Rachelle S. Libatique

Funeral services for newborn Rachelle S. Libatique, who died June 30, 1999, will be at 1 p.m. today in Fairmont Memorial Park, 1901 Union Ave., Fairfield. The Rev. Sebastian Meyer of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church will preside.

Burial will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Miss Libatique was born June 30, 1999, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo.

She is survived by parents, Gerry and Revy of Fairfield; grandparents, Severino S. Sabas Jr., Filipina Arca Sabas and Luz Laigo Libatique, all of the Philippines; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are by Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Daniel L. Reed

Memorial services for Daniel L. Reed, 75, of Suisun City will be 2 p.m. Monday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1651 Sunset Ave., Fairfield. Andreas Bierwagen will officiate.

Burial will be private at Rockville Cemetery.

Mr. Reed died June 29, 1999, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Vallejo following a short illness.

Born Dec. 22, 1923, in Pennsylvania, he had lived in Suisun City for 22 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and continued as a seaman for 12 years. In his later years, he worked locally as a mechanic and welder. He became a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses in 1960.

Mr. Reed is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nohemi of Suisun City; daughters, Sylvia Davault of Vacaville and Diana of Napa; son, Daniel Jr. of San Francisco; son-in-law, Jack Davault of Vacaville; daughter-in-law, Lisa Reed of San Francisco; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Solano Valley Mortuary.

Kermit Fitzgerald

No services were held for Kermit E. Fitzgerald, 72, of Chico who died June 12, 1999, at his home.

Born Sept. 5, 1926, in Hedley, Texas, he had lived in Chico for 23 years.

Mr. Fitzgerald worked for Safeway stores as a manager for 34 years. He and his family moved to Vacaville in 1975 where he opened the former Safeway on Peabody Road and the Fairfield Safeway on Travis Boulevard.

He was active in chambers of commerce, the Masonic Lodge, service clubs and churches wherever he lived. Since retiring, he enjoyed traveling and spent seven summers as a campground host and docent in the Oregon state parks. He was one of the founders of the Work Training Center for the mentally handicapped in Chico.

Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife of 53 years, Juanita; sons, Danny of Paradise and Greg of Vacaville; daughter, Cindy Lassonde of Pleasanton; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the American Diabetes or American Heart associations.

Gordon Nistler

Memorial services for Gordon Arthur Nistler, 62, of Tucson, Ariz., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Vacaville. The Rev. Betsy Schwartzentraub will preside.

Inurnment will be private in Tucson.

Mr. Nistler died June 24, 1999, in Tucson, following a short illness.

Born March 26, 1937, in Hollywood, he had lived in Vacaville for 34 years before moving to Tucson in August of 1998.

Mr. Nistler attended Santa Clara University where he received a degree in mechanical engineering. He worked at OEA for 35 years as a staff engineer and worked on the construction of three buildings, including his home in Vacaville. He enjoyed camping and woodworking and did volunteer work which included helping with St. Paul's Outreach Program and Vacaville Community Housing.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Dolores "Toodie" Nistler of Tucson; two daughters, Audre Nance and Kerry, both of California; a brother, Gerald of California; and four grandchildren.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice, 3299 Claremont Way, Napa, 94558 or to St. Paul's Outreach Program, 101 West St., Vacaville, 95688.

Dick Ramos Molina

A Mass of the Resurrection for Dick Ramos Molina, 82, of Vacaville will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.

Born May 6, 1917, in Spain, Mr. Molina died July 3, 1999, at VacaValley Hospital.

Mr. Molina worked at Basic Vegetable Co. for 30 years, where he worked on the docks and operated forklifts. Prior to that, he worked on fruit ranches in Winters and Vacaville. He was a member of the Basic Founders' Club.

Mr. Molina is survived by his wife of 57 years, Georgebeth Molina of Vacaville; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Eugene Madonna of Vacaville; brother-in-law, Julian of Vacaville; sister-in-law, Betty Ramos of Vacaville; grandchildren, Anthony, Steven and Michael Madonna, all of Vacaville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nadeau Family Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Diego 'Jimmy' Ramos

A Mass of Christian Burial for Diego Garcia "Jimmy" Ramos, 88, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Eugenio Lopez of St. Mary's will officiate.

Born May 3, 1911, in Loomis, Mr. Ramos died June 20, 1999, in Vacaville.

At age 9, Mr. Ramos moved with his family to Spain, where he lived most of his younger years and married Anna Garcia Ramos. He returned to the United States when he was 36. Shortly after bringing his wife to join him in Vacaville, she died, leaving Mr. Ramos to raise two young children. Mr. Ramos retired from Basic Vegetable Co. after 25 years.

He later moved into Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Ramos is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Diego "Dick" Ramos Jr. and Irma of Vacaville; daughter and son-in-law, Anita Ramos Barnes and Warren of Sacramento; sister, Mary Mellerio of Portland, Ore.; grandson, Garrett of Vacaville; and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Diego Ramos.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCune Garden Chapel with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Patricia Daiprai Wildman

Funeral services for Patricia "Patty" Daiprai Wildman, 44, of Fairfield will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela will officiate. Disposition will be at Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Born April 13, 1955, in Fairfield, Mrs. Wildman died July 1, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center.

A native of Fairfield and lifelong resident, Mrs. Wildman was a homemaker and avid bingo player who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a member of the Fairfield High School drill team and graduated from the school in 1973. She enjoyed skating at the roller rink when she was younger. She also enjoyed bowling and had won many trophies as a member of a traveling bowling team.

Mrs. Wildman is survived by her mother, Barbara L. Daiprai of Fairfield; father, Joe F. Daiprai of Higbee, Mo.; sons, Jeremy Maxwell and Duane both of Fairfield; sister, Cheryl Daiprai of Fairfield; longtime companion, Larry Layfield Jr. of Fairfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Levie Pacia

Funeral services for Levie Pacia, 22, of Vacaville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 West Texas St., Fairfield. Majors Jack Phillips and Anna Phillips of the Salvation Army of San Jose will officiate.

Inurnment will be private.

Born Aug. 26, 1976 in San Francisco, Mr. Pacia died July 1 in a car accident in San Jose.

He is survived by his life-long love Monique Zepetta of Vacaville; parents, Diana and Genaro Lomeli of Vacaville; sisters, Marciana and Angelica Lomeli of Vacaville; brothers, Lorenzo and Miguel Lomeli of Vacaville.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Marie Liberman of Fairfield; the Pacia family of San Francisco and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Alice D. Voss

Funeral services for Alice D. Voss, 65, of Vacaville will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Vaca Hill Chapel, 524 Elmira Road, Vacaville.

Mrs. Voss died July 5, 1999 at Mt. Diablo Medical Center in Concord following an illness.

Born Dec. 20, 1933, in Rose, Okla., Mrs. Voss lived in Vaca-ville for 25 years. She worked as a clerk at Pacific Bell for 23 years and loved collecting angels and clocks.

Mrs. Voss is survived by her son, David Voss of Vacaville; daughters, Dena Nakagawa of Acampo and Phyllis Fisher of Fairfield; mother, Phyllis Baldwin of Vacaville; daughter-in-law, Pam Voss of Vacaville; son-in-law, Mike Nakagawa of Acampo; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1997.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.

Joseph Boyd

At the request of the family, no formal services will be held for Joseph Boyd, 70, of Fairfield. Inurnment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Born Feb. 19, 1929, in Jefferson City, Mo., Mr. Boyd died July 5, 1999, in Fairfield.

Mr. Boyd worked as a construction worker with the Kansas Trade & Construction Co. for more than 50 years.

Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Arnetta of San Diego; daughter, Marsha Colbert of Fairfield; son, Galen Golston of San Diego; sisters, Ernestine Weaver of Topeka, Kan., Ann Douglas of Pasadena; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bryan-Braker Funeral Home.

Diego 'Jimmy' Ramos

Arrangements are by McCune Garden Chapel.

Carl O. Martinez

Funeral with full military honors for Carl O. Martinez, 84, of Fairfield will be at 1 p.m. Monday at True Love Baptist Church. Pastor James Ray will officiate. Burial will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.

Born Dec. 9, 1914, in Sanger, Mr. Martinez died July 4, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center.

A loadmaster at Travis Air Force Base, Mr. Martinez was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force before retiring from the Air Force Reserves as a chief master sergeant. He also retired from civil service at Travis.

Mr. Martinez was a member of the Senior Citizens of the Golden Variety Association and had served as its vice president.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma of Fairfield; daughters, Bernice Becker of Santa Rosa and Debra, Elaine and Sally, all of Sacramento; sons, Joe and Robert of Woodland, Kenneth of Sacramento, Ronald of Toronto and Jerald of Colusa; stepdaughters, Kemyata Barnum of Fairfield and Daphne Tucker of Oklahoma; stepson, Marcus Smith of Oklahoma; sister, Irene Hernandez of Fremont; brother, Eugene of Modesto; and numerous grandchildren and stepgrandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fairfield Funeral Home.
