Beloved wife of the late Paul Kirby. Mother of Rick and his spouse Ellen Taylor (Ottawa and abroad). Specially remembered by her niece Fran Barnes (Toronto). Predeceased by her brothers Alf, Norman, Joe (Clary) and sisters Kay, Rita and Helen. Friends may call at the Accettone Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 11th at St. Bernadette's Church, 21 Bayly Street East (Bayly and Harwood) at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Charity of your choice in Gladys' memory would be appreciated by her family. KRUPA, Theodore (Ted) -
(Retired from the TTC Queensway Garage in 1986, after 34 years of service). Passed away peacefully on February 7, 2004 at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, in his 76th year. Loving husband of 43 years to Alice (nee Lewandowski). Dear father to Joanne and father-in-law to Ken Sumpter. Loving 'Grampy' to Madeline. Cherished brother of Henrietta Pisarzowski and Susan Jacobs. Ted will be sadly missed but remembered fondly by his family as well as Alice's family, and his many friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 82 Church Street South, Ajax (Pickering Village), on Thursday, February 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. MACLEOD, Keith R. -
(Employee of General Motors of Canada for 31 years). Suddenly at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Saturday February 7, 2004. Keith MacLeod at 49 years of age. Beloved husband of Roselyn MacLeod. Loving father of Sherry, Brandi and Daniel and father in law of Donnie McEachern and James Arsenault. Loving son of Wayne and Flora MacLeod. Lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Taylor. Keith has now joined his grandson Brayden in Heaven. Dear brother of David and his wife Donalda and Earlene and her husband Mike Shewman. Predeceased by his father in law and mother in law Purtell and Luguarda Quick. Keith will be fondly remembered by his many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and friends. RETI, Paul -
At Community Care Nursing Home, Pickering on Saturday, February 7, 2004 in his 76th year. Loving father of Eva, Paul and Tunde. Predeceased by his mother, father and two sisters in Hungary. CARTER, Doreen (nee Price) -
Doreen passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, February 6, 2004. Doreen was the loving wife for 49 years to Ron, both from London, England. A cherished mother to Paul (Victoria), Alison (Jeff Gibson), and Ian (Paddi). Doreen will be sadly missed by her sister Joan Strood (England). She will always be remembered by her grandchildren Ashley, Mathew, Stephen, Jaclyn and Calvin. She will always be remembered for her selfless devotion to family and friends and the strength that she displayed throughout her life. After a courageous fight with cancer, at the Scarborough Centenary Health Centre, on February 6, 2004, Nancy Murphy (nee Hahn), loving wife of Leo. Devoted mother of Shonagh and Erin. Loving sister of Judy Pelletier, Brian and Dennis. Nancy will be fondly remembered by her many family and friends. Special thanks to the nurses in the Chemo Clinic at Scarborough Centenary Hospital. Richard will be sadly missed by his siblings Bridgette, Maureen, Marcia, Thelma, Bazil (Junior), Chris and John. He is predeceased by his parents Norman and Carmen Silvera. Richard will be fondly remembered by his extended Silvera, Smit and Maclnnis families and countless friends. Passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry on Thursday February 5th, 2004 in his 81st year. Dearly loved husband of Inez Curl. Much loved father of Lucille Curl of Kinmount, Gary Curl and his wife Candelaria of Scarborough, Debbie and her husband Chuck Dickey of Owen Sound, Tammy and her husband Scott Noyon Whitby. Predeceased by Wayne. Fondly remembered by Larry Swartz. Loving grandfather of Julia, Natalie, Geophrey, Graham, Ian and Reilly. Great grandfather of Tristan. Survived by his brother Walter Curl of Coboconk, and his sister Ardath Pringle of Mount Forest. Predeceased by his brothers Chelsey and Reg. Fondly remembered and sadly missed by his Foster Children. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN LTD., 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin Village from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Then to Brooklin United Church, where family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. Monday until time of funeral service to follow in the church at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at GROVESIDE Cemetery. LEBLOND, Joseph Jean Guy -
General Motors Corporation 40 years service. Peacefully on Thursday, February 5th, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville at the age of 70. Guy is survived by his wife Cora, his children Guy Jr., Danny, and Lisa and her husband Keith Swanton, his grandchildren Ron and Krystle-Leigh Swanton and his brother Fred and his wife Lucy LeBlond, and sisters Doreen LeBlanc, and Lea and her husband Rene Girard. Guy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends. MCALLISTER, Doreen Elizabeth (nee Murphy) -
Peacefully in her home on Thursday, February 5, 2004. She married Kevin McAllister Sr. in 1953 and moved to Whitby in 1967 where they raised four sons. Doreen's love and pride was her family. Before her retirement, Doreen enjoyed working with Kevin in running the family business until his death in 1997. Doreen always displayed her own sense of style and a positive outlook on life. She is survived by her four sons and their families; Kevin & Jane of Whitby; Tom & Patti of Toronto; Bob & Barb of Whitby; Patrick & Helen of Whitby, and eleven grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers and their families; Bill & Marie Murphy of Toronto; Russ & Gerry Murphy of Oshawa; Tom & Edna Murphy of Stillwater, Minnesota and her brother in law and his family, Ian & Jenny McAllister of Montreal. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with visitation Sunday from 2 -4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 903 Gifford Street, Whitby on Monday, February 9th at 10 a.m. Interment will be on Tuesday on Doreen & Kevin's beloved Wolfe Island.
