Mary Jane was predeceased by her husband James Mundie in 1964. A Funeral Service will be held at JACQUES GARDEN CHAPEL, 12700 Macleod Trail South on Monday, January 15, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. ROESSLER - Mr. Fred Roessler of Calgary, passed away from Leukemia on Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at the age of 67 years. Fred is survived by one sister Helen (John) Mandryk of Calgary; one brother George (Marilyn) Roessler of Grass Valley, California; as well as many nieces and nephews and his fiancee Agnes Mate of Calgary. Fred is predeceased by both parents, three sisters and one brother. Fred worked for the CPR for twenty-eight years. He loved to travel. He was a member of the Confederation Club, delivered for Meals on Wheels. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. BLOW - Kenneth Ronald Blow passed away peacefully in Calgary on April 14, 2001 at the age of 69 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Sylvia; son Ron (Jackie); daughter Brenda (Tony) Stiles; grandchildren, Ronnie, Tony, Brittany and Amanda; mother Marjorie Blow; sister Marilyn; brother Gordon; sisters-in-law, Marion and Bea; and by numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews. BOWNESS - Robert Thomas (Bob) Bowness beloved husband and soulmate of Janice Papp, passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, April 14, 2001 at the young age of 42 years. He is survived by his parents Ernest and Phyllis Bowness; his sister Virginia (Ian) Goodman; and his nephew and niece, Sean and Bryna, the "apples of his eye". He also leaves to mourn his passing his Godmother, Phyl Cairns of Parksville; and his father and mother-in-law, Alex and Doreen Papp. Bob was born icon in Calgary on December 23, 1958. He had been employed as a Telecommunications Technician for the past twenty-one years. Bob absolutely loved the outdoors. His winter-time passion was snowmobiling in the mountains. In the summer, one could find him boating every weekend. That was until he and Janice bought their acreage near Cochrane. Bob's focus then turned to building his dream home for Janice and himself. He will always be remembered for his humor and his generosity. "My Love...Until we meet again in Silent Pass". BREEN - Mrs. Winnifred (Winnie) Breen passed away after a brief illness at the Stettler Health Care Centre in Stettler, Alberta on April 14, 2001 at the age of 86 years. Winnie was born icon in Elnora, AB, the second daughter of David and Rachael Milne on September 1, 1914. She was predeceased by her husband David, her parents, her brothers, George and John Milne and her sister Dorothy Breen. She leaves to mourn, her sisters, Evelyn Breen and Pat Smith; her brothers-in-law, Joe Smith and Henry Breen; her sister-in-law Alma Weis; and many nieces and nephews. BREWER - John Robert Brewer of Chilliwack, B.C., passed away at the Milk River Hospital on Saturday, April 14, 2001 at the age of 59 years. John is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Bette Lou Brewer; daughter Teresa Marie Rains (Lonnie) of Warner; son Bruce Aldon Brewer (Patty Halvorsen) of Calgary; grandchildren, Toni Marie Klein, Robert Micheal John Klein, Garret Robert Brewer, Zachary Bruce Brewer; and step-grandchildren, Kyle Robert Rains and Garrett Kenneth Rains. John is also survived by his mother Elma Brewer of Rocky Mountain House; brother Richard Charles Brewer of Rocky Mountain House; and sister Judy Marie Turner of High River; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his father Robert M. Brewer. John was born icon in Calgary. He served in the RCAF, and was an electrician for B.C. Hydro for twenty years. John was loving and devoted to his family, friends, and job. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. BURNS - Myrtle Burns passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on March 5, 2001, after a short illness at the age of 83 years. Myrt was a long-time, well-respected employee of Canadian Bakeries, the only job in her working career. Myrt loved her job and she knew it well. She was also an ardent supporter of Calgary activities, a dart enthusiast, and a pin collector. Myrtle is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Leta and Ernie Woods; a niece Melanie Jansen; two nephews, Patrick and Dennis and Mary-Anne Walsh; as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, Todd, Courtenay, Carly, Brittany, Aaron, and Kylie. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Isabella Burns, and infant sister Violet. CHITTICK - Dolena (Dolly) Hazel Chittick (nee MacKenzie) died on Sunday, April 15, 2001 after a brief illness at the age of 90 years. Survived by her son John (Olya) of Gibsons, BC; her daughter Elizabeth (Donald) McPhail of Calgary; four granddaughters, six great-grandsons; and two sisters, Bernie Axford of Stettler, AB, and Grace Raeburn of Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey in 1978. At the time of her death, Dolena resided in Calgary, prior to that she was a resident in Leduc, Vancouver and White Rock. CHRISTIE - Gary Christie, beloved husband of Erika Christie of Calgary, passed away at home on Thursday, April 12, 2001, after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 60 years. Besides his loving wife, Gary is survived by a son Michael Christie and his fiancee Geri; two stepsons, Rick and Allan Hundt; two grandchildren, Corrie and Shelby; his mother Shirley Christie of Vernon, B.C.; brother Dennis Christie of Ontario; and two little girls, Brittany and Ashleigh held close to his heart. He was predeceased by his father Wilfred Christie in 1962, Marie Ann in 1984, his younger brother David in 1991, and his daughter Kathy in 2000. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Gerry Newton, and Brenda and Martin Schoenfeld; three grandchildren, Julia (Bill) Sochor, Edward Newton, and Robert (Lisa) Newton; and six great-grandchildren, Curtis and Matthew, Krista and Keal, Brittany and Kaitlin.
