Passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Manor on Thursday April 10, 2003. Edna Luella Reeson born in West Whitby Twp. October 18, 1900, daughter of the late George and Ida Reeson. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Yourth. Dear sister of Lula Bagg and the late Flossie Pierson, May Jackson and Gordon Reeson. Also survived by step daughter Yvonne Bateman and husband Jack, step daughter in law Doris Yourth, and step son in law George Jackson and wife Doreen and several nieces and nephews. A private family service was held Monday April 14, 2003 in the Chapel of ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with interment in Oshawa Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

DAVEY, Leon -
Passed away peacefully April 9th, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Whitby at the age of 80. Beloved husband for 60 years of Dorothy (nee Robison). Loving father & father-in-law of Sharon & Reg, Robert & Debra, Darci & Ian. Proud Papa & friend of Christopher, James, Jesse, Michael, Stephen & Kyle. New great-grandfather of Sergio & Christian. Leon, with his family, moved from Cobourg in1958 to become manager of Auto Workers Credit Union until his retirement in 1987. Throughout his career, Leon also served on the executive of many Boards of Directors. Being an avid golfer, he particularly enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors of the Oshawa Golf Course from 1974-1983. During their life together, Leon & Dorothy enjoyed extensive travel & spending countless hours on the golf course. Special thanks to Dr. Trojanowski & the 4th floor nurses & staff at Lakeridge Health Whitby for their outstanding care & compassion. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME on Monday April 14th 2-4 and 7-9. A private family service will be held Tuesday. NIGHTINGALE, Lillian Mae (nee Ennis) -
Lillian passed away peacefully on April 9, 2003 at her Parry Sound residence in her 72nd year. Lillian graduated from nursing in 1953, and retired from General Motors Truck Plant in 1987. Beloved wife of the late James Nightingale. Loving mother of Joanne Nightingale of Toronto, Lynn and her husband Wayne Barry of Nobel, Janet and her husband Stew McGibbon of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Melissa and Sarah. Lillian was a special aunt of Judy Douglas and will be sadly missed by her great nieces Jane and Susan. Dear sister of Robert Ennis of Fergus. Predeceasedby her brother Orwell Ennis, and sisters Hazel Gibson and Marian Fraser. Lillian will be fondly remembered by her other relatives and life long friends spanning over 50 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Torrance Funeral Home & Chapel (89 Bowes St., Parry Sound 705-746-4664) on Sunday April 13, 2003 from 1pm - 3pm. with the Memorial Service following at 3 pm. Donation to Nightingale's Memorial Garden would be greatly appreciated by the family.
