After a brief battle with Lymphoma, Anne went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23rd, 2004. Suddenly, in His infinite wisdom, our Heavenly Father received into His arms our precious wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Hans Snoek, her children Art & Nettie; Wilma & George DeGroot; Joyce & George Hoekstra; Dorothy & Savath Norng; Wendy & Siemen Speelman; Ellen & Tim Walton; Jim & Chris and Rob & Pam. Grandchildren Glen & Nicole; Rod & Rebecca (engaged); Jackie & Mark Engelage; Ben & Julia; Katie; David & Matthew Snoek-DeGroot; Phillip & Benjamin DeGroot; Timothy, Angela, Ryan, Jeremy, Joel & Emily Hoekstra; Shelly & Clarence Snyder; Kevin & Christina Norng; Amanda & Jonathan DeWeerd; Andrew, Rachel, Crystal, Stephen & Ian Speelman; James Walton; John, Aaron, Brad & Graham; Victoria, Nathan & Wesley and great-grandchildren Arden Engelage; Brendan & Josephine Snyder; Leah & Daniel Norng. Predeceased by her son John Edward (1983). Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, Bowmanville on Thursday August 26th at 1 pm. WHALEN, Robert E. -
25 year employee of General Motors, Oshawa. Died suddenly at Mt. Sinai Hospital on August 23, 2004 at the age of 45. Will be forever missed by his companion Norma Jean Tucker, her children, Sheila and Sarah. Very proud grandpa Rob to his step grandson Kristian. He is survived by his mother Evelyn Whalen, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, and their families. Will be fondly remembered by mother-in-law Pauline Stoner, sister-in-law Charlene Minassian, and her family. At Robert's request, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service and interment of ashes will be held. Should family and friends so desire, donations to Whitby Mental Health Centre, 700 Gordon Street, Whitby ON L1N 5S9 would be greatly appreciated.

(Owner of Hall Carriers Inc., Sales Associate with Russelle Toyota, 18-year member of Metro Toronto Police Force, member of Kawartha Golf and Country Club). Suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on Sunday, August 22, 2004, in his 64th year. Brian, loving husband, best friend and companion of Charlene for 34 years. Dear father of Cheryl Arends (Ralph) of Barrie, Stephen Bridger (Sharon) of Toronto. Pepe to Cobie, Ben-Morgan, D'Arcy, Mikayla, and Brian. Brother to Pat Brown of West Hill, Lorraine Morgester (John) of Anchorage, Alaska, Bruce Bridger (Margie) of Little Britain, Sharon Baker (Michael) of Ajax, and Wayne Bridger (Dianne) of Scarborough. Son-in-law of Earl Alberts of Toronto; brother-in-law of Maureen Werner of Toronto, Gary Alberts (Hilary) of Victoria, B.C., Bill Cox (Carolyn) of Napanee, and Frank Hepditch (Sharon) of Orillia. A Memorial Mass to be held in ST. Suddenly at Errinrung Nursing Home, Thornbury, on Sunday, August 22nd, 2004 aged 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Mary Harris and Theresa Bourdon. Father of Carol Hunt and Donna Cowan. Grandfather of Ryan and Tiffany. In keeping with Clifford's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Peacefully at her residence on Sunday, August 22, 2004 in her 82nd. year. Peggy, beloved wife of the late Hiram Alfred "Spec" Millson. Loving mother of Gordon and Barbara, Ted, Donald and Brenda, Tom and Gail, Lyle and Patricia, Marie and Les Goble, Marylou Wolfe, Dolores Stubbs, Gary and Patti, Karen and Brian Terry, Steven and Cindy and the late Wayne Marchant. Dear grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Mary Topple, June McKeen and Jim Nelson. Dearest brother of Diane and Tony Czajkowski, Susan and Terry Rose and Casey of Courtice. Dear friend of Karen Brown of Oshawa. Bobby also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Edmonton, Alberta as well as many dear friends. QUICK, Kathleen Jennie -
Kathleen entered into the Kingdom of Heaven peacefully at home on Saturday August 21, 2004. She was 82 years old, a former accountant and Sunday School teacher, a past member of the IODE and current member of the Eastern Star. Born in London, England, she came to Canada in 1946 as a War Bride. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald, in 1977. Kathleen leaves behind her daughter, Pauline, son-in-law, Jim and grandchildren, Donald and Kayte McCafferty. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Whitby on September 2, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her name to the Heart and Stroke Association would be appreciated.

WESCOTT, Ralph Harper -
(38 year employee of General Motors of Canada; W.W. II Veteran, serving in the R.C.A.F. from 1941 to 1946; Deputy Sheriff, Ontario County Court, 1974 to 1984). Peacefully, at Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday, August 21, 2004, in his 86th year. Ralph of Bethany (formerly of Oshawa), beloved husband of the late Roberta Eleanor Massey. Dearly loved father of Eleanor (Roy) Embury of Tecumseh, Elaine (Joseph) Serflek of Whitby, Norm of Bethany, Larry (Linda) of Port Perry.
