Quietly at Lakeridge Health Corp. Bowmanville on Thursday March 18th, 2004 aged 80 years. Loving wife on Anton. Survived by her brother Jacob Klemens. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday March 22nd, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Union Cemetery. HEIKAMP, Jacoba -
Passed away peacefully at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, Ontario, on Thursday, March 18, 2004 in her 75th year. Jacoba's presence will be deeply missed by her children Anita and Gerrit (Sylvia), her grandchildren Jacinda, Leigh, Corey and Sean, her great- grandchildren Alex, Kaylah and Daniel, as well as family in Holland and the U.S. Jacoba was a beautiful person who demonstrated her people skills as proprietor of a jewellery store. She was a loving individual who gave her time and talent for the benefit of others. The service will be held at the Pickering Village United Church, 300 Church Street North, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-683-4721, at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2004. A luncheon will follow. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, memorial donations to the Charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.

Suddenly at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Thursday, March 18th, 2004. Beloved husband of Evelyn for 50 years. Dear father of Katherine Hines and like a father to David Scott. Brother of Garth A. Hines and his wife Geraldine and the late Jean Alchin (William) and Mary Daniels (James). Son of the late William and Geraldine Hines. Don will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. (Don was very active in the Masonic Lodge - Temple Lodge No. 649, Oshawa, Toronto Lodge of Perfection, Oshawa Scottish Rite Club, Toronto Chapter Sovereign Princes Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign Consistory, Hamilton Rameses Shrine Potentate (1982), Oshawa Shrine Club, Oshawa Scottish Rite, Pentalpha Chapter, St. John the Almoner, Perceptory, Knight Templar, Inspector-General 33rd Degree Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Heritage Lodge No. 730, Cambridge, York Council No. 133, Correspondence Circle Quattuor Coronate Lodge No. 2076, London, England, Provincial Grand Master of the Royal Order of Scotland). At Don's request, there will be no visitation or service. Much loved mother of Linette Landry, Lucienne and Myles Wood, Noella Leclerc, Aline and Ray Lunau, Louise Dynes and Fred Alfred, Loraine Caron (deceased), Michel Leclerc, Rochelle Leclerc, Gwen and Allen Jewel, Valerie Johnston and Pablo Naseiro, Dorothy and David Tasker, Jim Johnston and Steve Kurhan. Forever missed by her loving twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Lorrett Farley and Gilberte Sloan, Larry and Mary Marconi, and sister-in-law of Mary Jeffereys. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 82 Church Street. Ajax (Pickering Village), on Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at 11:30 a.m.

Loving father of David (Yvonne), Terrance (Carolyn) and Sherry (Charles). Proud grandfather of Samantha, Ronda, Steven, Wendy and Kim. Step-grandfather of Audrey and Peter. Great grandfather of Nicholas, Christopher, Taylor, Alex, Erica, Tara, Taylor, Travis, Zachary, Joshua and Sara, and great step-grandfather of Craig and Nicole. Fondly remembered by sisters Pat and Viola. Resting at the W.C. Town Furneral Chapel. Gone Home to be with his Lord, peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, March 18th, 2004, in his 87th year. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Marjorie (Mulock). Son of the late George Thomas and Rose (Prouse) Straughan. Brother of Don, Rose (Barrett) and predeceased by Rita, Irene, Ed, Logan, Fred and Howard. Father of Ken and his wife Donna of Uxbridge, Darlene and partner Tom of Maxwell and Michael of Stouffville. Lovingly remembered by his eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Many thanks to the Staff at Bon-Air Nursing Home in Cannington who will miss his great sense of humour and musical talents. Funeral Service to be held in the Low and Low Funeral Home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Family and friends wishing to celebrate his life may make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer Society.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday March 18, 2004. Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland on July 17, 1942. Donny will be dearly missed by many family members and friends. A funeral service was held in the chapel of the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S., (just north of 401 at the lights) on Friday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment in Bond Head Cemetery.
