January 27, 1936 - December 25, 2005. Peacefully at his home in Oshawa, surrounded by his loving family. Gord is survived by his wife Huguette, his son Michael O'Riley and his wife Angela, Sylvie MacLean and her husband Bruce. Also survived by grandchildren Ashley and Collette MacLean and Stephanie, David and Andrew O'Riley. Gord will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and many dear friends. Loving and devoted mother to her nine children: Joseph (Cheryl) of Newcastle, Davide (Brigitte) of Oakville, Helena (Dave) of Bowmanville, Mario (Sharon) of Port Hope, Donna (Ken) of Courtice, Lisa (Paul) of Burlington, Linda of Bowmanville, Paul (Lise) of Courtice, and Miguel of Courtice. Loving Grandma of 20 grandchildren, soon to be 22. Also missed by her special cat, K.C. TREEN, Patricia Anne (nee Lowe) -
July 1st, 1944 – December 23rd, 2005 Passed away surrounded by her loving family at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Friday, December 23rd, 2005 at the age of 61. Pat was born in Oshawa and spent her childhood in Whitby. She married Jim, the love of her life on April 28th, 1961 and was blessed with five children. The family lived throughout the Durham Region and as far as Kingston to settle in Oshawa again. She was more than proud of her family and eleven beloved grandchildren. Pat enjoyed travelling, casinos, bingo and her many friendships throughout the years. Pat leaves to mourn her loss, her devoted husband Jim of forty-four years; her son James (Vicki) Treen of Bowmanville, John (Jacquie) Treen of Newtonville, Joseph Treen of Oshawa, Judith (John) MacDonald of Courtice, Brian (Kimberley) Treen of Bowmanville and her eleven precious grandchildren, Madison, Zachary, Amanda, Sarah, Michelle, Juliana, Coray, Jamie Lynn, Kaitley, Briley and little Charley Anne, along with her brother William (Baugie) Lowe of Exeter, Pennsylvannia, John (Ruby) Lowe of Brooklin, sister Mary Hoover of Guelph, sister in-laws Alberta of Hobe Sound, Florida, and Doris Marco of Whitby. Predeceased by her parents John & Mary Lowe, brother Ross Lowe, sister Ruth Piper, brother in-laws Reg Piper and Gordon Hoover. Loving grandmother of Lauralyn, Martin, Valerie, Louise, Debbie, Wendy and great grandmother of 14 and great great grandmother of 3. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and all who knew her. HOGAN, Clinton Thomas –
Clint was a real character, and didn’t want to give in. But on December 22nd, in the company of his family, Clint passed away after his battle with cancer. He was a man that was full of life and will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He was a man that lived ‘one day at a time’ and took full advantage of that. Predeceased by his wife Betty, brothers Nelson and Murray, sister Jean and Esther of Arnprior. Beloved father of Diane Budd and Garnet Geroux. Loving grandfather of Eric, Kayla, Shelly, Wayne, Mark and Scott. Dear uncle to Valerie, Sandra, Greg, Andrew, Emerson, Maureen and Lorraine of Arnprior. Clint was a man that gave of himself unselfishly to others and will be remembered by all that knew him. We love you Clint. Dear Papa (grandfather) of 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his many relatives and by his church family. The family received friends at the W.C. W.W. II Veteran R.C.D. Percy died peacefully at the Winfield Retirement Home in Oshawa on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 in his 98th year. At Percy's request, no service was to be held. Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance will be held at the Winfield, Oshawa in February 2006.
