Peacefully, after a courageous battle against cancer, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, July 2nd, 2004 in her 51st year. Daughter of the late Cecil and Audrey. Loving mother of David and his wife Lori Warren, Missy Warren, Amanda Warren and her fiancé Murray Tucker and remembered by their father Leon Warren. Devoted sister of Gordon and his wife Diane Giasson, Debbie and her husband Rick Lediard, Brenda and her husband Will Gauthier, Wayne Smith, Wanda Wilkinson and her fiancé Paul Trent. Loved father of Daniel (Anne), William John (Sharon), Maureen (Wes), Allan (Gail), Gerry (Christine), Pauline (Chris), and Sean. Lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren Lisa, Jennifer, Amanda (Scott), Tonya, Sarah, Rachel, Katie, Krystal, Mary Kate, Jared, Joshua and Ashley and his great grandson Noah. Daniel will be remembered by his sister Jean Raddish of Wales and may brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews in Scotland. Special thanks to the nurses of 4 Main at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassionate care especially Brenda and Rosemary. HORNER, John Arthur Manson -
In his 89th year, formerly of Shawville, Que died peacefully July 1, 2004 in Hillsdale nursing home in Oshawa, ON. Predeceased in 1988 by his wife, Grace Horner (nee Carswell) of Bryson. He was the son of the late Arthur and Florence Horner of Shawville and beloved brother of Iva Vickery and Margaret Horner both of St. Petersburg Fl. Loving father of two sons; John of Oshawa and Donald of Wallaceburg, ON., two daughters; Elizabeth Morton of Oshawa and Elaine Gerrow of Havelock, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also predeceased in 1994 by grandson Daniel Gerrow of Havelock, ON.

McILVEEN, Phyllis Ruth -
Peacefully, in Oshawa, on July 1, 2004, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Don McIlveen for 60 years. Loving mother of Dianne and Doug Lamb, Gail and Jerry Dionne, Sharon Couvier, and Laurie and Shawn Priske. Dearest grandmother of Brett, Trent and Dorothy, Rachael, and Meredith; Sean and Ruth, Miranda and Khadar, and Robin; Tara and Jenna; Cameron and Gillian. Cherished great-grandmother of Michael, Kaitlin, Jacob, Cody and Shad. Special sister of Jean Elliott, Shirley McNelly, and the late Flossie Roberts, Olive Kelly, Clarence McNelly, Norris McNelly and Lois Vosberg. Also fondly remembered by Don's family and her many friends. After several months of battling a critical illness, specially cared for by granddaughter Joyce Branton, Jean passed away Thursday morning, July 1, 2004. Jean was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church, Oshawa. She loved cooking and entertaining people, especially her family. Her joys are left with Marjorie Hogan, Dallas, Texas and son Frank Stackaruk, Stony Plain, Alberta. She was frequently visited by her grandchildren, Shari Jamison of Dallas, Randy Stackaruk of Oakville and caregiver Joyce Branton of Ajax. Other grandchildren include 3 from the Frank Stackaruk family in Alberta. She had 7 great-grandchildren. Additional immediate family includes Helen Musoronchan, Lena Humeny, Vicki Symboluk, Isabelle DesJarden, Peter Olynyk and Jack Olynyk. Peacefully after a short illness, with his beloved wife Dora by his side, at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care Facility on Thursday, July 1, 2004, in his 76th year. Charles, loving husband for 54 years of Dora Ellen (Doreen) of Wilmot Creek. He will be sadly missed by his son Douglas Charles and his wife Catherine Lee of Orono. Loving Grandpa of Jamie Lee. Survived by three brothers and a sister in England and their families. Mardy passed away peacefully in her 80th year with her family at her side on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Strathaven Life Care Centre. Marty is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Mel and dear sons James (Jimmy) 1990, and Joseph (Joey) 1988. She is survived by son Gerald and daughter Linda and her husband Mike Miller. Mardy leaves behind her son Jimmy's wife (Lorraine) and granddaughters Sharon and her husband Mike Herbst; Lynda and Elizabeth; great grandchildren Karleigh, Mitchell, Taylor, and Shane. Mardy is pre-deceased by her brothers Stewart, Frank, Howard and her dearest sister "Betty". Mardy is also survived by dear sisters Millie, Marie and Shirley.
