LUCILLE NOBILE
(December 17, 1938 - October 11, 2011)
Lucille Nobile, 72, of Oak Ridge, NJ, formerly of Teaneck, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 with her family by her side.
She was born in New York City to Grace (Rampello) Bonasera and Frank Bonasera.
Mrs. Nobile will best be remembered for her biggest heart, beautiful eyes, warm smile, and endless kisses.
Mrs. Nobile was predeceased by her brothers: Peter Lombardo, Salvatore Lombardo, and Louis Bonasera, and her sisters: Mary Buompane, Connie Bochicchio, Louise Capriola, and Rita Segreto.
Mrs. Nobile is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Robert Nobile, her beloved son Robert Nobile and his wife Sandy of Oak Ridge, her cherished grandchildren: Danielle and Dakota Nobile, both of Oak Ridge; her dear sister Eleanor Mangi as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011at 9:30 am at the funeral home.
Interment will immediately follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.

PATRICK KEVIN GRADY
(August 28, 1944 - October 3, 2011)
Age 67
Patrick Kevin Grady, age 67, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 in Dover, NJ. He grew up in Dumont, NJ. and has resided in Jefferson Township, NJ for the past 37 years.
Patrick proudly served in the U.S. Army's 221st Reconnaissance Aviation Company during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Teaneck Fire Department for 33 years and retired with the rank of lieutenant. He also worked for Arrow Tree Service of Old Tappan, NJ for over 30 years.
After retiring, Patrick worked for the Jefferson Township Recreation Department. His interests included hunting, arboriculture, golf, and the Jets. Pat was a proud member of the VFW and Past Commander of the American Legion Post 423.
Pat was a parishioner of St John Vianney RC Church in Stockholm NJ
Patrick was pre-deceased by his parents John and Johanna (Josie) Grady (Sullivan) of Dumont NJ, his sister Anne and brother in law Jay Werner, and his brother Michael.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years Eileen Grady (Doyle), his daughter Siobhan Ferrazzano and her husband Michael of Hopatcong, NJ, his son Sean of Anchorage, AK; and his daughter Norah of Jefferson Township, NJ. and his three adored grandsons: Gavin Anthony, Killian Padraig and Declan John Ferrazzano. He also leaves behind his brother James and his wife Ann Marie; his brother Thomas; his sister-in law Barbara; his Doyle brothers and sisters-in-law; and many beloved nieces and nephews and their children.
Relatives and friends of Patrick and his family are invited on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ. 07435.
Patrick's funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10 am at St. John Vianney Church in Stockholm followed by a luncheon at the American Legion Post 423 Milton Road, Jefferson.
Interment to be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Patrick's behalf to the
Morristown Memorial Hospital NICU in honor of his grandsons Killian and Declan @ Sam's Fund, attn: Doris Salzberg,601 Jefferson Road, Suite #208, Parsippany, NJ 07054.

EDWARD FRANCIS VALEICH
(May 19, 1924 - September 26, 2011)
Edward F. Valeich, 87, of Newfoundland, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011.
He was born in Jersey City to Jakica (Gobin) Valcich and Jacob Valcich.
Mr. Valeich proudly served as a pilot in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Croatan and flew with the Squadron VC-95. He also received a commendation for disabling a U-Boat off of the Bay of Biscay.
Mr. Valeich was a State Trooper with the NJ State Police and was stationed at the Newfoundland Barracks in 1955. He retired in 1976 as a Lieutenant after completing 26 years of service. Until recently, he remained active through the former NJ State Trooper Association.
Mr. Valeich was a past member of the Community Fire Company No. 1, Newfoundland.
Mr. Valeich is predeceased by his son Paul in 1998 and his brother Jacob Valcich.
He is survived by his beloved wife Marie (Gumaer) Valeich; his dear children: Edward M. Valeich of Stillwater and Laurie Cooper of Wantage; his sister Florence Gimmelli of Midland Park and his brother Daniel Valcich of Florida.
Mr. Valeich also leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 4pm to 8 pm at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.

CHRISTINE KING
(November 25, 1963 - October 14, 2011)
Christine King, 47, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011.
She was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Patricia (Kaplan) Capone and Richard Capone.
Christine served as the past president of the PTA in the Jefferson Township School System and was also the treasurer of the Jefferson Township Volley Ball Team.
Christine was a “people person” who loved to talk to anyone, anywhere! She was very active in her sons’ school activities.
Christine enjoyed life and loved to entertain and worked hard to please everyone. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth King; her beloved sons: Anthony Joseph and Alexander King; her adored parents Patricia and Richard Capone of Morristown, NJ; her dear sister Robin Onufer and her husband Geoffrey of Green Brook, NJ; her mother-in-law Barbara King of Red Bank, NJ; her in-law’s Kenneth and Lillian King Sr. and her brother-in-law Michael King, all of St. Petersburg, FL; her loving nephews Jack and Kyle Onufer and grandmother Dorothy Capone.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 2 pm to 6 pm with a 5:30 pm prayer service at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: Jefferson Township Volleyball Team or to the Jefferson Township Hockey League, both at 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438.

Blaine J. Carruthers
Mr. Blaine J. Carruthers, of Mount St,. Joseph Nursing Home, and formerly of Ferry Road, Miramichi, passed away at his residence, on Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at the age of 86.
Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Wesley and Hazel (Currie) Carruthers. He was a former employee of both the Anderson Lumber Company as well as the Dept. of Transportation, Miramichi; a member of Bethel United Church; a former Elder of that church. Music was his passion.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline Ross (Thomas), of Ferry Road, and Mrs. Karen Negus (Gerald), of Saint John; three sons, Frank Carruthers (Francis), Blaine Carruthers Jr. (Aldora), and Allen Carruthers (Maureen), all of Miramichi; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Clark (George), of Millbank, and Mrs. Pearl Valgardson, of Edmonton, Alta.; one brother, Ervin Carruthers, of Miramichi: thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Olive Oldfield, in 1986, one sister, Mrs. Catherine Giggie and one brother, Walter Carruthers.
Remains are resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., with visiting on Wednesday evening, from 7-9 pm and Thursday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, May 11, 2001, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Gay Smith. Interment will be in Moorefield Cemetery.

Mr. J. Colin Davidson
1922 - 2001
Miramichi - Mr. James Colin Davidson passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, with grace and dignity, surrounded by his family, by whom he was so dearly loved, on Monday, March 26, 2001, at the age of 78 years.
Born in Restigouche County, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Lavialette) Davidson. In 1940, at the age of 18, Colin joined the R.C.A.F., in Moncton and received his pilot's wings, in Yorkton, Sask., the following year. In November 1941 he arrived in England and after operational training on Hurricanes and Lysanders. He joined 414 RCAF, a newly formed "Fighter Recce" Squadron in March 1942, equipped with Tomahawks at that time. He later converted to mustangs before action in Dieppe, in August 1942. He completed his tour in March 1944 and was posted to 83 Group Support Unit as Recce Instructor.
In 1945 he was posted to England once again and after converting to Spitfires, rejoined 414 Squadron at Eindhoven, Holland, in 1945. In early April, while flying from Petit Brogel, Belgium, he crashed on take off and spent the remainder of the War in hospital.
Following his discharge as Flight Lieut., in October 1945, he attended the University of New Brunswick, graduating as a forester, in 1949. He was employed with Fraser Inc., a forestry based company spanning a 33 year time frame, retiring in 1982, at the age of 60, as Woodlands Manager at the Plaster Rock location.He is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Sally Stephenson; daughters Elizabeth Wallace (Steven) and Margaret Davidson, all of Miramichi; daughter in law, Lorraine Davidson, of Miramichi; one brother, J. Quinton Davidson (Jackie), of Ottawa, Ont.; sisters, Mrs. Helen Tracey, of Saint John and Mrs. Barbara Wheeler (Richard), of Perth Andover; four very special grandchildren, Christopher, Kimberly and Stephen Davidson and Katie Wallace; as well as several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by one son, J. Clarke Davidson; one brother, William Davidson; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Sharkey.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Wednesday, only, from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Holy Trinity Congretational Church, on Thursday, March 29, 2001, at 1 pm, conducted by Pastor Willard Watling. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, later in the spring.
Please note, members of Branch #3, Royal Canadian Legion, are asked to assemble at Adams Funeral Home, on Wednesday evening, at 7:30, for a Veteran's Service.

Mr. Lawrence A. Horton
1922 - 2001
Miramichi - Mr. Lawrence Aldred Horton, of Black River Bridge, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday evening, May 20, 2001, at the age of 78.
Born in Spanish ship Bay, Guysborough County, N.S., he was the son of the late William W. and Elizabeth E. (Baker) Horton. He was a mechanic by occupation and prior to retirement, was a self employed service station operator, as well as a former fisherman. He was an adherent of the United Church and a Veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was a member of Branch # 3, Royal Canadian Legion, Miramichi.
He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Maresh, of Black River Bridge; one son, Daryl Horton, of Black River Bridge; four grandchildren, Melanie, Christina, Charlene, and Jenny; one great grandson, Carter; two brothers, Merel Horton, of Tantallion, N.S. and Lockie Horton, of Spanish Ship Bay, N.S. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Verne MacDougall; one sister, Mrs. Della Nauffts; one brother, Leslie Horton.
Remains are resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., with visiting on Wednesday, only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Stephens United Church, Black River Bridge, on Thursday, May 24, 2001, at 1 pm, conducted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the Black River Community Cemetery.
Please note, members of Branch # 3, Royal Canadian Legion, are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, at 7:30, for a Veterans' Service.

Mrs. Albertine M. Gerrish
1906-2001
Miramichi - Mrs. Albertine (Bertha) Mary Gerrish, widow of the late Caleb M. Gerrish, of Gerrish Lane, Quarryville, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, April 24, 2001, at the age of 94.
Born in Paquetville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vitaline (Cormier) Landry. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Marks United Church, Quarryville, as well as a member of the U.C.W. of that church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Jardine, of Quarryville, Mrs. Edith McKnight (Melvin), of Massey, Ont., and Mrs. Stella Stewart (James), of Georgetown, Ont.; one step daughter, Mrs. Esther Underwood, of Douglastown; four sons, Herbert (Marie), of Clarkson, Ont., Lindsay (Lois), of Miramichi, Lawrence (Nancy), of Quarryville, and Glen (Anna), of Quarryville; eighteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; as well as one great great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She was pre deceased by her husband, Caleb, in 1958; one son, Joseph; one step son, Frank; three step daughters, Mildred, Janet and Elsie; two sisters, Estelle and Fernie; three brothers, Thomas, Arthur and Nazier.
Remains are resting at her residence, 8 Gerrish Lane, Quarryville, with visitation Wednesday, only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Marks United Church, on Thursday, April 26, 2001, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Jennifer Balls. Interment will be in St. Marks United Church Cemetery.

Miss M. Elinor Leslie
1930-2001
Miramichi - Miss M. Elinor Leslie, of Bramalea Avenue, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Monday, August 13, 2001, at the age of 71.
Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Russell) Leslie. She was a retired employee of the Bank of Montreal and an adherent of St. Andrews United Church, Miramichi.
She is survived by one sister in law, Mrs. Katherine Leslie, of Hamilton, Ont.; as well as several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Alma Leslie, on July 22, 2001,and Margaret Spurr; one brother, James Leslie.
Remains are resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., with visiting on Thursday, only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, August 17, 2001, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Ron Feltmate. Interment will be in the family lot of Miramichi Cemetery.
