TRYDAL, PHYLLIS
On June 23rd, 2010, Phyllis Trydal, long-time Edson resident passed away at home with her family by her side. Phyllis was 92 years old.
She is survived by her loving family, son Edwin and wife Colleen Trydal and family of Edson, Alberta, daughter Frances Miller and family of Edson, Alberta, son Roy and wife Elvira Trydal and family of Drayton Valley, Alberta, daughter Darlene Mole and family of Edson, Alberta and son Randy and wife Cathy Trydal and family of Evansburg, Alberta. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband John in 1988, her daughter Marion in 1959, son – in - law Doug Miller in 1988 and son – in – law Doug Mole in 2009, and grandson Timothy Wilflingsider.
She was also predeceased by her siblings, Pansy Worbecki, Lee Roy, Art, Paul and Murray Holman.
Cremation has taken place in The Foothills Crematorium, and a memorial service will take place later.

MORRIS, JOHN BRIAN
On May 5th, 2008 John Brian Morris of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 58 years.
Left to mourn his loss, his loving wife Jean, his children, daughter Corrine (Bang) Nguyen and their children, Xavier, Athena and Destiny all of Edmonton, Alberta, his daughter Leslie (Claus) Gerber and their daughter Annabelle, all of Vernon, British Columbia and his daughter Sherry Morris/Cave and her children, Gypsy, Roman and Latherus, all of Vernon, British Columbia, his step-children, Monte (Tammy) Smith of Cranbrook, British Columbia and Jesse (Kelly) Smith and their children Cole, Cooper and Brayden all of Niton Junction, Alberta.
John is also survived by his sisters Joanne (Ron) Schlender and family of Edson, Alberta and Sabina (Laurie) McKenzie and family of Calgary, Alberta , numerous other relatives and many friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Joseph Morris on August 10th, 1993 and his mother Margaret Morris on January 2nd, 2003.
Funeral services for John Morris will take place on Friday, May 9th, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Foothills Memorial Chapel –
5040 – 6th Ave., Edson, Alberta
with Lay Worship Leader Kimberly Roy officiating and interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery , Edson, Alberta .
In lieu of floral tributes, donations if desired may be directed to the Canadian Mental Health Association,

ARNHOLTZ, DALE ALLEN
On May 9th, 2008, Dale Allen Arnholtz of Robb, Alberta passed away at the age of 61 years.
Left to mourn his loss, his son Jason (Kristy Sheehy) Arnholtz of Edmonton, Alberta, his son Aaron Arnholtz of Robb, Alberta and his children Paytan, Savannah and Mylie and by Lorna Moore, the mother of his children.
Dale is also survived by his brother Warren Arnholtz of Calgary, Alberta and his sisters Marion (Glen) McKinney of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Joyce Umbach of Calgary, Alberta .
There are several nieces, nephews and other relatives left to mourn.
Dale was predeceased by his son Carlen on May 31st, 2003 as well as his mother and father Frieda and Ben Arnholtz.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2008 at 3:00 PM at the Foothills Memorial Chapel in Edson with LWL Kimberly Roy officiating. Cremation followed the service.
In lieu of floral tributes, the family suggests donations be directed to N.A.B.I.S (Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society) #229, Royal Alex Place, 10106 – 111 Ave., Edmonton, Alberta, T5G 0B4 in memory of Dale Allen Arnholtz.

MARCOFF, TIMOTHY JAMES
On May 14th, 2008, Timothy James Marcoff of Jasper, Alberta , beloved husband of Valerie passed away in Jasper at the age of 48 years.
Besides his loving wife Valerie, Timothy is survived by his mother Mary Marcoff of Edson, Alberta, his siblings, brother Patrick Marcoff and his sons Andrew of Whitehorse, YK and Evan (Trinia) Marcoff of Edson, Alberta, sister Marilyne Marcoff of Edson, Alberta and brother Dan (Jane) Marcoff and their sons Shane and Steven all of Edson, Alberta and Ken’s children Duane and Lindsay Marcoff of Calgary, Alberta
Also surviving are his mothers and fathers – in – law, Dorothy (Dennis) Sherman of Gunn, Alberta and Ray (Karen) Sherman of Edmonton, Alberta, brothers and sisters – in – law, Byron Sherman of Edmonton, Alberta, Greg Sherman of Sherwood Park, Alberta,
Heather (Brian) Hoekstra of St. Albert, Alberta, Aaron (Lori) Sherman of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Richard (Erin) Sherman of Edmonton, Alberta and Adrian (Laura) Sherman of Edmonton, Alberta.
Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Timothy was predeceased by his father Michael (Mickey) Marcoff in 2003 and his brother Ken Marcoff on April 19th, 2008.
Funeral services for Timothy James Marcoff took place on Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Jasper, Alberta with Father Roger Keeler and Father Donatus Ihekwoaba presiding. Cremation followed this service.

MARSHALL, Dale Frank
Dale Frank Marshall passed away peacefully in the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 25th, 2008. Dale was born in Lloydminster, Sask. , April 5th, 1923.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beth Marshall (nee Pettigrew), his daughter Linda and husband Richard Lutz, grandchildren, Grant (Theresa), Brian (Charmaine), Karin (Marc), great grandchildren, Brooke, Kai, and Trey. Dale is also survived by his four brothers, Paul (Corrine), Dean ( Pearl ), Dennis (Lillian), and Rex (Karin), and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Bob in July 2007.
Dale’s working career was with the CNR for over 40 years out of Edson and Edmonton .
His passion in life was his love of music and sound. His production of sound with nature films led to recognition in , the , and abroad.
Funeral services for Dale Marshall will be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2008 at 3:00 pm, at the Foothills Memorial Chapel in Edson Alberta. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery , Edson, Alberta .

Matteleyn Albert
In Verdun, peacefully, on May 22, 2006 at the age of 89 years, passed away Albert Matteleyn, beloved husband of Laure Dessart, devoted father to Jocelyne and Suzanne, grandfather to Jeffrey (Sherry), Derek, Jennifer and Cory.
Visitation at the URGEL BOURGIE funeral complex
3955 Côte-de-Liesse, corner Ste-Croix, St-Laurent, on Wednesday May 24 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday from 10 a.m.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 25 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the complex.

Brydon, H. Ione
1910-2010
Born in Langford Municipality (Neepawa, Manitoba) May 25, 1910, Ione passed away peacefully at Langley Lodge September 30, 2010.
She was predeceased by husband Cam and her brother Lewis.
Survived by Glenn (Judy), Ray (Jan), Faye Steinke (Ted), Ann Butcher (Bob), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ione was a long-time resident of Maple Ridge before moving to Langley in 1994.
The family is most grateful for the care mom received at Langley Lodge, with a special thanks to staff who worked on the 3rd floor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ione’s name, to Langley Care Foundation, 5451 204 Street. Langley, V3A 5M9, would be appreciated.
Graveside service will be held at Maple Ridge Cemetery, 21404 Dewdney Trunk Road at 2:30 pm October 15, 2010 followed by a tea.

De Oliveira, John Jr.
John De Oliveira Jr. was a loving generous and adventurous young man whose brief life was cut short by a car accident on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 11:50pm, at the corner of Lougheed Hwy. and Harris Road in Pitt Meadows. John touched the hearts and lives of many whose path he crossed with his bright and beautiful smile and cherry personality, he was always ready to reach a hand out to those in need, he loved life and the people in it. John began his life’s journey on October 11, 1989 in Vancouver, B.C. the son of John De Oliveira Sr. and Audrey De Oliveira and his loving sister Venessa De Oliveira. John will be greatly missed by his Grandparents, Filomena De Oliveira, John and Marjorie Willox, Uncle Manuel /Tina Cousin Brandon, Aunt and Godmother Linda/Dave, cousins Kristain, Melissa, Mathew, Amy. Korena Kline, Cassidy , Harmony. Godfathers Rocco and Domiano and family and his amazing friends who he loved, cherished and touched there lives. John De Oliveira passed away with his soul mate and the love of his life Beckie Dyer, The two were off to an amazing new life together but sadly taken from them and now they walk hand in hand peacefully as two Angels. John’s one favorite pass time was to play video games but when he got bored of that he would take out his Big Green Machine and chill with all his 4x4 friends and really get down and dirty deep in mud. And now Johnny you can Shred Pow up in Heaven and smile down on us with your big beautiful smile. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go to everyone who was at the scene who witnessed the accident. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday October 28, 2010 at 11am at the Maple Ridge Baptist Church, at 22155 Lougheed Hwy, Maple Ridge, B.C.
