department, 2951 Markeley Lane, Fairfield, 94533.

Louis V. Mayorga

No funeral services will be held for Louis V. Mayorga, 67, of Fairfield.

Inurnment will be in Fairfield-Suisun Cemetery.

Mr. Mayorga died June 13, 1999, at his home after a long illness.

Born Sept. 27, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he moved to Fairfield in 1989. He retired as a machinist for Total Western Co. He had worked for the company for six years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Mayorga is survived by his wife, Iris; daughter, Millie Medina of Suisun; sons, Louis Jr. of Fairfield, Felix of Pittsburg, and Michael of San Francisco; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary Josephine Pavka

No formal services will be held for Mary Josephine Pavka, 84, of Suisun. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Pavka died June 11, 1999, in NorthBay Medical Center after a short illness.

Born Sept. 9, 1914, in Crete, Neb., she moved to Suisun in 1978. Mrs. Pavka and her husband owned and operated grocery stores in Daly City and in San Francisco between 1938 and 1949. From 1949 until the late 1970s, she owned and managed a resort in Pacifica. She managed property in Suisun until her death.

She was an avid gardener, a devoted mother and a homemaker for many years.

Mrs. Pavka is survived by her four daughters, Charlise Heiser of Pacifica, Karen Ahlquist of Junction City, Ore., Kathryn Fridley of Port Angeles, Wash., and Mary Ann of Suisun; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Contributions can be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Guido Romani

Funeral services for Guido Romani, 87, of Dixon, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The Rev. Maurice O'Brien of St. Peter's will officiate. Burial will be at Silveyville Cemetery.

Born March 31, 1912, in Lucca, Italy, Mr. Romani died June 14, 1999, in South Lake Tahoe.

A resident of Dixon and Solano County for 61 years, Mr. Romani farmed for 34 years and was a charter member of the Knights of Colombus in Dixon. He also was a member of the Lions Club and the Italian Catholic Federation of Woodland. He was a devoted grandfather and loved being with his family. He also loved gardening and traveling.

Mr. Romani is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eva of Dixon; daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Gary Hack of Antioch, Jeanette and Dennis Garcia of Dixon; sister, Tina Orlandi of Italy; grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer and Allison Hack of Antioch, Kimberly Robben of Rancho Murieta, Brian Garcia of Dixon; great-grandson, Dominic Martin of Antioch.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Milton Carpenter Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to Lions Club of Dixon's Eye Program, St. Peter's Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Allen D. Rouse

The ashes of Allen D. Rouse, 64, will be scattered at sea near the Golden Gate Bridge.

Mr. Rouse died June 2, 1999, in David Grant Medical Center.

Born Aug. 5, 1934, in Terril, Iowa, Mr. Rouse spent 33 years in the United States Air Force. He retired as a watchmaster . He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his daughters, Jeri of Mountain View and Jo of Milpitas; mother, Irma of Terril; brothers, Dr. Wayne Rouse of Boone, Iowa, and Dale of Terril; sister, Elaine Anderson of Boone; and good friend, Mary Ann Rouse of Vacaville.

Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's favorite charities.

Jose C. Sevilla

Funeral services for Jose C. Sevilla, 69, of Willows, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Vaca Hills Chapel. Inurnment will be private.

Born Nov. 19, 1929, in Jalisco, Mexico, Mr. Sevilla died June 14, 1999, in Willows.

Mr. Sevilla had lived in Willows for six years. He was a senior agricultural field technician for University of California, Davis, for 16 years. He was a master gardener.

Mr. Sevilla is survived by his wife, Elvira of Willows; daughters, Carmen George of West Sacramento, Diana Sevilla of Winters; sisters, Josefina and Maria of Los Angeles, Lupe and Concepcion of Mexico; brother, Angel of Mexico; grandchildren, Santos, Jose, Jessica, Becky and Charles.

Visitation will be at 7 p.m. today at Vaca Hills Chapel.

Robert Henry Willinger Sr.

No funeral services will be held for Robert Henry Willinger Sr., 80, of Vacaville. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Willinger died June 12, 1999, in David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base after a long illness.

Born July 15, 1918, in Dundalk, Md., he lived in Vacaville for 10 years. Mr. Willinger was in the United States Air Force before retiring in August 1965 with the rank of senior master sergeant. He was a member of and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vacaville.

Mr. Willinger is survived by his wife Margaret; sons, Robert Jr. of Massachusetts and John of Las Vegas; daughters, Mary Ann Sarganis of Herald, Peggy Puccinelli of South San Francisco and Patricia of Soldotna; brother John and sister Rita Scharf, both of Dundalk; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Vivian Marie Wilson

Funeral services for Vivian Marie Wilson, 81, of Fairfield, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela of Holy Spirit Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be at Fairfield-Suisun Cemetery.

Born Sept. 9, 1917, in San Francisco, Mrs. Wilson died June 15, 1999, in Fairfield.

Mrs. Wilson worked for Digerud Auto Parts for 25 years and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was a member of S.P.R.S.I. She was a past president of Eagles Auxiliary, enjoyed square dancing, bowling and traveling with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband, LaVerne of Fairfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Audrey of Lafayette, Verne and Flora of Fairfield; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hanna Boys Center, P.O. Box 100, Sonoma, 95476, or the charity of the donor's choice.

Ernie Idlison Brazil

A Catholic Prayer Service for Ernie Idlison Brazil, 75, of Vacaville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Vaca Hills Chapel. The Rev. Benedict DeLeon of St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Born June 28, 1923, in the Philippines, Mr. Brazil died June 11, 1999, at VacaValley Hospital.

Mr. Brazil, who moved to the area 13 years ago, worked for the United States Civil Service as an aircraft electrician for 30 years. He enjoyed dancing, gardening and the annual Leyte Carigara Fiesta.

Mr. Brazil is survived by his wife, Mary of Vacaville; sons, Anthony and Rocky of Vacaville and Brady of Alameda; daughter, Debbie Bautista Brazil of the Philippines; sisters, Tocico and Loming of the Philippines; grandchildren, Andre, Brian, Francis and Christopher of Vacaville, Michael, Noah and Brittany of Hayward and Brandon of Alameda. Mr. Brazil was preceded in death by Celedonio in 1971 and Felipa in 1984.

A rosary will be held at 8 p.m. today at Vaca Hills Chapel.

Theodore David Crawford

At the request of the family, no formal services will be held for Theodore David Crawford, 76, of Suisun City. Interment will be private.

Born July 28, 1922, in Colorado Springs, Colo., Mr. Crawford died June 14, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center.

A resident of Suisun City for the past five years, Mr. Crawford was a chemist all his adult life, having been the owner/operator of Crawford Chemical Co. of Los Angeles for 12 years. He also was a part-time teacher until recently.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eugena of Suisun City; daughter, May Wallace of Portland, Ore.; son, David of Manassas, Va.; brother, Richard Crawford of Roy, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Ruth Bradanini, 290 Fruitvale Ave., Vacaville, 95688.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nadeau Family Funeral Home.

Martha Ann Hill-Reed

Funeral services for Martha Ann Hill-Reed, 58, of Fairfield, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Masadonia Church of God in Christ. Elder Kenneth Martin will officiate. Burial will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Born Dec. 9, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Hill-Reed died June 14, 1999, in Oakland.

Mrs. Hill-Reed worked for the Oakland Unified School District and was a member of the Northern California Gospel Choir.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Tami Lynn; stepson, Edward Reed; sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther and Dave Compton of Pittsburgh and Jean D. and Merice Amiker of Orlando, Fla.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Solano Valley Mortuary.

Ruby C. McCall

Memorial services for Ruby C. McCall, 60, of Vacaville will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Unity Church of the Valley in Vacaville. Vic Jenkins of Unity Church will officiate. Entombment will be private at Fairmont Memorial park in Fairfield.

Born March 9, 1939, in Denver, Mrs. McCall died May 29, 1999, while on vacation in Kearney, Neb.

A 24-year resident of Vacaville and Solano County, Mrs. McCall was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a past president of American Association of University Women. She was also active in the "special friend" program at Sierra Vista School. She enjoyed sewing, traveling in the family recreational vehicle and her grandchildren.

Mrs. McCall is survived by her husband, Michael of Vacaville; sons, David of Fairfield and Christopher of Seattle; father, Herbert C. Cox of Fairfield; and four grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 89 Newbury St., Suite 201, Danvers, Mass., 01923.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel.

Ernie Idlison Brazil
