William Theodore Crocker

Memorial services for William Theodore Crocker, 62, of Palmdale will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Palmdale.

Mr. Crocker died on Oct. 31, 1999.

Born on Nov. 30, 1936, in Pawnee, Okla., he lived and worked in Vacaville for six years before moving to Palmdale about a year ago. He worked as a crane operator for the Operating Engineers Local No. 3, retiring after 39 years. He also served in the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Crocker is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn; children, Gwen Parker of Stillwater, Okla., Gregg of Vacaville, Lisa Bernhardt and Tawnya Rice, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Grady Barnhardt of St. George, Utah, Tiffany Gardner of Twentynine Palms and Misti of Vallejo; sister, Delleen Chelli; and 16 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

Maxcine Brownell

There will be no services for Maxcine Brownell, 82, of Vacaville. Inurnment will be private.

Mrs. Brownell died on Oct. 28, 1999, in Davis after a brief illness.

Born on Dec. 10, 1916, in Redondo Beach, she lived in Vacaville for the past 14 years. She worked in retail grocery stores in the Bay Area for many years.

Mrs. Brownell is survived by her daughter, Leona MacArthur of Kennewick, Wash.; and son, Robert MacArthur of Vacaville. She also had five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Shannon Eileen Hoffman

Memorial services for Shannon Eileen Hoffman, 7, of Fairfield will be 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vallejo.

The Rev. Williams Embree will officiate. Interment will be private at Union Church Cemetery in Neffs, Pa.

Shannon died on Nov. 2, 1999, in Napa after a long illness.

Born on June 2, 1992, in Vallejo, she lived in Fairfield all her life. She attended special-education classes in Napa.

Shannon is survived by her parents, Stanley and Kathleen of Fairfield; sisters, Kimberly and Jennifer of Fairfield; and grandmother, Betty Kresley of Pennsylvania.

Lynn Charles Moore

There will be no services for Lynn Charles Moore, 50, of Dixon. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Moore died on Oct. 29, 1999.

Born on Jan. 21, 1949, in Sacramento, he had lived in Dixon for 19 years, having worked at the Dixon Canning Corp. as a supervisor for 24 years.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Merry Ellen; son and daughter-in-law, William and Melissa Wood; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Dean Anderson and Jennifer and Michael Roe; grandchildren, Maura and Marisa Wood, Jessica Lynn Moore, Michael Jr. Lee Roe and Blaine, Beth and Tiffany Anderson; and brother, Larry. He also had numerous cousins, nephews, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and his mother-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to lung and brain cancer research.

Arrangements are by Milton Carpenter Funeral Home.

William (Bill) E. Parke

Memorial services for William (Bill) E. Parke, 81, of Vacaville will be 2 p.m. today at Bethany Lutheran Church in Vacaville.

Pastor Lester Seto will officiate. Interment will be private at Vacaville Elmira Cemetery.

Mr. Parke died Nov. 3, 1999, in Vacaville.

Born Jan. 8, 1918, in Alberta, Canada, Mr. Parke was a Vacaville resident for the past five years. He belonged to California Iron Workers Local 366 and Bethany Lutheran Church. He enjoyed traveling, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father.

Mr. Parke is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna of Vacaville; son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Jan of Massachusetts; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Chris Merlin of Moraga; grandchildren, Paul and Benjamin Merlin of Moraga; brother, Lewis of Novato; sisters-in-law, Betty Morris of Redding and Lois Haskins of Murrieta; and many nieces and nephews.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, 621 S. Orchard Ave., Vacaville 95688.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCune Garden Chapel.

Floyd Fair Arnett Jr.

Funeral services for Floyd Fair Arnett Jr., 71, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Monday at Vaca Hills Chapel.

Dr. Leroy Gainey will officiate. Burial will be private.

Mr. Arnett died on Nov. 3, 1999, in Vacaville Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

Born on April 19, 1928, in Forestville, he moved to the area 40 years ago. He worked in civil service at Travis Air Force Base for many years and at Yellow Cab Co. for five years before retiring.

Mr. Arnett is survived by his son, Timothy of Vacaville, and granddaughter, Melissa of Winters.

Lawrence 'Larry' David LeClair

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lawrence "Larry" David LeClair, 58, of Vacaville will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vacaville. The Rev. Williams Feeser will officiate.

Mr. LeClair died on Nov. 4, 1999, at his home in Vacaville.

Born on Sept. 7, 1941, in Cheboygan, Mich., he lived in Vacaville for the past 23 years. He worked for United Airlines for 35 years as a lead mechanic. He enjoyed Reno air races and all vintage air shows. He spent much of his time with his grandsons and working on his AT-6 plane project. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964, stationed at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas.

Mr. LeClair is survived by his wife, Gloria of Vacaville; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Tom Horan of Placerville; daughter, Kris of Vacaville; sister, Louise O'Keefe of Warren, Mich.; brothers, Edward of Payne, Ariz., Joseph of Indianapolis, Philip of Redwood City and Jim of Cheboygan, Mich.; and grandchildren, Cody and Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Hospital, Kaiser Hospice program.

Lucille A. Rudulph

Funeral services for Lucille A. Rudulph, 104, of Sacramento will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Sacramento Garden Chapel.

Interment will follow at Sacramento Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Friends are welcome to a "quiet hour" from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Rudulph died on Nov. 3, 1999, in Sacramento.

Born on Sept. 9, 1895, in Grove Hill, Ala., she lived in Vallejo before moving to Sacramento.

Mrs. Rudulph is survived by her children, Fred, James, Martha McCain, Ruth Short, Zeb T. Jr., Maggie Hill and Joseph, all of Sacramento. She also had a total of 445 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Zeb T., and children, Mary Scott and Freeman.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Paul A. Tamburello

A Mass of the Resurrection for Paul A. Tamburello, 55, of Vacaville will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vacaville.

The Rev. Benedict DeLeon will officiate. Interment will be private in Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. There will be a celebration of life in the Parish Center after the service.

Friends may call at Nadeau Family Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday. A second visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Liturgy of the Vigil will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Mr. Tamburello died on Nov. 4, 1999, at his home in Vacaville after a brief illness.

Born on Nov. 20, 1943, in New York, he lived in Vacaville for the past 15 years. He was the owner-operator of Payroll Partners with his managing partner, Manuel Cosme, for the past eight years.

Mr. Tamburello was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he was an active eucharistic minister and worked with the baptism program for five years. He completed and received his certification in the Lay Ministry Formation with the Diocese of Sacramento.

He was an avid Vacaville High School Bulldogs fan and was a past member of LeTip International, Vacaville chapter. In 1997, he received the Spirit of Solano award, and in 1995 he earned the Business of the Year award from the Solano/Napa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber of Commerce. He was a past contributor to Vacaville's Challenge Day.

Mr. Tamburello is survived by his wife, Diana L. of Vacaville; sons, Aaron of Concord and Seth and Luke of Vacaville; and sister, Maryann Goins of South Lake Tahoe. He also had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Sacramento, 5890 Newman Court, Sacramento, 95819.

Anne Marie Donner

A memorial mass for Anne Marie Donner, 71, of Fairfield will be noon Friday at Holy Spirit Church in Fairfield.

The Rev. Michael Downey will officiate. Inurnment will be private at Fairmont Memorial Park.

Mrs. Donner died on Nov. 4, 1999, at NorthBay Medical Center.

Born on March 6, 1928, in Hamden, Conn., she lived in Fairfield for 29 years.

She worked as an executive assistant for the city of Fairfield for 20 years. She loved music and art.

Mrs. Donner is survived by her daughter, Diane of Suisun; daughters and sons-in-law, Cathleen and Stephen Mathis of Fairfield, Patricia and Allen Alcantara of Fairfield and Sandra and Daland Davis of Redmond, Wash.; and brothers, John Costello of Guilford, Conn., and William Costello of Mobile, Ala. She also had eight grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Building Fund, 1050 N. Texas St., Fairfield, 94533.

Edward Owen Kelly

A funeral for Edward Owen Kelly, 67, of Fairfield will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield.

The Rev. Luciano Valenzuela will officiate.

Inurnment will be private in Suisun-Fairfield Cemetery.

Born Oct. 10, 1932, in Altoona, Pa., he died Nov. 6, 1999, in David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, after a short illness.

He lived in Fairfield 26 years.

Mr. Kelly graduated from Penn State University in 1951. He played football and basketball at the university and was a pilot/navigator for the Army Air Corps, then served with the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, retiring in 1974 as a lieutenant colonel. He was a military enlistment and processing commander at the Oakland Army Base and in Sacramento.

He also worked in civil service with the Treasury Department in Los Angeles.

He was a member of VFW Post 2333 of Suisun; Retired Officers Association and a board member of Northern Solano County Realtors and owner-operator of Pacific Cal Realty in Fairfield for the past 10 years.

He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling and was active with many charities and was a sponsor and co-manager of Class B softball of Suisun-Fairfield from 1991-1995.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife, Hiroko; son, Michael of Fairfield; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Catherine of Antioch; sister, Mary Ann Rice Kelly of Missouri and grandchildren, Vincent and Marissa of Antioch and Brandon of Vacaville.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today in Bryan-Braker Funeral Home in Fairfield.

A vigil service will be tonight at 7 in the funeral home.

Lawrence 'Larry' David LeClair
