Loving father of Robert Jacklin and his wife Lynn of Whitby and Beverley Stephenson and her husband Hugh of Manitoba. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Deric Jacklin and his wife Karen, Kirk Jacklin and his wife Ellyssa, Christine Stephenson and Obi Nnadi, Scott Stephenson and his wife Lexine and great-grandchildren Bryce and Nathan Stephenson and Charlotte Jacklin. Dear brother of the late Douglas Jacklin. PENGELLY, A. Bessie (nee Snowden), R.N. -
After having a life rich with love, adventure and travel shared with her family and friends, Bessie has left us to join her parents Hilda and Foster Snowden, brother Joe and sister Ann. She is survived by her best friend and husband W. James Pengelly, their children Jim, Muriel Anne (Richard), Joe (Diane), Peter (Jenny), Mark (Liz) and Bill (Shar). Much loved grandmother of Meaghan, Beth, Jeffrey, Matthew, Kayla, Rachel, Barry, Jamie and Simon. Survived by her brother Bill Snowden (Bev) and sister-in-law Dorothy Snowden. She will be remembered for her superb cooking skills and her ability to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin Village, Whitby from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Then to St. Thomas Anglican Church (Winchester/ St. Thomas Sts.) for funeral service Saturday, November 12th at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Peacefully, with family at his side, on Wednesday, November 9th, 2005 at Versa-Care Centre, Uxbridge, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Quinnell (1988). Loving father of Vera (Kurt Neiman), Jacquie, and Robert (David Keeler). Cherished 'Grampa/Poppa' to Sean, Matthew, Jessica and Trevor. CARNEGIE, Kenton Joel –
Suddenly on Tuesday November 8, 2005 as a result of a tragic incident in Points North, Saskatchewan at the age of 22. Kenton was an honour student in his 3rd year of the Geological Engineering Co-op Program with the University of Waterloo and a graduate of O’Neill Collegiate in Oshawa. Kenton was a man of profound integrity, intelligence, knowledge, dedication and humour and he will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. He was a man of science, a brilliant artist, and a musical aficionado. Kenton had an incredible understanding of the land and an everlasting love of travel and exploration. Cherished son of Kim and Lori (nee Hrehoruk). Loving brother of Calvin (Sarah), and Breanne. Dear grandson of John and Jeannie Hrehoruk and Lillian Carnegie. Dear nephew of Janey and Mike Dubrowsky, Roxanne and Johnny Hrehoruk, Debbie and Gord Reid, Pam and Ray Paquette, Chris and Jamie Emmett. Treasured cousin of Jessica (Pete), Johnathan, Brennan, Rowan, Aidan, Katie, Brett, Sidney (Karen), Danny, Richard, Avery, Jared and James.
