Of Oshawa, passed away on December 14, 2005. Wife of the late Jack Gearin. Philomena, born in Cookstown, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland will be sadly missed by her daughter Kerry and grandson Seamus of Toronto, her son John-Paul, his wife Cathy Orr and grandchildren Lily Rose and Nigel of Peterborough. Loving sister to the late Kathleen Leahy, Lily Darragh, Anne Burke and Arthur McCann all of Ireland. Philomena worked as a law clerk at Osgoode Hall and Donald Dodd’s office as well as a ward secretary at Oshawa General Hospital. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 18th at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME in Oshawa from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday December 19th at St. Gertrude’s Church at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Many thanks and much gratitude go out to all of Philomena’s caregivers from Homecare, especially Elizabeth and Sharon, and to all of her loving Taylor Avenue neighbours of 40 years. Please in lieu of flowers, donations or lobby efforts can be made to, or on behalf of: Grandview Children’s Centre, Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty.

MCENANEY, Jacqueline "Jackie" Alberta -
Passed away on Tuesday December 13, 2005, at Lakeridge Health, Port Perry, at the age of 78. Jackie, beloved wife of the late Basil "Bud". Loving mother of Bernie and Diane, Karen and Jack Cummings, and Lenard and Lynda. She will be held in the hearts of her grandchildren Adam (Lis), Sabrina, Michele, Sean, Carly (Abdul), Daryl (Marnie), Holly, and Stephanie. Great grandchildren Kassidy, Brooke, Logan, Gage, Hope, Cameron, Evan, Ryan, Hafsa, and Sydney. In Jackie's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or to the Community Memorial Hospital Foundation, Port Perry.

NILES-BOYES, Theresa (Tina) -
Passed away peacefully on December 13, 2005 at the age of 52, after a short and courageous battle with Cancer at the Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa, where she was employed for over 20 years as an X-Ray Technician. She left us quietly with her loving husband Mark and her good friend Gale by her side. Theresa was, a loving mother to daughter Carly and to son Shane; a beautiful daughter of George and Dorothy Niles; a wonderful sister and sister in-law to Mike (Claudia) Niles, Andy (Barbara) Niles, Denis (Brenda) Niles, Diane (Ray) Kopp, Mark (Annette) Niles, Bart Boyes and Debbie Woods and caring aunt to Paul, Ryan, Jennifer, Breanne, Christopher, Steven, Amber, Chelsy, Bill and Dillon. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday December 17, 2005 at 11:00 am at Paroisse Assomption De Notre-Dame Church, 384 Hillside Ave., Oshawa, Ont. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.

(Veteran of W.W. II) Peacefully with his family at his side, at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Viva Ritzie (nee Whiteman) for 62 years. Loving father of Gail Malette and her husband Kirk of Cornwall, Jacky Ritzie of Victoria, B.C., Peter Ritzie and his wife Joan of Hampton, Stephen Ritzie of Whitby, and Anita Grant and her husband John of Lindsay. Loving grandpa of Kevin, Nadine, Nicolle, Andrew, Scott, Laura, Sara, Megan, Peter, Amber, Angie, Craig, Colette and the late Grant. Great-grandpa of Tyler and Rebecca. Son of the late Andrew and Anna Ritzie. Dear brother of Polly, Mary, Irene and the late Olga, Julie, Walter, Steve, Bill, and twins Mikey and Johnnie. Peter will be fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law Kathryn Ritzie, his extended family and friends. ROBINSON, Mark Harvey -
Age 45 years. Suddenly at home on Tuesday December 13, 2005. Loving husband and best friend of Debbie. Cherished Dad of Konnor, Kayla, Kyle, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Jessica and Jason. Beloved son of Harvey and the late Joan Robinson. Mark was the rock and center of his family, he loved them and was devoted to them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 7-9 pm Sunday December 18, 2005. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Celia Cain and his sister Eileen Breen. Survived by his dearly beloved wife Eleanor of 58 years. Loving father of Connie Fawcett (Dan), Linda Ryalen (Arne) and Dale Friel (Wayne). Dear grandfather of Steven Pearce and Corinne Pearce; Stephanie Bateskey (Ted), April Roest (Mark), Martin Ryalen (Sarah); Sarah and Amanda Friel and great grandfather of Emily and Nolan Roest; Jack Bateskey; Murray Pearce. Brother of Don (Edith), Clayton and Robert (Joan) and brother in law of Roy Breen. Missed by many nieces and nephews. At William’s request there will be no Funeral Service. August 1907 - December 2005 On December 12, 2005, at the age of 98, our mother, grandmother, aunt and friend entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Irene is survived by her youngest son, Orville (Myrna) of Edmonton, son-in-law Carman Richardson, daughter-in-law Ruth Spiers, sister Clara Moring, 5 grandchildren, Karen Bedley, Paul Richardson, Janice Edwards, Judy Jeske, David Spiers, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband Elmer in 1965, her daughter Helen Richardson in 1981, her son Donald in 2001 and four sisters, Myrtle Woodcock, Leora Lassiter, Leona Starr and Mildred Armstrong.
