Devoted grandfather of Laura-Lynn, Mary Ellen, and Ann Marie. Very proud great-grandfather of Kyle, Kalyn, and Noah. Survived by his 2 brothers. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie funeral Home, from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Service to follow in the Chapel at 4 p.m. Cremation. (Park Supervisor with the City of Toronto and owner of Paterson Landscaping). Peacefully, at home, on Friday, January 17, 2003. Scott, beloved husband of Patty. Dear father of Jason, Sarah and Dean. Loving son of Maurice and Marilyn Paterson of Port Perry. Dear son-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Clifford Scott. Loving brother of Wayne, Barry, Blair and Maureen. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Westney Heights Baptist Church (1201 Ravenscroft Road, Ajax), from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2003. The service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Norland. If one so desires, donations to the Westney Heights Baptist Church Building Fund or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Centre in Whitby. Beloved husband of Lois and father of Grant and Deidre. Survived by his sister Marion and her husband Robert and family. Member of the RCAF 420 Wing, Lifetime member of the Oshawa Flying Club, recent recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, Oshawa Senior Citizen of the Year Award 2002. A memorial service will be held at the RCAF 420 Wing, Oshawa Airport on Saturday, February 8th, 2003, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Born in Perth, Scotland and a resident of Canada and Whitby for 50 years. Beloved wife of the late George Rankine. Loving mother of David and his wife Donna of Ajax and Patricia Rankine of Whitby. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tanya and her husband Geoff Freshwater and Shane Rankine and his friend Michelle. Dear sister of Isa, Nanny and Harry of Perth, Scotland and sister-in-law of Grace of Whitby. Predeceased by one brother Jimmy. Loving grandfather of Christine, Grant, Karen, Michael, Bhreagh, Aaron, Nigel and Megan. Don will also be sadly missed by his pal Buffy. Loving grandmother of Julia and Maurice, Boyd and his wife Chikako, Andrea and Cory, and Travis and great grandmother of Ren and Kaz.
