BAKER, Grace -
At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday December 5th, 2003 aged 63 years. She will be sadly missed by her companion James Tabb and his sister Shirley & Mae; and cousin Linda Cole & her family. Lovingly remembered by her friends of Friendship Club, her Orono Community friends and Tracey & Carol. Funeral Service has taken place on Monday December 8, 2003.

Dear son of Terrence LeDrew (from Botwood, NF) & his wife Mona (from Grand Falls NF). Predeceased by his beloved mother Margaret (from Botwood, NF) Dear father of Michael, Joshua, Kevin and Amber LeDrew. Dear brother of Cindy Franken & her husband Paul, Wade LeDrew & his wife Tracy, and Trevor LeDrew & his wife Kristan. Son in law of Roy Gibson, and Muriel & Allan Doucette. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Tuesday December 9, 2003 at 1 p.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. On August 9, 1962 the Lord blessed many lives by bring into this world Terry LeDrew. He was the most loving & generous husband, father, brother and friend. He always placed others needs before his own. He never turned his back on someone in need whether family, friend or foe. On December 5, 2003 the Lord claimed back His gift and we are all better people because of his passion for life. We will miss your friendship, your laughter, and your love.

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home in Uxbridge, on Friday, December 5th, 2003, in his 79th year. Edward, beloved husband of Magda. Dear dad to Marion and her husband Bruce Carter. Opa to Chris (Amanda), Kimberly (Corey) and Kurt. Great Opa to Carter and Christopher. Survived by sisters Martha and Ursula (Gerry). Predeceased by his brother Rudi. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, December 8th, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Low & Low Funeral Home. In Edward's memory, donations may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital.

Beloved husband of Sheila. Loving father of Ranjit and his wife Kuveni of Sri Lanka, Nihal of Sri Lanka, Ravi Saravanamuttu and his wife Breeda, and Lilanee Navaratne and her husband Philip. Grandfather of Dinuk, Siobhan, Sean, James, Ben and Katrin. Brother of the late Dr. Patrick Wijeratne. Sadly missed by many relatives and friends in Canada and Sri Lanka. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 82 Church Street South (Pickering Village), at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2003 with cremation to follow.

BEAVAN, Reginald -
Loving husband of the late Irene, father of Douglas, Shirley, Janice, Larry, Leslie, Dale and grandfather of 13, passed away at the Ajax and Pickering Hospital, on Thursday, December 4, 2003. At Reg's request there will be no formal funeral service. However, a gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, December 8, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in the reception room at the McEachnie Funeral Home. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

KETOLA, Tuomo Antero -
At his home in Beaverton, on Thursday, December 4, 2003. Tom was the beloved husband of Irja (Pietikainen) Ketola of Beaverton. Dear father of Ari (Suzanne) of Toronto and Andy of Beaverton. Survived by family in Finland. The family will receive friends at the Mangan Funeral Home, 332 Osborne St. (Durham Region Road No. 23), Beaverton (705-426-5777), on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the ALS Society of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the Ketola family.

LUFFMAN, Joanne -
In loving memory of Joanne Heather (Willmore) Luffman, formerly of Oshawa, who passed away at the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing, Ontario, on Thursday, December 4th, 2003 at the age of 49 years. Joanne was born in Oshawa on February 3, 1954. Prior to moving to Kitigan in Northern Ontario in 1992, she worked as an office clerk at General Motors in Oshawa for 17 years. Her favourite pastimes were camping, gardening and crochet. She was described by family as a loving wife and mother who truly enjoyed the great outdoors and spending much time in the sun. Joanne is survived by her husband Doug Luffman of Kitigan, her two daughters; Leanne Luffman of Sault Ste. Marie and Kelly Luffman of North Bay, her sister Janice Willmore, her brother Wayne Willmore, her father Bill Willmore and her grandfather Bill Young, all of Oshawa. Dear niece of Donald & Barbara Young of Oshawa. She was predeceased by her mother Barbara and grandmother Idella Young. A memorial service to celebrate Joanne's life was held in the G nier-Thomson Funeral Home Chapel in Kapuskasing on Tuesday, December 9th, 2003. Donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family. Predeceased by her brother Arthur Hurlburt and sister Pearl Morskey. In her 96th year. At Hillsdale Estates Oshawa on Wednesday December 3, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Robert Alexander Kennedy. Loving mother of Pauline Roberts (Oshawa), Irma & her husband Dr. Hans Luyken (Waterloo), Shirley & her husband Hugh Harris (Oshawa), Alex Kennedy (Oshawa), Margaret & her husband David Gray (Dunchurch) and Bruce Kennedy (Barrie). Devoted grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Saturday December 6th from 2-3pm at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 812 Hortop St. Oshawa followed by the Funeral Service at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Hillsdale Estates, Residents Fund.

LINDSAY, Davina Cowan -
(1899 - 2003). Beloved wife of the late James Lindsay. Dearest mother of Jeanne Ballantine of Parksville, BC, Eric of Elmira, NY, and the late Douglas of Bancroft, ON. Daughter of the late James & Jane Cowan, she came to Canada from Scotland in 1919. Davina is the last of a family of 6 sisters and 2 brothers. She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, a nephew in Scotland, a niece in England and several great grandchildren. She was kind, loving and giving and will always be remembered in our hearts. Our gratitude to the staff at Extendicare for their care over the years. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
