It is with great sadness that Dorothy's family announce her passing at Lakeridge Health Whitby on Thursday, August 19, 2004, after a valiant battle with thyroid cancer. Deeply missed by her husband of 44 years, Ronald, and her three sons and daughters-in-law, Gord (Denise), Bob (Stephanie) and Mark (Shawna). Devoted and beloved grandma of Erika, Shawn, Derek, Kristen, Richard, Kendal and Quinn. Dorothy will be missed by her many relatives, friends and neighbours and will be remembered for her boundless energy, her talent for needlework and her profound dedication to her family.
