Mr. Robert W. Loggie
1920 - 2001
Miramichi - Mr. Robert William Loggie, of the North Napan Road, Napan, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, on Saturday evening, August 11, 2001, at the age of 81.
Born in Center Napan, he was the son of the late William and Lena (Edmunds) Loggie. He was a carpenter by trade, as well as a farmer and fisherman. He attended the Wellington Street United Baptist Church, Miramichi.
He is survived by three sisters, Catherine Loggie, of Napan, Jean Loggie, of Moncton, and Mrs. Margaret Costar, of Ottawa; two brothers, his twin brother, Warren, and George Loggie, both of Napan; two nieces, Jean Steeves and Janet Costar; three nephews, Paul and Ronnie Steeves and David Costar. He was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Helen Steeves.
Remains are resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd. 140 Kings St., with visiting on Sunday evening, from 7 to 9 pm and Monday, from 2 to 4 pm, only. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday evening, at 7 pm, conducted by Rev. Cecil Symes, assisted by Rev. David Cleveland. Interment will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Miramichi.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donor's choosing, would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd. 140 King St., Miramichi, telephone 773-3492.

Mr. Rene J. Martin
1948-2002
Mr. Rene Joseph Martin, husband of Donna Martin, of Chamberlain St., Bathurst, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, in Bathurst, on Sunday, September 8, 2002, at the age of 54.
Born in Baie St. Anne, he was the son of the late Allison and Margaret (Robichaud) Martin. He was a Correctional Officer for 30 years, employed with the Dept. of Safety, and was Superintendent of the Bathurst Detention Center.
He is survived by his wife, the former Donna Kingston; one daughter, Kimberly; one son, Trevor, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Percilla Doucet (Leonard), of Shediac, and Mrs. Aurelda LeBlanc (Amie), of Petitcodiac; seven brothers, Aurel, of Hamilton, Ont., Walter (Peggy), of Elliot Lake, Ont., Archie (Pierette), of Montreal, P.Q., Fernande (Flora), of Bay du Vin, Paul (Carole), of Fredericton, Allison Jr. (Adrienne), of Miramichi, Norbert (Leola), of Baie St. Anne. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Gerald and Donald.
By request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A public funeral service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin, on Wednesday, September 11, 2002, at 1pm, conducted by Rev. Don Hamilton.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, telephone 773-3492.

Jacob Thomas MacDonald
Jacob Thomas MacDonald, three day old son of Thomas and Shirley (Gilliland) MacDonald, of Tanar St., Miramichi, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital, on Saturday, January 19, 2002.
He is survived by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Douglas and Bernice Gilliland; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Jessie MacDonald; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
By request, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, January 22, 2002, conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be in the spring.
Tom and Shirley would like to give special thanks to the Doctors and Nursing Staff of both the Maternity Ward of the Miramichi Regional Hospital and the Special Care Nursing Unit of the Moncton City Hospital; Father John Fraser, Father Savoie and Father Soucy; Giselle Saulnier; to their parents, their families and friends for all the support throughout this most difficult time. May God bless you all.

Ella "Marlene" Richardson
1948-2012
Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB on May 22, 2012, Ms. Ella “Marlene” Richardson of St. Andrews NB. Born at Saint John NB on April 18, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Amy (Justason) Haggerty. A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by one daughter Melanie MacLellan of Seeleys Cove NB, one son, Bruce Haggerty of Mink Brook NB, special granddaughter, Ashley Lefebvre of Seeleys Cove NB, two brothers; Joe (Joan) Haggerty of Saint John NB and Edward (Marie) Haggerty of Fredericton NB and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prior to illness, Marlene worked as a school bus driver in the local community. In her quiet time, she enjoyed being with her granddaughter Ashley. She was a loyal member of the Red Hatters Society and will be missed by her family and friends.
As keeping with Marlene’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB on Friday at 2 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn officiating followed by the interment at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. In Marlene’s memory, donations to Lupus Canada or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Mrs. Helen M. Ringer
1907-2001
Miramichi - Mrs. Helen Mae Ringer, of Douglas Court (Douglastown) Miramichi, and formerly of Allston, Massachusetts, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, May 2, 2001, at the age of 94.
Born in Napan, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Sarah A. (Perks) Searle. She was a homemaker; a member of St. Andrews Anglican Church, Miramichi; a member of Prince Andrews Chapter, #42, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Warren Ringer and his wife, Helen, of Cape Cod, Mass., USA; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert W. Ringer, in 1975; one sister, Mrs. Sophie Bell; three brothers, George, Michael and Perks Searle.
Remains are resting at Adams funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., with visiting on Thursday, only, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, May 4, 2001, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Alan Reynolds. Interment will be in Needham, Mass., USA, at a later date.
Members of Prince Andrews Chapter, #42, Order of the Eastern Star, are asked to assemble at the funeral home, on Thursday evening, at 6:45, for a Star Service.

Donald Eugene Burns
1929-2001
Donald Eugene Burns , 71, of Dawson Settlement, NB, passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on March 16, 2001.
Born on Dec. 3, 1929 in Alma, NB, he was the son of the late John Burns and Viola (Fillmore). He was a retired woodsman and belonged to the Jehovah Witness.
He is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Muir of Ontario; 1 sister, Arlene St. Pierre of Riverview ; 2 grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews.Besides his parents Donald was predeceased by 3 brothers, Carl, Kenneth and John.
At Donald's own request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, NB, 734-2780

R. Clarence Colwell
1911-2001
R. Clarence Colwell, 90, of Riverside- Albert, NB, passed away on March 16, 2001 at the Albert County Hospital.
Born on March 12, 1911, in Riverside, Albert Co. NB, he was the son of the late Simon and Julia (Collier) Colwell. He was retired . Clarence had worked as Custodian at the Riverside Consolidated School for approximately 20 years. He was also a member of the Albert United Baptist Church.
He was a beloved Husband and Father and will be deeply missed by his loving wife Linda (Russell) Colwell of Riverside-Albert and his son Russell Colwell of Halifax, He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased besides his parents by 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
The remains will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, March 18, 2001 at 2:00pm with Rev. Ralph Richardson officiating. Internment will be held in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill in the spring.
Donations to the Albert United Baptist Church or to the Bennett and Albert County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Ronald Victor Morningstar
1926-2001
Ronald Victor Morningstar , 74, of Hopewell Hill, NB passed away suddenly at the Albert County Hospital on May 1, 2001.
He was born on April 14, 1926 in Grimsbery, Ontario. He was the son of the late Milburn and Beatrice (Johnston) Morningstar. Until he retired Ron was a painter and was also a licensed cabinet maker. He belonged to the Riverside Modelers Association and also was a Jehovah Witness.
He was a beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be sadly missed by; his wife, Myrtle Morningstar of Hopewell Hill; 2 sons, Richard (Kathy) of Riverview, Allan (Elaine) of New Horton; 2 daughters, Rose Mitrega (Kuno) of Riverview, Irene Schumann of Moncton; 9 Grandchildren, Shane, Kelli-Dawn, Stefan, Leah, Hannah Lore, Jeremy, Kristen, Daniel , David; 5 Great grandchildren, Lauryn, Chloe, Brandon, Devin, Kyle .Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Norma Cowell.
There will be no visitation at Ronald's own request. A memorial Service in Ronald's memory will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape on Friday, May 4 ,2001 at 2:00pm with Mr. Jim Horsman. Internment will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.

Gerard Ouellet
May 3, 1927 - April 22, 2001
RIVERVIEW - Gerard Ouellet, 73, of Riverview, formerly of Riverside-Albert passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on April 22, 2001.
Born on May 3, 1927 in Rosaireville,NB he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary(Blanchard) Ouellet. He worked at Fundy National Park as a painter until his retirement.
He is survived by his 4 daughters, Paula Dixon (Eldon) of Riverside-Albert, Theresa Lynn Robichaud (Robert) of Oshawa, Ont., Cheryl Hartling (Charles) of Oshawa, Ont., and Patricia McFarlane (Moses) of Petitcodiac; 1 sister, Rita Bourque of Rogersville; a half sister; a half brother; 10 grandchildren, Paul, Jennifer, Dianne, Dawn, Leigh, Joe, Alexander, Katie, Heidi and Ashley; 4 great grandchildren, Kess, Madison, Olivia, and Anna Marie. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Theresa Marie Ouellet in 1997 ; an infant daughter, Mary; and a half brother.
A private Family Memorial Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home.
Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
