Peacefully entered into her Lord's presence at Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Monday, August 30th, 2004, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Skinner. Loving mother of Darlene (Ken) Strickland. Dearest grandmother of Tim (Carol), Scott (Kristina), Mark (Wendy), Jennifer Taylor (Ken) and great-grandmother of Jacob and Josh. Survived by sisters Grace Thompson, Laura Ashton and predeceased by five brothers and four sisters. In Ivy's memory, donations may be made to the Crossway Bible Church or to the People's Church.

BENTLEY, Elmor Ernest -
Passed away Sunday, August 29th, 2004 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Edna (Green) for 62 years. Loving father to the late Allan (late Linda), and Sharon. Beloved grandfather to James (Kailla), Lori and Lisa (Travis). Great grandfather to Zachery. Dear brother of the late Willmot (Alma), the late Mervyn (late Velma), Dewitt (Norene), the late Carl, the late James (Dorothy), the late Dorothy (Fred). Will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and friends. Elmor worked for the Stouffville Co-op for over 25 years. He was a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows and the Uxbridge Seniors Curling Club. Elmor's passion for the past 26 years was the pursuit of the Bentley family history. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital would be appreciated.

Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tamara, Kassandra, Melissa, Tiffany, Samantha, Nicole, Lorissa, Evan, Hailey, Blake and by his great-grandchild Shaina. He will be sadly missed by his nieces Ola and Marika in Ukraine and his cousins Bill (Joyce), Irene, Bob (Aileen), and Zen. After a brief battle with cancer at Lakeridge Bowmanville on Sunday, August 29th, 2004 at the age of 71. Beloved husband and friend of Elva (nee Luke) for 48 years. Loving father of Joanne (Clarence) MacPherson of Whitby and David of Bowmanville. Devoted 'Grampy' to Ken and Meghan MacPherson. Dear brother of David (Marie) of Toronto. Predeceased by his parents Agnes and David McCalden. MISCHKOFSKY, Lilli -
After a long and courageous battle with cancer at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care Facility on Sunday August 29th 2004. Lilli Mischkofsky in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Mischkofsky. Loving mother of Evelyn Faubert. Lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. Special thanks to the caring staff at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care Facility. NOBLE (Phalen) Judy Earlyne -
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy at the age of 61. She is survived by her loving husband Arnold, with whom she enjoyed almost 44 years of marriage, her 3 devoted daughters, Sheila, Brenda (Chris), Marilyn, and her son-in-law Don. Judy was the proud and doting Grandma to her 5 unique grandchildren; Brad, Greg, Laura, Jonathan, and Nicholas. Other family members she leaves behind are her brothers Jim (Janette), Pete (Linda), Perry (Rosemarie) and Ted (Betty Ann), her brother-in-law Art and sister-in-law Kathy, her uncles Tom and Pat (Lilli), many cousins, nieces and nephews, and she will be fondly remembered by her long time friends Harold and Dell, Judy and Joyce. Judy was predeceased by her 2 precious infant sons, Arnold and James, her dear mother Lillian, sister Audrey and brother Joe. Judy loved all her family deeply, with a fierce and protective love, and this love was returned to her abundantly. She was cherished by all and will be sadly missed. Judy had a career with the Becker Milk Co. for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her position as manager at the store on Simcoe St. N. She was a very hard worker and thrived at her job. Throughout her life Judy suffered many heartaches and illness'. She faced each one bravely and with determination. She had a strong faith in the Lord which helped her cope with these trying circumstances. For the past 3 years she struggled valiantly with breast cancer. Her tired spirit is now at rest. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Wednesday September 1, 2004 from 1p.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 2p.m. Donations can be made to the Oshawa General Hospital Foundation - Durham Region Cancer Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association, if desired.

SHAW, Kenneth Graham "Ken" -
Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday August 29th, 2004, aged 74 years. Predeceased by his first wife Avis Mae Shaw. Beloved husband of Lillian. Loving father of Kathy Cousins (Don), and stepfather of Stephen Welsh (Penny), Gary Welsh (Joann), Randy Welsh (Cathy), Wanda Smith (Steven). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tammy, Jeremy, Kathleen, Jason, Christine, Jason, Cyndi, Jennifer, James, Jason, Josh, Jeannette, Wendy and by his great grandchildren Madelyn, Coleton, Zachary, Zoe, Kyle, Tyler, MacKenzie, Landon and Logan. Ken will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. February 26, 1932 - August 28, 2004. Peacefully at his home in Oshawa, surrounded by his loving family. Art is survived by his loving wife Noriene. Much loved father of rick Parsons and his wife Olga, Linda Lepine, Gary Parsons and his wife Judi, Terry Parsons and his wife Cathy, Mike Parsons, and Kevin Parsons. Loved grandfather of Lisa Mubs (Steve), Cheri Kadivnih (Steve), Karen Paipa (Nathaniel), Tracy Parsons, Donna Lepine, Scott Parsons (Dianna), Great Grandfather of Alexis and Avery Parsons. Dear brother of donald Parsons, (Mary) Bowmanville, June Marchant, Bowmanville, Kathleen Casperson (Fleming), Hamilton, and Shirley-Ann Salter (Nelson), California. Art will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his large loving family and many dear friends whose lives have been forever touched by his courage and strength. Loving mother of Bob Rankin and his wife Pat of Port Perry, Jim Rankin and his wife Jean of Epsom, Ken Rankin and his wife Janet of Port Perry, Ray Rankin and his wife Jackie of Port Perry, David Rankin and his wife Pat of Scugog Island, and Susan and her husband Yvan Lebel of Scugog Island. Elva will also be sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill Pingle (deceased), Ora Howie (deceased), Jack Pingle of Ajax and Marilyn Ridgway of Cobourg. Loved daughter of the late Howard and Lucille Pingle.
