Dear father of Kenneth; Shelagh & Gene Dinneen and Glenn & Joanne Murphy. Step-father of Charles & Lynda Crowther and Jamie & Peggy Crowther. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Harold & Gwen Murphy and sister Edith McLaughlin. Predeceased by his brothers Hugh and Albert. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday January 4th. Funeral service in the chapel 11 a.m. Monday January 5th. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be make to Fairview Lodge, The Second Nest or a Charity of your Choice. A Legion Service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m.

SYMONS, Greta -
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday January 1, 2004 at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her parents William & Lila Symons. Greta was a long time resident of Bowmanville and she will be sadly missed by her many friends. Funeral Service was held Saturday, January 3, 2004. Memorial Donations may be made to Crossroads Assembly.

VETZAL, Michael -
At Springdale Country Manor, Peterborough on Thursday, January 1, 2004, in his 86th year. Michael, beloved husband of Vicki Varcoe. Loved father of Patrick and his wife Arlene of Bancroft, Susan and her husband Don Reekie of Barrie, Timothy (George) and his wife Dianne of Bowmanville. Michael was also survived by his loving grandchildren Ted, Tracy, Michael, Nora, Tim, Shannon, Sarah, Victoria and James and his great-grandchildren Allie, Abbey, Huey and Lucy. Michael is brother to Buck Vetzal and his wife Millie and the late Shorty Vetzal and Elsie Prout. Friends may pay their respects at the Morris Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 3, 2004 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Donations in Michael's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Association would be gratefully appreciated.

(Retired from General Motors Battery Plant). Peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Uxbridge, at age 73. Alf Warrell of Port Perry, beloved husband of Beatrice (nee Rogers). A Private Service to celebrate the life of Alf Warrell was held in the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905 985-2171) on Saturday, January 3rd at 2 p.m. with Major John Gerard officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation in Port Perry.

BARLOW, Agnes Elizabeth (Bessie) -
On Sunday, February 29, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Port Perry in her 94th year. Bessie Love, beloved wife of the late John Robert Barlow. Dear mother of Bob, Bill and Betty Jordan. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Bryce, John, and Anne Sinai and great-grandchildren Bryan, Mark, Leah, Ben and Kelsey. Predeceased by her brothers Ross and Everett and sisters Winnie Cox and Marion Iles. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Low and Low Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Visitation two hours before. In Bessie's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Port Perry Community Memorial Hospital Foundation.

BAYS, William (Bill) Ronald -
Peacefully on Sunday February 29, 2004, at 81 years of age at Rouge Valley Hospital, Ajax. Loving husband for 58 years to Joyce, father of John (wife Nancy), Dave, Gord (wife Melanie), and Lori (husband Bob). Brother to Russ. Loved Grandpa to Kelly, Carey, Chris, Leanne, Kevin, Lindsay, Tara and Jennifer. A private family service was held on Tuesday March 2, 2004. Donations in Bill's memory would be appreciated to the Rouge Valley Hospital, Ajax.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Ontario on Sunday February 29th, 2004. Bill at the age of 72. Beloved husband and best friend of Gwen (nee Abraham) for 53 years. Loving father of Jack and his wife Cheryl and Sherri and her husband Bob. Loving Papa of Jacki, Shelly, Billi and Shana. Leaves behind great- grandsons Jacob, Justin, Hunter, Max, Brody and Brock and great-granddaughter Tashai. Survived by his brother John and his wife Shirley, sister Carol and husband John and sister-in-law Maude. Predeceased by his brother Earl and sisters Marion and Doreen. Dear son of Oenwen Bailey and the late Herbert. Dear step-son of Arthur Bailey of Yorkshire, England. Sadly missed brother-in-law of Morag and her husband Frank Chew, niece Amanda "Mandy" Chew and aunt Mary Halliday and family. Ken was a civilian instructor and official photographer with the Ontario Regiment Cadet Corps (1913) of Oshawa, where he tirelessly volunteered his time. After a courageous battle, Jack passed away at Toronto General Hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2004, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Janice. Predeceased by parents Harry and Margaret Bender of Deseronto and sister Phyllis Allcorn. Survived by sister Lynn Leonard of White Lake, Ontario. Former member of the Storrington Lions Club. Passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2004, after a lengthy illness, at the Community Nursing Home, Pickering, Ontario, in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald. She is lovingly remembered by her son Eduardo Jaen and his wife Beverley, grandsons Alfredo and Roberto (Wendy), 3 great- grandchildren, 2 great-great-granddaughters, and many friends. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2004, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of the late Ethel West, nee Ferguson. He will be missed by his daughter Carrol, sisters Caroline Beatty, Shirley (Jack) Walker and brother Ron (Dolores). He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as his faithful companion Buddy. Passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Foreman. Cherished mother and friend of son Guy Foreman and his wife Lesley, and daughter Lynn Foreman. Grandmother of Guy and Nina Lewicki, Brad Foreman and Andrea, Kim Foreman and Stephanie. Great grandmother of Kenny, Angel and Ashley Lewicki.
We will meet again beyond the earth beyond the starry sky among the angels who live on and know not the words Good-Bye.
Love lost through everything past death and forever in our hearts.
