Lawrence James Stewart
1949-2012
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, Larry lost his 10 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Carrol (Paul), his two daughters, Sonia (Jason) Vance, Candy Sue (Sonny) MacDonald, five grandchildren, TJ Matser (Jen Gallagher), Brad Matser, Marissa Kinney, Ryley MacDonald & Kaden MacDonald, his parents Claudia Stewart, Lawrence (Freda) Stewart, his siblings Marilyn Young, Michael (Denise) Stewart, Barb (Len) Richard, Sue (Ernie) Richard, two special daughters Tanya (Russell) Bowmaster, Sue Armstrong (Ryan Rice), Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends. He is predeceased by his sister Joan Leavitt and youngest brother Danny Stewart.
Before he started his journey with cancer, Larry worked as a maintenance mechanic for Connors Brothers. His first passion was his love for his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, fisherman & woodsman. He loved to visit the old Stewart homestead at Elmscroft where he learned his hunting skills from his grandfather Herman. Larry always enjoyed cooking especially his infamous chilli and homemade bread. Larry will be remembered and best known for his witty sense of humour, his gift for nagging but mostly for his strength, his gentleness and his kindness. He will be sadly missed by his family. Larry was a longtime member of the St. George Masonic Lodge # 12 F&AM.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Christ Church (Anglican), Pennfield with Rev. Keith Osborne officiating followed by interment at the parish cemetery with a time of fellowship and refreshments to follow at the church hall. A Masonic Tribute service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 6:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

Darrell Clifford Geldart
1965-2008
Darrell Clifford Geldart Darrell Clifford Geldart,43, of Hillsborough passed away on November 18, 2008 after an accident in the work place.
Darrell was born in Riverside-Albert, Albert County on June 25, 1965 the son of Clifford Geldart and the late Elsie (Hayward) Geldart. Darrell worked as a mechanic at Centennial Poniac Buick GMC Ltd. in Saint John.
Darrell was known for his easy going manner and for his great sense of humour. He was an avid computer technician, always helping his family and friends with their computers. He had a special place in his heart for animals and took great pride in getting his pets from the Saint John Animal Rescue League. He was a truly special person who will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
He will be deeply missed by his partner, Brian Richard of Saint John; his father Clifford and his stepmother Reta of Hillsborough; brothers, Brent (Eleanor) of Moncton, Derek (Annette) of Salisbury and Jeremy (Victoria) of Prosser Brook; sister, Julie Hovey (Richard) of Saskatchewan; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins. He will also be missed by all of his extended family-The Richard family and the O'Connor family and by all his co-workers.
Besides his mother he was predeceased by a sister-in-law Sherry.
Due to weather conditions the funeral for the late Darrell Clifford Geldart will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00pm. At the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape.

Charles James MacLean
1924-2009
Charles James MacLean Charlie MacLean ,84, just a few days short of his 85th Birthday, of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2009 after a courageous seven month battle with cancer at the Moncton Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Charlie was born in Riverside-Albert on May 19th, 1924 the son of the late Duncan Joseph and Mary Teresa (Fraser) MacLean. He was a lifetime beef farmer and also worked at carpentry, forestry and generally working the land. He loved farming and that was his passion, having had several cattle right up until he took sick, that is what kept Charlie so young, working on his farm and tending his gardens. If anyone asked him if he had travelled far, he would always answer that he had moved from one side of the hill to the other when he was seven.
He was an active member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Riverside-Albert, He was the man that if you needed anything you could count on Charlie to be there. He was caretaker of the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery where he dug graves and mowed the lawns for over 20 years, he was very dedicated to making sure the cemetery was kept up and took great pride in the maintenance of the grounds. He was a very community minded person having served on the Board of Directors of the Albert County Exhibition, the Harvey Grassland Community Pasture and the Shepody Soil & Crop Assn. He was a member of the Albert County Liberal Association and went to the many suppers and events they put on. He was a very special man who will be remembered for his kindness and for his eagerness to help others in need, you could not find a better person than Charlie. He not only was a great friend and neighbor to all but he was a beloved husband, father and brother who loved his family very much, he was very proud of his three children and would bring them up in every conversation. He will live on in the hearts of his family, friends and the community forever.

He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Jean (Morrissey), daughter Catherine of Riverview, sons Douglas of Riverview and Jeffrey of Salisbury,one sister Teresa Wilbur (Trueman) of Riverview, one brother, Angus (Aileen) of Fredericton, sisters-in-law Mary MacLean of Ottawa, ON and Beulah Morrissey of Riverside-Albert and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by four brothers, Donald (Bertha Teahan), Allister, Duncan, infant brother Angus, infant sister Daisy and brother-in-law Fred Morrissey.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday, May 17th, 2-4 and 7-9pm. There will be Parish Prayers and a time to share stories of Charlie on Sunday evening at 8:30pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Riverside-Albert on Monday, May 18th, 2009 at 10:00am with Father Phil Mulligan officiating. Interment will be held in the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Hill. Following the Funeral Mass and Burial the family will be meeting with relatives and friends for further sharing of memories and for refreshments at the Riverside-Albert Recreation Center.
In lieu of flowers for those who wish donations to the Holy Ghost Catholic Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Due to allergies please refrain from wearing perfumes or scents.

Lillien "Van" May (Fanjoy) Mills
1924-2009
Lillien "Van" May (Fanjoy) Mills Lillien "Van" Mills, passed away on 21 May 2009 at the age of 84.
Born in Bagdad, Queens Co., NB on 31 May 1924 she was the daughter of the late Hazel (London)and Harry Fanjoy, both of whom passed away in 1944. She was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Mills in 1997. She is survived by son Fred "Skip" (Lynda) Mills of Sackville, NB; daughter Bluette (Alan) Higgins of Elgin, NB; grandsons Randy Mills of Fredericton and Bruce Mills of Sackville, NB; sisters Eleatta Harris of Rothesay, NB and Ruby Justason of Fredericton, NB; brother, Ron Fanjoy of Mill Cove, NB; a special sister-in-law June Fanjoy and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Van led a full life, serving as a WREN during WWII, working as a seamstress, and raising a family. She was an avid gardener, and was a member of the Monctonian African Violet Society for many years; there is an African violet named for her. Van was beloved by friends and family alike and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape, NB on Monday, 25 May from 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, 26 May at 3:00pm. Interment will be in the Wesleyan Union Cemetery at a later date.
In Van's name, donations made to the NB Lung Association or to a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by her family.

Agnes Elizabeth Kelly
1907-2009
Alma, N.B.- Agnes (Aggie) Kelly passed away at the Forest Dale Home on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the age of 101.
She was born in Point Wolfe which is now part of Fundy National Park on September 13, 1907, the daughter of the late Thomas Pringle and Annie Margaret (McManus) Kelly. Aggie was a hairdresser working out of her home until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Stephen's United Church.
Friends and relatives were always made to feel welcome in her home and she was blessed with many visits especially from her many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Elsie , Mabel, Murtle, Vel, Georgie, Beulah and Glennie; brothers, Aubrey, Jack, Tom, Jim, Jud and Vincent. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A Memorial Service will be held at the St. Stephen's United Church, Alma on Saturday, June 13th, 2009 at 2:00pm with Rev. Alex Mosher officiating. Interment will be held in the Alma United Cemetery.
Remembrances made to the St. Stephen's United Church or to the Alma United Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.

Bernard M. Nelson
1927-2009
Bernard M. Nelson, 81, of Sussex passed away peacefully on June 3, 2009 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home having been surrounded by his loving family throughout the day.
He was born in Lower Cape, Albert County on July 13, 1927, the son of the late George W. and Charlotte "Lottie" (Russell) Nelson. Bernard worked most of his life in the family business as a monument engraver. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, he also enjoyed camping. He was very proud of his family and especially enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, he just loved it when the kids were around. He will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of his family forever.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Yolanda Kohnert (Walt) of California, Mike Nelson (Ruth) of Sussex, Carl Nelson (Dawn) of Moncton, Mark Nelson (Lisa) of Ontario, Shelly Toudjian (Takvor) of Moncton and Gail Lyons (Gary) of Salisbury; his treasured grandchildren, Steve, Angie, Andrew, Brent, Colleen, Stephanie, Lesley, Kyane and Meryl and by his precious great grandchildren; sisters, Marion Garvin of Riverview and Margaret Drury (Wilf) of Sussex; brother, Carl Nelson of Riverview; sisters-in-law, Ferne Nelson of Sussex, Irma Nelson of Windsor, NS, and Dorothy Nelson of Florida. He will also be missed by the mother of his children, Evelyn (Steeves) formerly of Edgett's Landing now residing in Riverview and by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a grandson, Andrew; sisters, Eleanor Hendy (Foster), Catherine Preston (Jim); brothers, Russell, Maurice, James R., Harry (Joyce); sister-in-law, Kay Nelson and brother-in-law Ed Garvin.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 2:00pm with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, N.B.
For those who wish, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Ada G. Wright
1917-2009
Ada G. Wright, 92, widow of Harold Wright formerly of Stoney Creek, NB, passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2009 at the York Central Hospital, Richmond Hill, Ontario.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Ada's life will take place at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church, Stoney Creek, NB later this summer. Interment will be held in the Wilmot Cemetery, Lower Coverdale, NB.
Details and arrangements will be announced at a later date.
