Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday March 9, 2005 at 9 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Visitation was held Tuesday 7-9 p.m.

Aged 35 years. Suddenly on Thursday March 3rd 2005. Dearly loved son of Velma & the late Percy Skinner. Survived by his loving daughter Taylor. Cherished brother of Alice & her husband Gary Marshall, Stirling & his wife Lesley & Angela Westbrook. Deeply missed by Sheryl, Riley & Shane Hanson. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Johnnie, Jason, Mike, Dee Dee, Nikki, Michelle, Bob and by her great grandchildren Alexander, Caden, Jesse, Jared, Kyle and Ethan. Resting at THE ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East with Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday March 6th, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Cataraqui Cemetery. BOTH, Helmut S. -
At the Rouge Valley Health System - Centenary Site on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Helmut, in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Joann. Loving father of Ron and Donna; Lori and Derrick Box; and David and Laura. Dear grandfather of Sara, Shane, Tyler, Ashley and Bradley. Son-in-law of Anne Pruce. Predeceased by his brother Harold. Uncle of Bruce and Marlene and great-uncle of Matthew, Jamie, Bradley and Kelly. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

CLARK, Brian Michael -
Living life to the fullest, as he always did, Brian Michael Clark died March 2, 2005 while snowmobiling in Golden, B.C. He was 29. Brian lived in Oshawa, Ont., where he was born and raised. He worked in Pickering, Ont. for Apex Sound and Light, where he was Manager of Production Services. As such, he traveled North America installing equipment and managing live shows of all kinds. He met and worked with numerous musicians and technicians for more than a decade at Apex. He could make musicians sound great in any venue, from large concert halls to arenas to the most intimate of clubs. Brian is survived and mourned by his parents, Warren Clark and Gail Clark, and by his stepmother, Sharon Clark, all of Oshawa. He also is survived and mourned by brother Adam Clark and sister-in-law Teresa Lomax Clark of Fort Mill, S.C. and by brother Christopher Clark and sister-in-law Jeanine LeRoy of London, Ont. He also is survived by his uncle and step-aunt, Donald and Eileen Clark of Sacramento, Calf.

CLEGG, Alison Jane -
Tragically on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, as the result of a car accident at age 47. Alison, beloved wife of John and loving daughter of Margaret and the late Thomas Docherty. Beloved mother of Jeffrey and Adam and step-mother of Anne and Ryan. Survived by her brother Robert and sister Laureen and sister-in-law Maureen. Fondly remembered by nieces Britney and Taylor and nephews Cole, Josh and Dustin. Funeral Service to be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Trinity United Church, Uxbridge. Cremation to follow. In Alison's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.

Aged 92 years. Peacefully at Altamont Nursing Home, West Hill on Tuesday March 1st 2005. Beloved wife of the late Earl Fahl. Loving mother of Jerry & his wife Wendy Nicholson. Dear step-mother of Louise, Gary & Jim. Loving Grama of Peter Nicholson, Michael & his wife Diane Nicholson, Cindy & her husband Mike Jones. Great-grama of Michaela & Joshua Nicholson, Tyler & Reese Jones. Donations in Margaret s memory would be appreciated to The Alzheimers Society.

HOLBROOK, Ingrid (nee Triffo) -
Passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, on vacation in Florida. Loving wife and best friend of Don. Beloved mother of Gordon and Jennifer, mother-in-law and friend to Gordon and Shannon. Cherished grandmother of Logan and Hannah. Dear daughter of Olga and Benidict Triffo, and sister of Erwin Triffo. Special thanks to all who knew her. Born June 8, 1928 in Thorburn, Nova Scotia, died at the Fairview Lodge, Whitby, March 1, 2005 after a courageous battle with alzheimer's. Loving wife of Donald of 54 years. Devoted mother of Deborah and her husband Karl Bloom, Yvonne and her husband Avo Albo, Michael Sanford and his wife Cynthia, Stephanie and her husband Ian Tinker. Adored grandmother of Melissa, Dana, Emily, Jared, Samantha, Ian and Alec. Survived by sister Grace Bryant and brothers Henry and Ronald Fraser. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 905 Giffard St., Whitby on Friday at 10a.m. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully at the Bowmanville Hospital, Wednesday, November 30th, 2005, in her 100th year. Wife of the late Lloyd Lang and Dr. Harold McPhee. LEGROS, JOHN AMABLE –
Passed away at the Ajax Pickering Hospital November 30th, 2005. John was in his 65th year. Longtime resident of St. Charles, Ontario and recently a resident of Iroquois Falls, Ontario. John was a successful business contractor in the construction field, which he has been doing for the last 30 years. John is survived by his wife Mariel and his daughter Lucy of Iroquois Fall, Ontario. Pre-deceased by his father Hector and his mother Amanda, and sister Annette and brothers Richard and Michael. Dear brother of Robert Legros (Jenny) of Whitby, ON, Daniel Legros (Rose) of St. Charles, ON, Pierre Legros (Monica) of Whitby, ON, sister Claudette German (Henry) of Sudbury, ON, Paul Legros (Tracy) of Thunder Bay, ON. Will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. MACKEY (nee Conlin), Joan Elva -
(Joan dedicated her life to her family) Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in her 79th year. Beloved and loyal wife of 52 years to Robert (Bob) Mackey of Whitby. Extra loving mother of Jayne and her husband Reg, Phil (late wife Christine), and always caring and concerned about Carol and her husband Dennis White of Newfoundland. Predeceased by her beloved parents Philip and Elva Conlin and grandson Zachary. May she be reunited with them in Heaven and watch over the souls of all of her grandchildren and family, especially her beloved Tiffany and her husband Kevin Hickey and new great-grandson Ronan Ryan, who she got to cuddle and enjoy for a few weeks, (thank you God, she got her Christmas present); her dependable and caring grandchildren Jeffrey and his fiancée Aidan; Courtney and Bradley Piper; her precious Robb and Grace Mackey; her beautiful Rachelle and Emily White. Joan will be missed by many bridge partners. She was past President of the Catholic Womens’ League, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and will be missed by her many friends. MALLATRATT, William Alfred (Bill) -
March 26, 1929-November 30, 2005 Passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 30, 2005 at his home in Lagoon City surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill is survived by his loving wife Marie (née Sainthill) of 48 years; cherished daughters Amy (Mikel Miller) of Whitehorse, YT, Susan (Steve Duggan) of Orillia, ON, Lynne (Kevin Sawyer) of Toronto, ON; his beloved grandsons Brenden Joseph, and twins Owen-James and William Spencer; sister Helen Bird; sister-in-law Eleanor Sainthill; nephew Chris (Nancy) Sainthill; nieces Mary Duncan, Anne Sainthill, Janet (Michael) Sellwood, and Mary (Grant Ackerman) Bird; and eight great-nieces. He will be greatly missed by good friends Willo and Paul DiNovo, Red and Katherine Hobson, Vaughn and Monica Taylor, and by his beloved Mister Cuddles. Highlights of his varied career included: General Manager Canadian Retail Hardware Association; General Manager Home Show; General Manager Canadian National Exhibition; President Marwill Inc.; Executive Director Ontario Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association; and past President of Cedarhurst Golf Club in Beaverton, ON. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Church, 383 Osborne, Beaverton, Ontario. A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation, or to a Charity of your choice.

McLEAN, Jeanette Mae -
At Fosterbrooke Long Term Care, Newcastle on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in her 73rd year. Jeanette, former wife of much loved Colonel Peter G. McLean. Beloved mother of Sandra Leuty-Smith, JoAnn McHardy and Suzanne Minns, and loved by their father, the late William D. Leuty. Dear sister of Bob Brewster, William Somerville, Catharine Somerville-Wilson and Diane Somerville-O'Byrne. Adored grandmother of Michael and Katherine Smith, Matthew and Heather McHardy, Jennifer and Bradley Minns. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mom's life will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Orono United Church at 2 p.m. Donations to the Children's Wish Foundation in her memory would be gratefully appreciated.
