Loving and loved grandmother of Emma and Caroline. Dear aunt of her family in Pickering and Thorold. Funeral service to be held in the chapel of the McEachnie Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Retired Staff Inspector with the Metro Toronto Police Services. Peacefully, at the family residence in Ajax, on Wednesday, August 6, 2003. Clifford Gazey, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Ria and the late June. Loving father of Shelley and her husband Stephen Dolhan, Kathleen Gazey, and Jeffrey and his wife Cheryl. Lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren. Brother of the late Harry and Doreen. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Service at Pickering Village United Church (300 Church Street North, Ajax), on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Parkinson Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

GOWER, Annie Jane Palmer Ambrose -
Peacefully at Hillsdale Manor on Wednesday August 6, 2003 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry J. Gower. Loving mother of Jim Gower & his wife Laurene of Barrie, Edna Barnes & her husband Ted of Oshawa, Millie Brown of Perrytown, Ruth Butler of Courtice & Peggy Wilson & her husband Harvey of Cobourg. Predeceased by her daughter Anne, sons in law Arthur Brown and Murray Butler. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Annie worked for many years at the Oshawa General Hospital and will be fondly remembered by many co-workers and friends. A private family service was held in Oshawa on Saturday, August 9, 2003. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (905-433 4711).

(Member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 11528, Brooklin and Whitby Assembly No. 2287). At the St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto after a short illness with his family at his side on Wednesday, August 6th, 2003 in his 71st year. Lou, beloved husband of Barbara Miskimmin. Loving father of Michelle (Scott), and Louise (Kevin). Proud grandfather of Michael, Jessica, Brandon, Taylor and Devon. Also survived by his sisters Fern, Lucy and Lolly. Mr. Regimbal will be resting at the W.C. Town Funeral Home, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers in the Chapel Friday 8 p.m. with Father Phil Jones. Viewing from 10 a.m. Saturday to 10:45 a.m. at the church followed by Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:45 a.m. from St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church, 690 King Street East, Oshawa (Wilson and King).

Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 89. John Zidner of Port Perry, beloved husband of Erika (nee Urv). Loving father of John Zidner Jr. and his wife Christiane of Port Perry. Loved grandfather of Michelle and John-Philip. John will be missed by his nephews and their families. Stan's involvement with The Bay Ridges Kinsmen Club soon evolved into a lifetime of friendships with the K-40 gang. 'The Game' and coffee at Timmies were amongst his many loves. His Canadian family supplied him with the best of times and their loving support is beyond compare. Thanks Dek. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of The Rouge Valley Health System, Ajax.
