Léo Robichaud, 83 of St. Louis de Kent passed away at La Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Sunday, October 19th, 2008. Born in Pointe-Sapin, Léo was the husband of Myrrhina (Daigle) Robichaud and the son of late Lazare and Marguerite (Daigle) Robichaud. Léo served with the Canadian Army during WW II.
Survived by his 3 daughters; Christiane Vautour (Arnold), Marie-Thérese Robichaud (Albert) and Michelle Robichaud all of St. Louis de Kent, 3 sons; Serge (Nora) of St. Louis de Kent, Jacques (Barbara) of Newfoundland and Jean-Claude of Moncton, 9 sisters; Rita Lapadula (late Dan) of Moncton, Laudia Savoie (late Yvon) of Pointe-Sapin, Albertine LeBlanc (late Léonard) of Moncton, Lauzia Vautour (late Emery) of Moncton, Vianna Gallant (late Alcide) of Moncton, Germaine Gallant (Hector) of Grand Falls, Norma Taylor (Bill of Moncton), Thérèse Graham (Jack) of Richibucto and Juliana King of Kingston, Ontario, 1 brother; Robert “Bob” (late Lorraine) of Moncton, several brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by infant daughter Christiane.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9, Wednesday at 9:00 am until departure for funeral. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Louis de Francais R. C. Church, St. Louis de Kent, on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 11:00 am. Internment in the parish cemetery. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Joseph Peter Augustine
1961-2008
Elsipogtog, NB – Joseph Peter Augustine passed away suddenly at home, Elsipogtog, NB on Sunday, November 30th, 2008. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late John William and Josephine (Sark) Augustine.
Survived by 1 sister; Anna Bella Peters, 1 brother; Albert Peter Paul, 6 nieces, 6 nephews, several great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents; John and Josephine and 1 brother; Raymond Peter Paul.
Resting at his niece’s home, Genevieve Ann Julian, 70 Oak Street, Elsipogtog. A funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog on Thursday, December 4th, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Internment will be held at the parish cemetery. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Anita Arsenault
1913-2008
Rexton, NB - Anita Arsenault, 95 of Rexton passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lion’s Nursing Home on Monday, December 1st, 2008. Born in Egmont Bay, PEI on December 9th, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Augustin and Marguerite (Leclerc) Arsenault.
Anita will be sadly missed by her daughter Joan Dugas (Raymond) of Aldouane, and grandson; James Dugas (Kelly Ann) of Greenwood, Nova Scotia, several nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family, Anita was predeceased by her husband Clovis in 1996, 9 brothers; Andrew, Jerome, Albert, Alfred, Bruno, Arthur, Steve, Gilbert & Casmir, and 2 sisters; Loretta and Delphine.
Anita enjoyed playing the piano and reading.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral Mass will be held at the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Friday, December 5th, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Internment will be in Adamsville, NB. A special thank you to Father Mercier for his visits and prayers. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).

Joseph Cail
1959-2008
Harcourt, NB - Joseph Cail 49, of Harcourt, NB passed away accidently at his residence on Saturday, December 6th, 2008. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Herbert and Ruby (Young) Cail. He was employed by Agnew’s Lumber and attended St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Brown’s Yard.
Joseph will be sadly missed by his former partner Irene Steeves of Adamsville, son Nathan Steeves of Harcourt, 2 step-sons; Ashton (Tessa) of Adamsville, David (Carrie) of Moncton, 2 step grand daughters; Emily & Chelsey, 4 sisters; Irene Flanagan (late Gordon) of Moncton, Hilda Warman (Thomas) of Bass River, Sharon Bustard (Lloyd)of Bass River, Cindy McDermott (Sheldon) Rexton, 2 brothers; Vernon (Marlene) of Moncton and Stephen (Pauline)Moncton, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by 1 sister Rita Roberts (2001), 1 brother Gary Cail (2003), 2 infant brothers and 1 infant sister.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. A funeral service will be on Saturday, December 13th, 2008 at 11:00 am, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Brown’s Yard. A reception at the church hall for family and friends will follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Rexton Credit Union to the Trust Fund for Nathan Steeves would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252)

Joseph (Jos) Arsenault
1912-2008
St. Louis de Kent, NB - Joseph (Jos) age 96, passed away at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Nursing Home, Bouctouche, December 10, 2008. Born in Guimond Village the 12th of February, 1912, he was the son of the late Adolphe Arsenault and Emilie Richard.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 70 years, Marie-Luce Vautour, daughter, Margo Dionne (Evariste) of Dieppe, son Alex (Corrine) of Saint-Louis, daughter in-law, Paulette, grand son, Stéphane (Candace), his great great grandson Jos Jr. of Oromocto, sister, Ida Robichaud, sister in-law Clémentine (late Marcel) and several nieces and nephews. Jos had been employed with D.O.T. for 18 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a jovial person who enjoyed his life. He liked playing billiards, cards, and cross country skiing at the Kouchibouguac National Park.
Visitation at Thompson Memorial Home, Saint-Louis Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Monday 2 pm until departure for funeral. The funeral mass will be held at the Saint-Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, Monday, December 15 at 4 pm .At the request of the family, donations to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Nursing Home of Bouctouche would be appreciated.

Laura Daigle
1910-2008
Aldouane, NB - Laura Daigle, 98 of Aldouane, NB passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria, Saint-Louis de Kent on Sunday, December 28, 2008. Born in Aldouane, Laura was the daughter of the late Albert and Ozelie (Babin) Daigle. She had worked many years as a Hairdresser, a store clerk at Jakes Clothing Store and in Nursing. Laura will be sadly missed by her adopted brother, Joseph Daigle of Ottawa, ON, two nieces, Georgette LeBlanc (Jean), Claudette Chevarie (Pierre), and by four great nieces. Laura was predeceased by two sisters, infant Alice, Eveline at the age of 62 and one brother, Leonard at the age of 29.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday 11:30 am until departure for funeral. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1 pm. St. Ignace, NB - Albertine Thébeau 95, of St. Ignace, NB passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in St. Ignace, Albertine was the daughter of the late Hypolite and Marie (Thébeau) Chevarie. She was a member of the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church and the St. Ignace Golden Age Club.
Albertine will be sadly missed by her 6 daughters; Eliza Robichaud (Albert) of MASS, USA, Anna Allain (Abraham) of MASS, USA, Suzanne Arsenault (Roger) of St. Ignace, Yvonne Ouellete (Gus) of Irishtown, Evangéline Gallant (Ronald) of MASS, USA, Diane Boisvert of Aldouane, 4 sons; Eddie (Clairise) of MASS, USA, Yvon (Eva) of St. Ignace, Camille (Huberte) of Indian Mountain, Alfred (Marie-Celine) of Irishtown, 32 grand children, 52 great grand children, 3 sisters-in-law; Madeleine Daigle, Eva Chevarie, Bertha Daigle and several nieces and nephews.
The last surviving member of her immediate family Albertine was predeceased by her husband Trefflé, 9 sisters; Melina, Rosanne, Josephine, Ursule, Delima, Zelia, Eliza, Marie, Yvonne and 6 brothers; Nazaire, Albénie, Ernest, Eloie, Albert and Alban.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday at 2:00 PM until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at 5:00 PM at the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church, St. Ignace. Internment will be at the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richbucto (523-4252)

Jean-Baptiste Daigle
1923-2009
Shediac, NB - Jean-Baptiste Daigle 85, of St. Charles, NB passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 17th, 2009 at La Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in St. Charles he was the son of the late Joseph and Domine (Daigle) Daigle. Before retiring, Jean-Baptiste worked on the railway. He was a member of St. Charles Borromée R.C. Church and the St. Charles Golden Age Club.
Jean-Baptiste will be sadly missed by 2 sisters; Nathalie (late Edgar Richard), Marie-Anne (Pat Burton) both of Saint John, 2 brothers; Albert of Montreal, Quebec, Edmond (Yvette) of Moncton, and 1 adopted brother; Ernest (Hester) of Moncton. He is predeceased by his brother Elzear.
Resting at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Monday, January 19th from 10:00 AM until departure for funeral. A funeral Mass will be on Monday, January 19th, 2009 at 3:00 PM, St. Charles Borromée R.C. Church, St. Charles. Internment will be in the spring. If so desired donations to Palliative Care, La Villa Providence, Shediac or donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252), www.thompsonsfuneralhome.com In case of incumbent weather the visitation and funeral Mass will be rescheduled to Tuesday, January 20th, 2009.
