Dear brother of Kathleen and her husband the late Jack, Martha and her husband Robert of Northern Ireland, Joey and his wife Lila and Melvyn and his wife Yvonne. PERSAUD, Mark -
Passed away at Centenary Hospital on January 16, 2004 at the age of 44. Beloved husband of Cecilia. Loving father to Mark Jr., Natalie and Devi. Also grandfather to Salena and Brandon. Loving son of Johanna Persaud. Brother to Patrick, Patricia, Stanislaus, Lauren, Rudolph, Prescilla, Roberta and Richard. Uncle to 38 nieces and nephews and their families. Brother in law to Rose (Trevor), Ann and Hannah (Asgar). Mark will be missed by many family and friends. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 5 East Wing at Centenary Hospital. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday January 23, 2004. Passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday January 16, 2004 in his 84th year. Survived by his loving and caring wife Joyce. Dear father of Brenda Williams, Mary Power, the late James Power and his wife Shirley, Barbara and her husband John Holmes, Catherine and Michel Rancourt, Tina and her husband Brian Doherty. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Andy, Ian, Kevin, Phillip, Jennifer, James 1V, Warren, Lauren, Meghan, Rachel, John, Drew, Noelle, Justin, Jean-Paul, Jeffrey, Thomas, and Stephen, and by 7 great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Marion Lamb. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Gregory the Great on Wednesday January 21, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Spring burial in Aloysius Cemetery, Fenelon Falls. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations to Covenant House of Toronto would be appreciated.

Loving mother of John, Wilma (Brian) Seeney, Harvey (Tracie), and Theresa (Scott). Betty will be sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Shelly Seeney and her special friend Sam Towner. Dear sister of Lien (Bert) and Tilly, both of Holland, and predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister. Betty will be sadly missed by all of her family in Holland and her dear friends. NOBLE, John (Jack) -
Passed away on January 14, 2004. Jack was a courageous and spirited man who fought valiantly, for thirty-five years against the debilitating effects of rheumatoid arthritis. He was a creative and resourceful man who embraced all of life's challenges. Loving father to Mary-Louise, Susanne and Michelle and their partners Jillian, David and Neil. 'Grandpa Jack' to Laurel, Audrey, Madeline, Declan and baby Iain. Survived by his brothers and sister in Scotland. He will be sadly missed by his Canadian cousins, his dear friends and the 'girls' at Faith Place. Our deepest gratitude goes to the '3F' nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Centre for their exceptional and compassionate care of our father. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m., at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558), followed by a reception. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Arthritis Society.

Loving father to Karen Parry of Oshawa, Lori and her husband Bill Bigwood of Whitby, and Stephen Clark of Calgary. Proud Poppa to Aaron Parry, Dean and Shane Bigwood. Brother of the late Bill Clark. Ken Clark was a 27 year Veteran of Station 7 and 17 of the Toronto Fire Department. A long standing member of Toronto Fire Department Colour Guard, also a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Lions Club. Family and friends will be received at the Low & Low Funeral Home on Friday, January 16th, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 17th, at 2 p.m. Memorial donations made to the Durham Region Cancer Centre, 1 Hospital Court, Oshawa ON L1G 2B9 would be appreciated.

Edward was retired from Canadian National Railways Police, serving in Sarnia for over 30 years.
