Anton (Tony) Keen
(April 26, 1912 - April 17, 2009)

On Friday, April 17, 2009, Anton (Tony) Keen, late of Lampman, SK, passed away in Estevan, SK at the age of 96 years.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Mary; first wife Stephania (Bauman); son Ernest; grandson Allan; brothers, Frank (Wilhelmina) and Ted (Mildred); sisters, Annie (Ralph) Picket, Amelia (Herb) Picket, Irene (George) Tinant and Katie (Steve) Mossinbier and step-son Otto Hanrieder.

He is survived by his loving family: wife of 31 years, Helen of Lampman, SK; children, Lorraine (Wayne) Whitley of Grande Prairie, AB, Darlene (Willie) Holst of Medicine Hat, AB and Marilyn (J. D.) Hart of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Bonnie (James) Christie, Rodney Stevens, Karen Kuntz, Kevin (Patricia) Holst, Kelly Holst (Alexandra), Candace (Jay) Krause and Holly Hart; brother Henry (Pat) Keen; step-children, Hal (Isla) Hanrieder of Red Deer, AB, Hedy (Charles) Breckenridge of Reidsville, NC, U.S.A., Eric (Debbie) Hanrieder of Lampman and Mark (Sandy) Hanrieder of Lampman; step-daughter-in-law, Carol Hanrieder of Regina, SK; step-grandchildren, Paul (Aiko) Hanrieder, Meleny (Gabe) Napora, Robert (Robin) Hanrieder, Holly (Ben) Spooner, Lee (Melissa) Hanrieder, Naiomi (David) Dudek, Michelle Breckenridge, Michael (Raina) Breckenridge, Kristin Hanrieder, Jordan Hanrieder, Ryan Hanrieder, Lisa Hanrieder and Reagan Hanrieder, as well as numerous great grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Prayers were held on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.
Both services were held in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman.
Interment took place in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Regina.
Those so wishing may make donations to the Lampman Community Health Centre in Tony’s memory.
The family was assisted by Hall Funeral Services, Estevan (634-8233).

Leona Schnell
(September 24, 1943 - April 12, 2009)

On Sunday, April 12, 2009 Leona Schnell passed away in Medicine Hat, AB at 65 years of age. Leona will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim and her children: Darren Schnell (Shannon Garlinski), Deirdre Schnell (George Bajnoczi), Karen (David) Kolybaba, Sharilee Schnell (Brad Pierce) and Jodie (Derek) Lee; grandchildren: Stephanie, Daniel, Jennifer, Brendan, Bryan, Brent, Jennifer, Brittany, Daniel, Darian, Janie, Jessica and Maysen; brothers: Richard (Jeannette) Fichter, Mathew (Betty) Fichter and David (Alyse) Fichter; sister Carol (Ron) Pho; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Leona was predeceased by her parents Adam and Helen Fichter.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, SK.
Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens.
If friends so desire, contributions may be made in Leona’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The family was assisted by Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, SK.

Lorne Douglas Boles
(Born Feb. 13, 1935 - March 28, 2009)
age 74 years, late of Estevan, Saskatchewan

Lorne is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Angie; children: Cheryl (Wayne) Ross, John Boles, Douglas Boles and Stacey (Rick) Purves; grandchildren: Rebecca (Greg), Alanna (Ron), Warren (Patty), Shane (Nicole), Jacob, Desiree, Schuyler and Kaleb; great grandson Karter; brother Harvey Boles.
Lorne was predeceased by his parents, aunts, uncles, one niece and his brothers Howard and Ronald.
Public visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, Saskatchewan.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul’s United Church, Estevan, Saskatchewan.
Those so wishing may make donations to SMILE Services Inc. 1201 2nd Street, Estevan, Saskatchewan S4A 0M1 in Lorne’s memory.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a luncheon at the Estevan Exhibition Hall following the interment.

The family is being assisted by Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, Saskatchewan.

Laura Jeanne Depape
(Apr. 29, 1912 - April 23, 2009)

Laura Depape passed away in Newhope Pioneer Lodge in Stoughton, SK on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the age of 96 years.
Laura was predeceased by her parents, Remy and Maria Vandermeulen; husband Nick; son Kenneth; son-in-law Leo Picard; three grandchildren, Valerie and Gregory Boey and Yvonne Picard; three brothers, Alphonse, Emile and Hector; two sisters, Marie Thieven and Alice DeBruyne.
She will be sadly missed by her son Albert, daughters, Alice Picard and Delores (Rene) Boey; daughter-in-law Faye Warthe; grandchildren, Donald Picard (Laurie), Jeanne (Randy) Coderre, Michael (Arlene) Picard, Judy (Kim) Halvorson, Cheryl (Phil) Genevitz, Craig (Cheryl) Boey, Darwin (Betty) Depape and Carla (Nolan) Olson.
She also leaves 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
PRAYERS will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. and FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
Both services will be held in Our Lady of La Salette R.C. Church, Forget, SK.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind in Laura’s memory.

Melvin Jonas Veroba
(Jul. 3, 1955 - April 22, 2009)

Melvin Veroba, late of Lampman, Saskatchewan, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the age of 53 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Val Veroba of Lampman; children: Jody (Chad) Himmelspeck of Carlyle, Cory Veroba (Traci Geremia) of Weyburn; grandchildren: Colby and Rylee Himmelspeck; brothers: Albert (Marjorie) Veroba of Saskatoon, Gerald Veroba of Lampman, Theodore Veroba of Winnipeg, Dennis (Janet) Veroba of Lampman and Brian (Donna) Veroba of Calgary; mother-in-law Loretta Fleck; in-laws: Kelly (Jan) Fleck of Estevan, Dallas (Darcy) Fleck of Lampman and Sherry (Hal) Moffat of White Bear Lake; as well as numerous niece and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Katherine Veroba and father-in-law Lawrence Fleck.
PRAYERS will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman, Saskatchewan.
FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows R.C. Church, Lampman, Saskatchewan by Rev. Peter Nijssen and Rev. Bob Mitchell.
Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Cemetery, Lampman, Saskatchewan.
If friends so desire contributions may be made to the Lampman Community Health Centre, Lampman, Saskatchewan in Melvin’s memory.
The family is being assisted by Hall Funeral Services, Estevan (634-8233).

Graham Walford Barlow
1924 – 2009

Graham passed away in Estevan, SK on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the age of 84 years.

Graham was predeceased by his parents, William and Amanda Barlow; brother Telford Barlow; sisters, Frances (Alfred) Ollenberger, Margaret (Charlie) Mielitz and Marion (Avory) Eagles.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews; his sister in-law Madeline Barlow and by his best friend, his dog Toby.

A memorial service for Graham will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Rev. Pat Wotton officiating.

Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan.

If friends so desire, it was Graham’s wish that memorial donations be made to the Parkinson Society Canada, 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 3K1

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
