Vera Casey, in her 82nd year, passed away April 1st, 2003. Much loved daughter of the late Harry and Harriet Carr. Beloved wife of Tom (60 years together November 22, 2003). Loved and loving mother of Tommy and Lorraine, Steve and Pat, and Chris and Wally Hammond. Doting grandma to Russell, Jonathon, Mathew, T.J., Adam and only granddaughter Stephanie. Mom lived for her family. We wish to thank Drs. Damus and Chapman, Lakeridge Health Unit Uxbridge, Lynne Smart (co-ordinator) and all the nurses who looked after Mom so caringly. A private family funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, 15 Yonge St. S., Elmvale, Ontario (705) 322-2732.

COX, Frank G. 'Bud' (Veteran WWII RCAF) -
Peacefully at Toronto on Tuesday April 1, 2003. Bud, loving husband of the late Marg. Predeceased by brothers Alfred, Perk and sister Clara. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre after 11:30 a.m. Saturday. A funeral service to celebrate Bud's life will be held at 1 p.m. Cremation.

DODD, Zena Minerva (nee Watts) -
March 20th, 1905 - April 1st, 2003. Wife of the late Thomas Cyril Dodd. Mother of Benjamin (Ajax), Zena (Madoc), Adella (California). Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by infant son Thomas Cyril, grandchild Richard, great grandchildren Krystal and Adam. In memory of Zena, family and friends are invited to visit 1-5 p.m. on Saturday April 12th at 12 Callander Court, Ajax.

HANNON, Alice -
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 1, 2003. Dear mother of Jerry and Joan. Nana of four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 2-3 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2003. Loving grandfather of Kristal, Megan, Matthew, Andrew and Sara-Lyn. Special brother-in-law to Eleanor of Ingelside. In her 96th year, died peacefully at the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry on Sunday, November 28, 2004. Hilda, formerly of Peterborough, Kitchener, Toronto and Port Perry was predeceased by her husband Harvey and her three sisters Elsie, Kathleen and Marjorie. Loving mother of Barbara Simmonds and her late husband, David Simmonds. Hilda will be fondly remembered by 6 grandchildren and 24 great- grandchildren: Bob and Louise Simmonds (Allison, Michael, Chip, Patrick), Don and Fay Simmonds (Shauna, Craig, Brett, April and Amber- predeceased), Bev and Rob Foster (Aimee, Jeremy, Mark, Josee), Gord and Sharon Simmonds (Matt, Krista, Scott, Jason), Jennifer and Philip Wilson (Katie, Sara, Jeffrey), Janet and Glenn Winder (Todd, Lyndsay, Carleigh, Travis). She was a special aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by the staff and her many friends at the Community Nursing Home and Villa. Special thanks to Kim Mitchell, Mary Anne Elliott, Dr. John Stewart and all the Nursing Home staff who have so patiently and lovingly cared for her for the last thirteen years.
