Loving father of Richard and his wife Joanne of Brooklin and Pierre Fauteux of Whitby. Dear grandfather of Jessica Chantal Fauteux. Brother of Rita Corbett of Stittsville, Leona LaLonde of Ottawa and Fleur-Ange Larkin of Ottawa. Predeceased by Roger Fauteux of Cornwall, Cecile Fauteux of Ottawa, Bernadette St. Onge of Montreal. Special thanks to doctors Miller and Simone, the C6 and ICU nursing staff and doctors of Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for their wonderful support. Entered into rest after a courageous battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Whitby on Saturday, April 12, 2003. Blanche, beloved wife of the late Robert Galliah. Formerly Mrs. Bill Judd (nee Brown). She was a loving mother who will be missed by her children Eric Judd (Nellie) of Fredericton, NB, Susan Pettit (Paul Lapointe) of Bowmanville, ON, Paul Judd (Jennifer) of Whitby, ON, Robin Judd (Susan) of Manitoba, Cindy Plakmeyer (Gerrit) of Oshawa, ON, Sandra Webb (Larry) of Oshawa, ON, and Leonard Judd (Laura) of Oshawa, ON. Fondly remembered by her brothers Ted Brown, Bill Brown, Ken Brown, all of Huntsville, ON, Bob Brown of London, ON, and Chuck Brown of Owen Sound, ON. Dear grandmother to 15, great- grandmother to 19, and great-great-grandmother to 1. The family will receive friends at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Past Matron of Durham Lodge Chapter #181 of the Eastern Star, Past Grand Officer for Grand Chapter of Ontario, Past Grand Secretary of the Grand Chapter of Ontario and Past District Deputy and Matron of District 11 of Grand Lodge. On Friday, April 11, 2003 at the age of 90 years. Leola beloved wife of the late George Thrasher, together forever. Loving Aunt of Lynda and her husband Francis MacDonald. Loved Great Aunt of Mark, Tim and Ray. Dear sister of the late Jack Miller. Dear and special cousin of Alice Harrison and Laura Harrison. Leola's last years were full of love and compassion from her special friends Cindy, Noreen and Wayburn Adams. Cremation with interment of cremated remains with her husband George in Bowmanville Cemetery. Vera, beloved wife of the late Charlie Read, and the late Chris Kaan. Loving mother of Donald James Read and his wife Adrienne Joan, Barbara May Lee and her husband Michael, and Noreen Anne Poyton and her husband Ray. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kathy (Ron), Michael (Cathy), Karen (Steve), Jeff, John (Carrie), Susan, and Sharon, and great grandchildren Colin, Pamela, Darren, Krista, Bobby, Christopher, Michelle, Gregory, and Nicholas. Vera loved her music and was very involved in choirs and at the Oshawa Senior Citizens Centre playing the piano, and spent many hours with her charity work. Vera will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
