Clifford Hawkes
(March 23, 1933 - October 23, 2008)

HAWKES – Clifford Jerome Ralph (1933 – 2008). Clifford Hawkes, late of Estevan, SK, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Estevan at the age of 75 years. Cliff was predeceased by his wife Rosella in 2007. He is survived by his sister Joyce Hawkes of Edmonton, AB; brother-in-law Mike (Noreen) Madryga of Choiceland, SK; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Madryga of Nipawin, SK and Anne (John) Franc of Prince Albert, SK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A GRAVESIDE MEMORIAL SERVICE for Cliff will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the Estevan City Cemetery, with Mr. Doug Third officiating. Those so wishing may make donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, Estevan, in Cliff’s memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dustin Hall of HALL FUNERAL SERVICES, Estevan (634-8233).

Margaret Chappell
(1937 - 2008)

CHAPPELL – Margaret Chappell passed away on October 19, 2008 at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her loving son Kevin; sister Rose Geisel and brother Bill Kreics. Margaret was born in Bienfait and raised near Frobisher. She lived most of her life in Whitmore Park in Regina and worked for S.G.I. until her early retirement. Margaret had a passion for gardening and was well known for her pink flower beds. A private family memorial service was held in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, on October 30, 2008. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Dustin Hall of HALL FUNERAL SERVICES, Estevan.

Hilda Maria Wilhelm
(June 12, 1920 - October 19, 2008)

WILHELM – Hilda Maria (1920 – 2008). Hilda Wilhelm passed away peacefully at the Lampman Community Health Centre, Lampman, SK, on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Hilda is lovingly remembered by her daughter Marlene (Herman) Ulrich of Lampman; son Don (Joyce) Wilhelm of Lampman; son Ken (Bonnie) Wilhelm of St. Albert, AB; grandchildren, Peggy (Allan) Fleck, Randy (Maureen) Ulrich, Joanne (David) Schaff, Keith (Jackie) Wilhelm, Warren (Corrina) Wilhelm, Darren (Cathy) Wilhelm, Marni (Adam) Pettigrew, Ryan Wilhelm, Marci (Stephen) Yaremcio, Simi (Nimit) Shah and Dean Sommers, as well as 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; sister Kay (Albert) Mack and brother Alvin (Josy) Boers. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1997; son Jack in 1994 and sisters, Hertha, Erna and Ruth. A CELEBRATION OF HILDA’S LIFE will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Faith Lutheran Church, Lampman, with Pastor Daniel Krauss officiating. Interment will follow in Woodley Cromar Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Lampman, in Hilda’s memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dustin Hall of HALL FUNERAL SERVICES, Estevan, SK (634-8233).

Lucille Gertrude Kaake
(December 25, 1938 - October 14, 2008)

KAAKE – On Tuesday, October 14, 2008, Lucille Gertrude Kaake, late of Redvers, SK, passed away in Redvers at the age of 69 years. Lucille was born on December 25, 1938 in the Spring Creek District, Saskatchewan. Lucille was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Mildred as well as her brother Gordon. She is survived by her brother Herbert (Gertrude) Kaake, sister Phyllis (George) Birchall and sister in law Audrey Kaake as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was an active and vibrant part of the Redvers Activity Centre family since 1978. The twinkle in her eye and her impish grin will long be missed and lovingly remembered.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Lucille will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Redvers, with Rev. Michelle Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Redvers Town Cemetery. Those so wishing may make donations to the Redvers Activity Centre, PO Box 418, Redvers, SK, S0C 2H0, in Lucille’s memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Monica Dayman of HALL FUNERAL SERVICES, Redvers (452-6020).

Raymond William Luterbach
(September 5, 1927 - October 12, 2008)

LUTERBACH – On Sunday, October 12, 2008, Raymond William Luterbach, late of Lampman, SK, passed away in Regina, SK at the age of 81 years. Raymond is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna Luterbach; brothers, Charles Luterbach and Frank (Lillian) Luterbach; sisters, Emma (Gordon) McCurdy and Joan Luterbach in infancy; brothers-in-law, John Dubnick and Donald Gingras and daughter-in-law Charlotte Luterbach. He is survived by his family: loving wife of 58 years, Irene Luterbach of Lampman; children, Laverne (Charles) Dietrich of Regina, Victoria (Lyle) Stavness of Regina, Blair (Colleen) Luterbach of Lampman and Penny (Mike) Nijman of Regina; grandchildren, Kent Dietrich, Michael (Robyn) Dietrich, Nicole Stavness, Ian (Sara) Stavness, Alyn Stavness, Savanna Luterbach, Scott, Andrew and Holly MacDonald, Kelsey and Sean Nijman; great grandchildren, Keelan and Graham Dietrich; sister Edith Dubnick; in-laws, Lucy Luterbach, Norman (Minnie) Fleck, Ernest (Anne) Fleck and Gloria Gingras, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. PRAYERS will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. with Sr. Jacqueline Lussier officiating and FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Gerry Bauche. Both services from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish Cemetery. Those so wishing may make donations to the Friends of 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina or a charity of choice in Raymond’s memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dustin Hall of HALL FUNERAL SERVICES, Estevan, SK (634-8233).

Laurette Carrier
(April 8, 1923 - November 9, 2008)

CARRIER – On Sunday, November 9, 2008, Laurette Carrier, late of Carlyle and formerly of Redvers, passed away at the age of 85 years. Laurette was predeceased by her parents Theodule and Marie Landry; her husband Henry Carrier; sisters Germaine Landry and Marianne Wilvers; and brothers Roger and Paul Landry. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved nephew Emile (Lorraine) Wilvers and their family Keith (Leena) and Dan (Jen); her sisters: Marie-Rose Beaulac, Cecile Nissen, Lorraine Stocking, Margaret Boutin and Vivian Hirsch; brothers: Johnny Landry, Marcel Landry and Eugene Landry; and her step-mother Flora Gervais. Prayers will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. and the funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Francis Hengen. Both services will be held in Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Redvers, SK. Interment will follow in the Redvers Town Cemetery. For those so wishing, contributions to the Redvers and District Community Health Foundation Inc. may be made in Laurette’s memory. Albert Janssen
(January 23, 1942 - November 8, 2008)

JANSSEN – On Saturday November 8, Albert Janssen, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 66 years. Albert was predeceased by his parents Frank and Susanna. He is survived by his son Bill (Terri), Regina, SK; brothers Maurice (Genevieve), Benson, SK and Marcel (Donna), Regina Beach, SK; nephews: Daryl, Cordell, Darin and Jeffery; nieces: Jacqueline, Beverley, Teresa and Michelle; 20 great nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends and acquaintances. Prayers will be held on Sunday November 16, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Doug Third as officiant. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday November 17, at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Benson, by Rev. Callistus Ibe. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery, Benson. For those so wishing, contributions to the Saskatchewan Heart and Stroke Foundation, 279 - 3rd Ave N. Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8 or the Pioneer Village Memorial Fund, 430 Pioneer Drive, Regina SK S4R 6L8 may be made in Albert’s memory. Caroline “Chickie” Yakamovich
(June 11, 1923 - November 8, 2008)

YAKAMOVICH - On Saturday, November 8, 2008, Caroline “Chickie” Yakamovich of Estevan, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years. Chickie was the last member of the Klymyk family. She is survived by Peter, her loving husband and partner of 68 years; son Jerry and daughter-in-law Lorna of Victoria, BC; grandchildren: Kim (Michael), Kevin (Tara) and Kyle; and great grandchildren: Deidra, Katelyn and Madison. A private family service and interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Caroline may be made to Sun Country Regional Health Authority or to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank everyone for their kindness and expression of sympathy during the loss of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother “Chickie”. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Monica Dayman and Dustin Hall of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.

Lloyd Peter Dayman
(March 13, 1922 - February 6, 2009)

DAYMAN – Lloyd Peter, late of Fillmore and formerly of Windthorst and Corning, Saskatchewan died after a long and courageous battle with cancer on February 6, 2009. Lloyd was born in the Windthorst area on March 13, 1922 and was raised on the family farm. As a young man Lloyd served his country as a radio operator in the Army. He returned to Saskatchewan to farm and to marry the love of his life, Verna Stephens on July 10, 1950. They resided on a farm near Windthorst until 1956 when they moved to a farm east of Corning until their retirement to Windthorst in 1987. When Verna was in long term care, Lloyd rarely missed visiting her even when his health wasn’t good. When Lloyd wasn't in his shop enjoying the carpentry that he loved, he was fishing or going on one of his many vacations. Playing cards was a favorite pass time for him. He enjoyed a good laugh and was always eager to be in on a good joke. He was devoted to his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. In recent years he had a lot of enjoyment with his bird "Sport". Lloyd will be sadly missed by his children: Brenda Dayman, Brian (Faith) Dayman, Donna (Jim) Johnston, Linda (Dave) Englot, Ron (Monica) Dayman and Joan (Ralph) Allan; sisters: Laura Silversides, Freda (Lloyd) Longman and Ruth Longman; brothers: Russel (Merle), Gordon (Christine) and Arnold; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and all of his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents Peter and Ella; brother George; brothers-in-law Clarence Silversides and Gordon (Browne) Longman. Lloyds' loving wife Verna died in September of 2007.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Corning Community Hall with Rev. Janet Sigurdson officiating. Interment will follow in the Graytown Cemetery, Corning, Sk. Following the Service and interment, friends and family are invited to gather for a luncheon in the Windthorst Rec. Centre beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. If friends so desire contributions to the Fillmore Union Health Centre (Residents Fund), Box 246, Fillmore, Sk. S0G 1N0 may be made in Lloyd's memory. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.hallfuneralservices.ca Arrangements entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, Saskatchewan.
